Title: My trading style
Post by: pokxon on July 02, 2018, 06:23:01 PM
I intend to reform my trading method.
Firstly, I would choose 25 coins with real development background and value fell deep. I will buy 5 coins in 25 coins and sell them to the target that I put. I do not care if the market changes like that. When one of the five types of coins touches the target, I choose one of the 19 coins and consider it to be low to buy.
Repeat until 25 coins have been selected for profit

i think 25 coins are too hard to manage.
i would not consider more than 10 coins. And for the ones I trust more I would buy more than the others.
I would not risk my money so I would spend the most part for high market cap ones.
I would sell them with different targets.
For coin A: I would sell %50 for 2xA and the rest for 3xA. This is just an example

Yes, good method. In your method, there is less chance to take risk. I prefer this method because we should do trade with our trustable coin and also with those coins which have the good possibility to raise up.

Thank you.

Seems to be a bit too vague to work. What if none of the five you choose hit the value you expect as the other twenty rise. Be more specific with your selection and choose your top five without worrying about the rest. Put them on a watchlist and be willing to sell one of your five at a lower price if necessary. Why bother selecting the other twenty coins if you may not even buy them, markets can change rapidly, especially in crypto.

your idea is great and helpful. choose 25 then find 5 better coin and observe its movement. But for me  5 coin is enough.  But 25 coins is too much to handle

I think even 10 coins is probably too many to manage on a day to day basis, but you can diversify as much as possible if you plan on holding things for a long time.

He is managing only 5 coins though as what I understand. He would choose from the remaining 20 coins then if he was able to sell from the first 5 he choose first. Well, I think OPs strategy is good to just focus on coins that has good fundamentals and it would be good if the coins has been existing for sometime so that he can do technical analysis on it.

Seems reasonable to me.. although my one suggestion is hold 3x more bitcoin $ amounts over any other altcoin or allow your bitcoin investment be equal to the other 24... no alt can do well when bitcoin is mooning or fudding, so being more than 50% in altcoins will likely not outdo your bitcoin stack over time.

Diversifying coins is a good strategy but as many people said managing these coins could be burdensome. In addition, when the goals are reached, it is necessary to realize immediately, because if emotions come into play wrong decisions can be made.

my choice short-term trade has divided the sum into 5-6 coins and I trade in them if to divide on too many, then it isn't really convenient, it is possible to get confused

This strategy is good but 25 coins are too many to handle in which in trading we need to constantly to monitor the price, market update and performance of each coin. Except if these coins is for long term investments then then this is good but for short term it will be very risky and dificult to handle. Maybe 10 coins are enough for this trading style of yours.

I think you need to select 5 best coins out of the those 25 coins to diversify your investment. Too many coins will spread your money in a little amount and you will gain few profits on every coins not unless you can afford to invest in a large scale.

I was able to trade the difference with foxt a few weeks ago. At that time, foxt was traded on mercatox and hotbit. I bought the foxt on a hotbit and shipped it via mercatox for very cheap rates and the price of foxt on mercatox was 15-25% higher than the hotbit. This helped me get big profits then.

Yes, I agree with your idea. I think 5 to 10 coins is enough to handle. And we can closely monitor their price movements clearly. If I am to choose, I would prefer to select within the top 100 coins in the coinmarketcap to surely earn good profit.

That is your chosen strategy then so be it. As long as you have the capital and the discipline to follow your trading plan.

To make a profit we have to learn a lot, practice and be able to take risks. Safe trading is only possible on a demo account :)

You did a good strategy bro. I think to invest in several coins still the best way to avoid big risk and make more chance to get profits. But for me as a beginner, I will try to invest in two or three most recommended coins to invest firstly.
