1. Security: If the exchange offer 2FA or not and where the funds are stored. If it's not in cold storage, don't use it. If they get hacked, your funds are gone forever.
2. Reputation: This is based on the reviews you read about exchanges.
3. UI/UX: Not many people take this in consideration but I do. If there are multiple exchanges with the same security measures and reputation, I will take the most attractive one in UI terms and the one that give a better user experience.
I personally don't mind paying an extra fee If the exchange is worth it. I suggest using Binance, Bittrex, Hitbtc and staying away from exchanges like Yobit and Liqui.

Kucoin is better than hitbtc. I heard dome issues about Hitbtc that there are hackers inside, and also they are charging very high fee

I agree with you. I like Binance exchanges, Bitrex. Started trading on the Bitrex then switched to Binance, like the number of trading pairs and trading volumes. I traded a little on Yobit, this is a scam.

from my experience - it is binance and kucoin , it comfortable and include many currencies
-
Just like I use exchange. the most important thing is the security and convenience of the transaction. then the trading volume must be large at the place of exchange.
-
For me, it's my first time to join the campaign so that I don't really know what is the best exchange for traders, i think i need to research the site. How can i know if the exchange site is legit and not a scammer?

Agree with everything except Hitbtc. A lot of bad reviews about it and I have long stop to trade on it. In addition, they have high commissions.
-
I use binance, their fees are ridiculously low. And they have referral incentives, I've made a pretty decent amount with referrals. Not compared to the top place which is like 175+ bitcoins, but still more than nothing.
-
I only use Bittrex and Binance for mainstream and alt coins. Simple UI's and feel they can be trusted not that they've been around for a little bit. Happy trading and always do your research and never spend more than you are willing to lose.

Great reminders buddy, I liked the same also I considered also the fee on trading and withdrawal on choosing an exchange. But for me these are the best exchanges I found: Kucoin, Poloniex and Cryptopia.
