Title: Has Bitcoin accomplished its goal?
Post by: Domithra on July 02, 2018, 05:41:00 AM
Apparently, Bitcoin has accomplished a lot looking at the road map of it yet it has a long way to go in order to accomplish its full goal. Bitcoin was meant to enhance online payment method, thus to be accepted by several shops, businesses, institutions, countries etc but here is the case the attention of payment has shifted more to Bitcoin investment. Anyway, Bitcoin will get there gradually.

I think bitcoin will ultimately be used as a store of value and not as a currency.  I think it's too volatile to be used as a currency, you could change what you pay from second to second.  Doesn't make sense to be used that way.

Even if thats a goal, I just don't see that as necessary.. even as just a store of value.. bitcoin is just fine in its scope.  I don't know anyone who'd feel comfortable spending bitcoin or receiving bitcoin as a shop either.. You bought like a cup of coffee with bitcoin in 2016 it probably would have cost you 200.00 compared to December prices.. likewise a cup of coffee in december would be worth about 60 cents now.

I think that it has not accomplished its goal, because most of the people in here consider bitcoin as an investment or a form to make huge  amounts of money, that is the main reason of why i think that it has failed on the main purpose of what it had.

its ultimate goals is not to get used by shops or something like that.
but instead its goals is p2p technology without central authority, and it has been accomplished until now.
look at this here ;
https://coincheckup.com/coins/bitcoin/purpose

decentralization is its ultimate goal,as long as we are using it that way.
it can be said that way.

If we say all over the world, not really, because people around the world are only using digital currencies those country with good web connection. But bitcoin still keep working to give the most quality services to all the people who are using digital currencies. Maybe soon this coin will reach their goals as days go by, if all country totally accepted this digital money.

more or less can be said so. Although there are still many who became a special note for the sake of the bitcoin development in the future. surely not to die in the middle of the road, it could even become a supporter for the community to meet their needs.

Well, bitcoin achieved what its goal.
The decentralized system.
The high value.
The popularity.
The major coin.
The volatile.
The market manipulation.

If I'm not mistaken, the goal of bitcoin now is let it be the global currency.

Bitcoin still has the main purpose of being right "accepted in all circles as a transaction"

If you use investment like me (trading on the Exchange), then that is the value given by Bitcoin and I can't refuse it. Cheersss

I think Bitcoin will continue to move forward as a pioneer of cryptocurrency for future financial problems.
Cryptocurrency transactions make it easier for finance in the future than using FIAT.

Bitcoin was created as an alternative payment system to the current system of currencies. In fact, he has not reached his goal to the full. As a global payment system, it does not work yet. Now there are a lot of promising coins that are better than bitcoin, cope with this task.

It's only a matter of time. Maybe bitcoin is currently more popular as a classy investment. And this is a little out of the original purpose of creating bitcoin. But I'm sure, over time, bitcoin will be used as a financing system as it should.

Bitcoin was created as an alternative payment system to the existing payment system of various states, but so far it has not reached its goal. It was not used primarily as a means of payment, but for the time being it is mainly used as a means of accumulating value. This increases its price, but in general it is very bad for him. This is a dead-end path in development and can lead to its complete depreciation.

In my opinion, the bitcoin has got a good progress so far but still need a lot of time to reach the real goals. To be accepted around the world legally is the ultimate goal of bitcoin. It is possible yet it should take a long time to make it happen. Right now, people trade the bitcoin, some projects accept it as a payment, and it can be used for payment in hotels (in Australia), and many other achievements of bitcoin. These should continue to get more achievement.

I think Bitcoin has reached its goal. It brought to our world a cryptocurrency and the possibility of conducting an electronic operation. I think that's all that Bitcoin should have done. A good time is for the emergence and strengthening of a new modern cryptocurrency. Technology is developing very quickly. I don't know what she will be like.

The big plan of Bitcoin is always there and continues to exist, for example Bitcoin will raise the price again to 10,000 USD.
We see now that Bitcoin is around 6500USD, that hope must always be there.

Even though bitcoin is the father of all cryptos and is on top despite the recent downward trend in the crypto market, I still believe it has more to offers in all aspect and that it hasn’t accomplished all it goals yet.
