Is everyone buying stuff with Bitcoin? Maybe.
Is everyone buying stuff with Ripple? Maybe.

The primary aim of Bitcoin, as proposed by Satoshi, was to create a banking system managed by every individual. This system enables anyone to approve their transactions at any point in time, putting them in charge of their own money. The peer-to-peer (p2p) functionality was a key aspect of this new banking system. Fortunately, Bitcoin evolved into a wealth-generating digital gold. Its ability to appreciate in value makes it outstanding, capturing the interest of many. That's why most people see it as a money-making avenue rather than a better means of exchange (p2p).

I assume Ripple is taking advantage, making their own coin a common means of exchange. The price is far lower than that of Bitcoin, making it much easier to perform peer-to-peer transactions. But my question is: can Ripple achieve the same goal in the future?.
