I am also on the same side as you, there is always two different view to everything which is the positive and negative way. I rather be the one to build my portfolio up when the market is down rather than building my portfolio when the market is prospering. As a trader, I recommend you to look on technical analysis, fundamentals - concerning news about crypto, crowd psychology, and things like that.
The right way is not to buy at lows and sell at highs, it's idiotic and unrealistic wish.
Better to buy when market says "I'm STRONG!!!" :) and sell when you indicate the change of trend and weakness of market or an asset.
