Bitcoin NFT, also known as the Bitcoin Ordinals protocol, is a method of creating encrypted asset content on the Bitcoin blockchain. It was introduced by Casey Rodarmor in January 2023 with the aim of creating permanent art, text, or video existence, which is called "inscription".
