XRP and XLM serve very different functions, with XRP focused on transferring funds between financial institutions and XLM focused on the peer-to-peer sending of digital assets. However, the market capitalization of XRP is almost 10x higher than XLM's, which may make this coin a better investment.

XRP and XLM both are good coins to buy. Both coins are doing great since launch. Currently the price of these coins is low. You take advantage of this low price and invest also try to hold it until the bullmarket.

I don't have good expert to XLM in few years, but as one of very potential coin , I think we should collect it.

I suggest you buy both.
XRP is top 10 coin nd XLM will have possibility to be there at the coming future.
But not for now.
Maybe for short term, we should think XLM will reach about 1-2 USD , that's all

Sorry, I personally prefer to buy XRP than XLM.
XRP is more popular and have good communities.
But I also invested in XLM but not much in .y wallet , XRP is bigger.

Absolutely right, both variants are worthy of attention, and in general almost all altcoins of their top 50 should be considered, not always large capitalization = large profit, very often large capitalization = just a lot of coins, and in the case of XRP there are a lot of coins and if you compare them by growth potential in percentage, XLM is likely to bring profit exactly the same (not less exactly) than XRP, you can just buy them both and that's it.

Apart from the things you've made mentioned, If we are to look outside the market cap and the rest, xrp might be bigger in capitalization but investment wise, it seems okay to me because recently, there has been a lot of crack down on privacy coins. There seems to be a coordinated attack on these coins related to privacy and it's worry some to buy something like that with the hope of making many profits later in the future. Xrp might be bigger but I will go with it and buy for long term because there is no exchange that doesn't have xrp but only few has xlm.

I don't understand what private coins have to do with it, because these coins are not considered as such and especially XRP which can be considered as managed , maybe you are confusing XRP with ( Monero XMR ) which is a confidential coin ?

I personally don't recommend investing in this coin this year, because there are no significant surprises, and there is still no movement in the price, if you want to buy it for long-term investment and your funds are for investment, that's not a problem in my opinion, but if you want to Investing and getting profits in the short term of these two tokens is not recommended

Personally, I love stellar. Because stellar has low fee in order to activate its wallet plus there are assets like USDC on stellar chain, I believe that stellar will go up in price in a bull market. Given a choice between the two, I would love to buy more stellar. Then again, nothing is certain and proper research should be done by every individual who wanna invest in. :)

I have been seeing XLM for long although I wondered about the price presently because when you look at Stellar then you would know that people where using it for payment purpose and was a bit cheaper than Ethereum for transaction. Stellar is an old coin that has gained reputation although I hardly read about latest update that concerns to this project, but I must say having both in ones portfolio is not a bad investment in my opinion.

I think xrp just survived from it's bad days for the last few weeks many good news are coming about xrp so it has started to pump from the bottom I'm holding little amount of xrp also xlm is still good investment altcoin for the bull market.

What other news are you expecting from XRP than the usual next banking blockchain that they refused to show real life workings, they are just speculating day and night without any improvement or announcements from those banks using there products. The recent lawsuit from SEC should have been upgraded with ETF just like Solana did and it's making their coin to pump right now.
Anyone planning to buy XRP or XLM should buy other coins at the top of the market but if they have more money to spare and have invested a lot already can buy them and hold incase of tomorrow if they later cook.

To choose both of them definitely requires a large amount of funds and must be balanced with our needs so that when one of the coins is Dumped, we can easily back it up. For example, with a capital of 200 dollars:
1. Main capital 200 dollars
2. Backup 100 dollars for all
3. XLM 25 dollars
4. XRP 25 dollars
5. Backup 50 dollars for XLM and XRP
Maybe this scheme I think is simpler but when it comes to doing it it will feel very difficult, especially if you have to use quite a lot of capital.
Do you agree with the stages of selecting capital and backup as I mentioned above?

Having a capital allocation plan and reserves like this demonstrate a knowledge of how to strike the right balance between prospects and threats. It is shown that by dividing the capital into several parts we can be prepared if the market develops in an unexpected manner. While this may feel somewhat unpalatable when in practise, it helps keep us thinking logically and not make the wrong choices. The most crucial factor is to ensure that the amount of capital we used is one that can be managed within our financial strength in case we are not watching the market closely while running the business.

Actually there is nothing wrong with this planning and it is very useful to have a plan, unfortunately the crypto market is difficult to predict how long we will be held back and until when we hold the coins we have, at least the reserve funds are used to buy other coins that have more potential than buying XRP and XLM

Buying xrp and xlm is a good decision i think this is the last chance to buy altcoins at the biggest discount canada, maxico, china and America trade war is the reason for the crypto Criss but Bitcoin has started to pump fastly also Eric Trump is taking about ethereum so ethereum is the good asset to buy.

What you said is also true if we dare to buy Ripple coins (not for Stellar) because I see that the trade war between the US and China has a huge impact on the financial ecosystem in the world, including in the cryptocurrency category.
Just look at the effects of China and US trade, all gold prices around the world have increased by tens of percent and I also see Bitcoin crypto from a price of 83,000 dollars up to 93,000 and even more when I just saw it on the Binance market.
I also feel like Ripple will also follow the price of Bitcoin and Bitcoin seems like it will increase maybe to 130,000 dollars or more.
