Title: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country?
Post by: ambar33n on June 24, 2018, 10:47:17 AM
Well, i just thought, if bitcoin become a currency of one Country, maybe it can destroy that country? Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax, and tax are used by the government to make that country a good one, without tax, what will be used to spend and make that country a good one?

What do you think?

The volatility of bitcoin would make it impossible to have as a state currency.  Like, oh man we were gonna build three schools and a hospital next week but too bad bitcoin tanked, guess none of those laborers can feed their family now.  Taxes are a necessary part of any country, you need the infrastructure of a country taken care of usually by the central government just because it makes more sense to do it that way.  It's just better efficiency.
