With the availability of thousands of coins in the crypto market, some of them don't really stand out, while others look very promising. Basically, not everyone can invest in coins that are very expensive and already guaranteed for the future, but does that mean there are no further opportunities?
The introduction of altcoins like XRP serves as a better alternative to very expensive coins like Bitcoin. XRP, which is still at a price-friendly stage, provides an opportunity for those who believe in the project. With the forthcoming Bitcoin halving, there is a possibility that other coins might also increase in price, including XRP.
From the current 60-cent price, I believe we might be heading for a $1 price next year. This could benefit those who are currently holding some. I have someone who I want to benefit from the little price increase next year, but the person seems a little skeptical about anything related to crypto.
How can I convince the person to buy some XRP?.

How can I convince the person to buy some XRP?.
It is one thing if you want to prove to your investor to buy cryptocurrency and another thing to prove to him to buy cryptocurrency XRP, it is not a very clear cryptocurrency, it is very much treated with distrust, I would advise you not to tell your investor to buy only one cryptocurrency because it is not right and I think he should understand it.
-
Yeah though Xrp is a good project and make more impact even when your funds you want to invest not that much, but the investors has to know the risk in it not just the profit. So I won't advice anyone to put their money in just one cryptocurrencies expecially when is not Bitcoin he or she is planning to purchase so to be in a safer side share your funds in different altcoins to minimize any risks.
-
I understand that your friend might not be sure about investing in cryptocurrency... but there are a few things you can say to convince them to think about buying some XRP. First... XRP is cryptocurrency that is cheaper than coins like Bitcoin. This means its easier for people who dont have much money to invest.
Also... in the past... when there was a Bitcoin event called halving... the prices of different cryptocurrencies... including XRP... went up. This means there might be a chance for the price of XRP to go up too because again halving is coming.
Another thing is that right now... XRP price at 60 cents. And if the bull season will start so and XRP will which I am sure that it will move so it can go easily to 2x or even more.
But this is the Crypto Market my dear friend no one can say anything about it so be careful while suggesting anyone.
-
One thing which convinced me about XRP and I think it can also convince your friend that the XRP is a bank coin if the banks will start accepting the XRP so I am sure that XRP will go more up and also this will move in the bull runs so he should by. It can be risky but if he will take little risk so he will be succeeded in life.

I don't think giving financial investment advice is wise, especially in the highly volatile crypto market. During the 2020 cycle, Ripple was involved in a lawsuit with the SEC and XRP did not have an impressive price increase like ETH or ADA, many XRP holders left this token in disappointment.
I know that Ripple just won the SEC and the potential of XRP is huge, but better yet, you can share your views with others, then suggest them to learn more about the crypto market, about Ripple project, about XRP tokens, then they will make their own investment decisions according to their risk appetite. You will also be safe from unnecessary criticism in case the XRP token won't have an impressive price increase in next 2024 cycle.

Assuming I convinced them to get into cryptocurrency and recommended XRP, but didn't persuade them to buy it, is it proper?.

I will levar my 2 cents here.
First of all, you shouldn't try to convince anyone to invest in anything
Let people do what they wish with their money. If you convince someone, you will be morally responsible for their investment success or fail.
Second, xrp price is not attractive. Xrp market cap is huge, it is not "cheap". It is in the top 5 of coins in the market.
It may be an amazing investment , but not for the reasons you mentioned, in my opinion.
-
Ripple (XRP) I would not advise anyone to invest economically in it as there are various constraints on it especially if all the charges received by the SEC are withdrawn by April 2024 only the price of this coin will increase. But despite the increase in other altcoins in the market, the price of Ripple is not increasing, so Ripple investors are very disappointed. At the moment new investors are not being created but those who invested earlier are only holders.

Perhaps a person is engaged in this type of income, not everyone wants to get into the essence of doing and be a direct investor and want to delegate their money to others to increase them, but just buying and holding one coin is certainly not a good strategy.

Maybe several people confuse, worry about ripple.
Yeah ripple is bank coin.
I think we should check this coin in crypto currency market cap, XRP rank is number six.
It's not easy become there. At the past, several negative issues against ripple.
But XRP still exist, just salute.

But XRP still exist, just salute.
XRP has very strong fundamentals, whether from the community, investors or banks around the world.
In fact, Ripple's collaboration with various banks has been tested and Ripple is certainly of great interest to the cryptocurrency community.
The technology that Ripple has is very advanced, even before EVMs existed, the Ripple coin was already standing tall with its solid technology.

Yeah I agree with your opinion, XRP has good fundamental and good technology.
I think we should believe in this coin.
As many people said ripple is bank coin
I think I agree with this
-
How can I convince the person to buy some XRP?.
Why would you do that?
You cannot guarantee anyone that they will make an extra profit if they buy XRP coins, and the only final result where that person will be satisfied with your advice is a good income. Otherwise, if that person becomes impatient or goes into panic selling, you will certainly be to blame for the "bad advice".
This is my advice, don't advise others. Sounds paradoxical, doesn't it? :o
You can suggest to others where to invest but don't try to convince them, it will be easier for you. At least that's my experience ;)

Sadly, it seems most people are not putting these break through into consideration. They still see the 2020 SEC issue as the big factor hindering this coin. They just don't want to accept what this coin might bring to the financial sector in few years time. Can't wait to see XRP's cooperation with banks globally.

Let's wait what will by the Ripple team. Ripple is bank coin.
I think It's also the reason to make investors more confident to invest in this coin.
I don't read the news update about ripple, maybe other already...
-
I also feel too skeptical of ripple coins because after all this ripple cryptocurrency that has a system "which is said to be" centralized.
The proof for this ripple coin does not rise too high and does not go down too deep, this is proof that this ripple coin is centered and I will also encourage investors to buy ripple coins.
But on the other hand I also did not recommend buying ripple coins for fear that there would be a sharp decline due to Dev selling so many ripple coins, this was more dangerous than what we thought.
-
I won't suggest you to convince someone to purchase XRP as that coin has struggled a lot legally and may face some more struggles in future. Although, XRP has been out there for many years and there are some investors who believe in XRP but I won't suggest this coin to anyone.
I know that there's some potential for XRP's growth and it may reach that potential in this bull run but there are also some set backs in its way which we can't neglect. I would prefer you to suggest a better coin to that person that may allow him to gain some profits in this bull run.
-
I think it depends on how skeptical the person is. Two years ago, a “group” somehow gathered supposedly to raise the price of ripple, there were cosmic and quite interesting goals, everyone believed in it, began to invest their hard-earned money, but when the price tag reached the maximum, they simply cut off everyone’s margin and after Because of this, many began to not believe in this coin. If it was so easy to manage the price tag and gather a certain group of people, then faith in this project disappears.

I think legal matter that against XRP has passed.
XRP ripple has solved this problem with SEC.
I believe XRP is one of potential coin, because it's bank coin.
But It's just my opinion, don't suggest to buy this coin to anyone too
-
what have happened to your plans now? is there any positive reactions?
-
How can I convince the person to buy some XRP?.
It is very difficult to convince a skeptical person to invest. But if a person is skeptical about an investment then it is never right to convince him of that investment because if you invest him with your positive opinion outside of his opinion then it will be seen that once the investment is lost he will hold you responsible for the rest of his life. So it is better to stay away from a man than to be blamed by him. However, XRP is currently disappearing from people's popularity because at the moment, while other markets are thriving, XRP is not making any headway. I made myself to buy XRP coins but took a break due to the market reaction. Although many influential market analysts are making positive predictions about XRP, I don't think it will do very well. But prepare yourself to buy some XRP at your own risk because the price of XRP may go up a bit if the SEC charges case is settled.

I have also noticed that skeptical people don't appreciate receiving negative information, such as risks associated with any advertised product or goods. This is where most crypto enthusiasts tend to focus on the positive aspects and neglect potential drawbacks, which could lead to significant issues in the end. What's your take on that?

How can I convince the person to buy some XRP?.
Educating people about cryptocurrency can be challenging, especially when it comes to convincing them to invest in a specific coin like Ripple.
My advice is to first introduce and educate your friend about cryptocurrencies in general. If they express interest in investing, let them decide which coins to invest in
However, for newbies, it is better to start with Bitcoin, not Altcoins.
Besides the Halving, are there any other factors that make you confident in Ripple reaching $1 this year? Just curious.

and the best way as well is to show them how your life is changing because of crypto , I mean try to lure them by seeing what are we gaining and profiting here , not specifically showing them your wallet but your life changing style.
this is how I started to invest when I saw my cousin that presented me about crypto but I denied then one day we met again and this time His living is luxurious and I asked him whats His Job and told me that all of those are because of His investment and dealings in crypto.
-

First of all, I think it's cool to teach people about what they are buying or what they want to buy so that they get the proper guide of what they are buying and not just putting money on what they don't understand, it's will looks like the person is buying a pump and dump scheme.
While I understand that XRP is a good assets, it's wrong to make predictions for person who doesn't understand anything, $1 dollar is really big for XRP because that's like 2x the price of the market cap which is like 30 billion dollars we are talking here, we need heavy bull run to get that price.
In addition, this week one of the confounders of XRP wallet were compromised and 213M worth of XRP are now on the move. This incident will not make XRP get the good growth it's supposed to get, there might be a se pressure if the hacker decide to sell.

Surely this will have a quite significant influence. Well, let's just see how it develops. If the hacker sells it at a price that is intended to bring down money, then get ready there will be repercussions. various FUDs will usually accompany progress in the market. But actually, if you already understand this kind of code and understand XRP, this won't have a big influence. But unfortunately not everyone who holds XRP wants to understand and maintain it. because somehow, XRP has experienced quite a significant price drop after this news.

Why XRP is a better alternative? I think Bitcoin is still the best for investment. There is no problem with its price, we are not a must to buy 1 Bitcoin. We can buy with the amount of money we have. Even if we only have $10, we can buy Bitcoin. The cheap price of XRP doesn't guarantee to give bigger profits than investing in Bitcoin.
From the current 60-cent price, I believe we might be heading for a $1 price next year.
The current price is a half of $1. It is easy to reach $1 in the current bullish season. The ATH is even above $3, so I think people who buy XRP will target to sell above $3. But selling $2 - $3 will be very safe, I am sure the price will be above $2 if we consider the price change in the last bullrun season.
-

This is called Flexing for promoting :)
Humans have a natural inclination to imitate. And money will always have a strong pull on people.
So, successful people make good brand ambassadors for a product.
Your cousin is a good marketer, and you are a lucky guy.
However, when we suggest investing, we must also remind that crypto is an investment asset that has high risk and volatility.

Maybe it's not yet time for the Ripple coin to increase in price because I'm sure that one day the Ripple coin will rise in price like the DOGE coin which is always accompanied by Elon Musk.
I also seem to be skeptical if I have to buy Ripple coins, if the OP says the current price is 0.6 USD and when the Bitcoin Halving the price of this Ripple coin could exceed 1 USD that seems strange to me.
This Ripple coin has a large supply of coins and maybe every minute it is printed by the founder of the CEO of Ripple or I mean released to the market for sale. Until now I am not sure whether I can buy Ripple coins. Sorry!

From the very beginning I would not even try to convince anybody to make in investment. Let them make choice themselves. That if first. Second, Ripple does not look a very attractive investment. Its price dropped significantly recently. Its positions as «Swift replacement/alternative» hasnt fulfilled yet, and be honest, it does not even have same powers as Swift has, not even close. Swift makes about 50 million transactions daily, that is 137k daily. Could Ripple network run same amount daily without issues? No one has ever tested it.

Ripple is not a good look in the wake of all the negative price action
Since 2018, they have claimed that XRP was created to be part of the next financial system.
Broken cassette. It's always the same and slowly getting boring
With a total supply of 100 billion and no demand, it's easy to predict what will happen next. No need to go to MIT to understand that.
And Brad is an early pioneer for crypto being too casual with nine figures worth of XRP. lol

I don't understand why you need to convince others to buy XRP, because their investment does not generate profit for you.
Normally I don't try to convince others to buy or sell tokens, they need to make their own decisions because the capital, profits, and losses are all theirs. I'm not Ripple, I don't sell tokens!
If I want to defend my view on XRP's potential, I can only give 2 reasons:
1. XRP is the token of Ripple, a company providing interbank transaction services => potential solution, with global partners.
1. Ripple won the SEC case. The energy accumulated in the 2021 cycle is poised to generate upside and new ATH in 2025.

Exactly right + they say one thing and do a little different. Sorry, 1 (negative) news from SEC = we will see -10% and -30% in 24 hours. Those who think it's impossible haven't seen everything in this market yet. It's strange that xrp, so popularized in obscure (cryptocurrency) social networks. I don't understand why such a popular asset (people self promoting). The feeling is that they want it to grow faster = so it can be sold (to naive newcomers). That's my opinion, anyway. ::)
P.S. For now, refraining from buying. The market is overheated. 8)
-
why XRP from a lot to choose from crypto market mate?
-
How can I convince the person to buy some XRP?.
Why do you have to convince people to buy XRP. Actually, this is not necessary because when you lose, You will be the one to blame. In the world of investment, we don't need to invite other people, unless they want to do it themselves. Investing in crypto is very risky, it's better if we invest ourselves and bear it ourselves if we lose, we don't need to invite other people.

Rumors. No truth. I mean either they will or they won't. we have a 50/50 chance of guessing.
They just make shit up for click, and I hear this every day. Bitcoin crossed 50k, and XRP is still 0.53. lol
And if Brad has any morals then he must resign from his position. Shame on him.

Yes right, No need to convince people to buy and get into XRP. When you give advice to buy coins but in reality they don't make a profit and are just stuck at high prices, it will make you a topic of conversation that is unpleasant to listen to.

Maybe he is pointing to someone close to him thats why he wanted to convinced them because he himself is Ripple supporter so luring them to buy this coin will help them gain with him.
sometimes we wanted to let our love one earn because we think we can earn as wel.
-
Xrp is not a new coin. It is more old and already trusted coin. XRP is one of the top coin in coinmarket. XRP already in the case from us cort. So i think people will be convinced easily.
I think huge people already convinced about XRP. And regularly huge people involving on XRP.

Well, In my opinion, it's actually quite risky if we try to convince other people to like XRP. Since XRP had problems with the SEC, there are many people who even now are often worried about the progress and future of XRP. Although I personally don't think so and so far I still sometimes buy XRP to prepare for the bull run later. But to try to convince other people to also invest in XRP, I'm not brave enough. because there is no guarantee for that

or maybe we should not convince them instead lets tell them about the goodness of the project specially if all the cases will be ended , for sure there is great future for this project mate
remember the great days of ripple back in the 2017-2018 where this is top rank at 3rd.

How can I convince the person to buy some XRP?.
I always tell people that, no matter how promising a coin looks to be in the future, don't try to convince anyone to invest in it.
The crypto market is unpredictable and bitcoin controls it. You can have your investment made in a good coin, and bitcoin begins to decline in price. What will happen to that coin? It depreciates heavily with bitcoin.
Imagine your friend invested in XRP at a high price, and the price of bitcoin has begun to decline. Won't XRP decline in price also? That will make your friend to be at a loss side.
If your friend doesn't understand the market volatility, he will be accusing or causing for making him lose his money by investing in XRP.
-
Re: How Do I Convince A Sceptical Person To Buy XRP?
Why wasting your time convincing a person that's considered closed-minded already when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency.
I mean the person's skeptical already so why waste your saliva convincing him/her?
I just watched a short a while ago saying, "Don't convince to buy somebody that's already made their decision not to." and this is true because this isn't worth it. Whatever the reason is, don't. There are many people out there that might be interested. They're the ones that you need to convince, or don't convince in general because they might blame you if they lose their money. Just introduce it to them and let them do their part which is researching.

If you are only expecting a 40 cents increase this 2024 when Bitcoin halving is on the table and same as Bitcoin ETF being approved.
then you are not really trusting this coin because those supporters are even looking at ATH breaking this year.
but about the topic on how to lure or convince a person to Buy XRP? let them not see or learn
about those problems that ripple might face in the near future against the SEC, and if that happened means you can surely
convinced them buying and holding XRP.

This is something that makes sense and is also quite wise. Because indeed all of that will be more risky when encouraging someone to invest in crypto, especially in coins like this. I just did it once and after that I really didn't want to. especially with XRP, the hopes for this coin are really small. Of the old coins that are still in the top 10, XRP is one of the old coins that is very difficult to increase, the progress is very slow. Even though we are tired of waiting for a new breakthrough from XRP, this is a project that seems like it is about to die because it is not progressing significantly, but on the other hand, this coin has a high market cap. ;D
Look at the graphic now, it's such a weird progress in XRP as one of top coins, no high progress occurs. It is still right here and not even rising up significantly.

From the current 60-cent price, I believe we might be heading for a $1 price next year.
What makes you think that?
You can’t convince someone with illogical explanations (relying on feelings), especially if you don’t look like someone who has succeeded with XRP. Besides, if you have a lot of time, you can do something more productive for yourself than trying hard to convince someone to do something they don’t like.

There could be a lot of reasons why that skeptical person is not buying anything, especially XP with all the surrounding statements and the developers have their issues. I think it would be hard to reach the prediction that you gave.
To let someone decide on her own to buy XRP it should be their own volition in which they would research and say to themselves that it is worth it and not because someone said so.

and the best way as well is to show them how your life is changing because of crypto , I mean try to lure them by seeing what are we gaining and profiting here , not specifically showing them your wallet but your life changing style.
this is how I started to invest when I saw my cousin that presented me about crypto but I denied then one day we met again and this time His living is luxurious and I asked him whats His Job and told me that all of those are because of His investment and dealings in crypto.
Nothing to argue mate , because this is one of the biggest problem in every investments forms either online or physical.
those who lures prospective investors are just promoting the brighter side and not what can happen in the back of it.
we must be transparent and open , tell them the riskiest part of each investments so if ever they enter then they knew all the areas and possibilities and not just the good one.

Out of many altcoins out there, why XRP? :D I mean I agree with what you said that the project has been into many controversies, and problems already and although the project successfully defended it against SEC, it will not change the fact that XRP is one of the coins that I will not buy... at least for now, and I believe that there are way better altcoins out there to buy other than XRP.
Like I said, it's a waste of time for a person to convince to buy not only XRP but any altcoin if they're close-minded, if they're sceptical, and if they don't want crypto in general. Let them decide whether they want to buy it or not, and don't convince. :)

Yeah, there is no reason for us to try to convince others to do something, especially when it comes to investing. We don't share in the profits but can be scapegoats, and we don't need to act like we know more than others in the crypto market.
I will not talk about the potential of XRP because each investor has their own opinion, similar to how many investors are still holding EOS and NEO with the expectation that they will explode in the bullrun 2025 even though they failed in 2021. If I had to convince someone to invest in crypto, I would only advise them to invest in BTC right now and hold until Q2 2025.

It really doesn't feel like we need to convince others to buy and invest in crypto, because when there is a loss, we will be the ones to blame. We should just answer if they ask and I also agree with you, if I have to suggest I also suggest them to buy bitcoin. This is a good answer.

From the current 60-cent price, I believe we might be heading for a $1 price next year. This could benefit those who are currently holding some. I have someone who I want to benefit from the little price increase next year, but the person seems a little skeptical about anything related to crypto.
How can I convince the person to buy some XRP?.
Don't force others to buy crypto coins because one day it will become a burden for us, lucky if the coin bought by the person we suggested goes up but when the price of the coin goes down then that person will definitely blame us, including for giving advice to buy Ripple coins.
Just let them buy Ripple coins voluntarily or of their own accord because if they understand how Ripple works they will definitely buy easily or with just 1 click of a button they can buy Ripple coins.

Yeah, let them do what they do. unless we know them well, then if they ask for our advice, yes we give them advice, with various pluses and minuses of investing in XRP.
but if it were me, I would not enter XRP again, let what is already in my wallet be the last XRP investment for later in the bullish period to take profits, no matter how much the result is. because I am quite doubtful if XRP can be as good as before, so just as it is, learning from the past when I really liked XRP and did get high profits from XRP. I want to repeat it again but if we look at the condition of XRP now, ah it is quite doubtful.

I think is very difficult and risky to convince skeptical person to invest on any crypto coin, except you also convince him of the risk on such investments especially on any crypto coins.
Business generally is a pool of risk, and any body going into crypto investments must be aware of the risk associated with investments.
Now, a good a business man or woman who is ready for investment may not mind all the risk involved even on any crypto coins/tokens; he/she has to know that there are two sides of a coin, that is, a profit/loss outcomes.

Currently, there are many choices of new coins that may be more hype and potential to buy, and perhaps most people will be more interested in choosing these coins when compared to XRP. I used to be a big fan of XRP, but it seems that now I am no longer and will prefer coins that are currently more hyped which of course have the potential to increase prices faster.

Bro, don't force other people's will, let them choose their own coins, they want to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum or Ripple, it's up to them and of course it must be DWYOR and DYOR.
I also think that if I buy Ripple coins, I will hesitate because I see that the supply of Ripple coins is very large, the possibility of the price going up to 1 dollar takes a long time, while with my basic thinking as a layman about trading, I want to get profit from Ripple coins quickly.
As far as I know, Ripple coins are the creation of a centralized company (https://blog.bake.io/what-is-xrp-how-different-from-ripple/), with a centralized system there is a possibility that manipulation can occur. A small example might be when the coin price goes up to 0.8 dollars then people from the Ripple company sell their coins massively so that it drops back to 0.51 dollars.

Yep, that's my mind. Sometimes I also learn crypto myself from various internet and there are friends around who ask about crypto but I don't want to teach them because it's too risky for themselves. Especially about Ripple coins whose prices always change every time.

You who are experienced are also hesitant about Ripple coins for now, especially me who have only known crypto for the past few months and this makes me also hesitant to invest in Ripple coins. I also don't see any Good News from Ripple coins lately on online media or Telegram channels so I am even more doubtful about buying Ripple coins.

I think that you could express correct opinion in this post. So i believe that if we want to convince any person, we must be follow some step to invest in XRP coin. Without maintain this step we could not convince a sceptical person. I think that we must understanding in cryptocurrency market and this valuable crypto. So we must told the person in future XRP price will increase. Because bitcoin price is increase day by day, and when bitcoin price is high then all crypto currency will be high.

Currently, XRP will convince investors on its own through its impressive price increase. Everyone investing in the crypto market wants to make a profit, and profit will be the biggest motivation for investors to buy a particular token.
XRP has brought profits to loyal investors who bought XRP at the bottom, making many other investors interested and allocating a portion of their capital to XRP so as not to miss out on the opportunity. We won't need to convince anyone to invest in any token because when they make a profit, they won't share that profit with us.

How can I convince the person to buy some XRP?.
If you're trying to really convince someone to buy XRP, then you need to point them in the direction of research that has supported you, encouraging them to invest in it. If you tell some people to go and do their own research, they can end up not doing it because maybe other activities of the day are taking away their attention, but if you do the research for them, sit them down, and show them these results, they may become convinced on the spot based on the data that you've shown them, which points out that it will be a good investment to buy XRP. If they remain unconvinced, don't force them.

It's actually quite difficult and risky to convince someone to buy a particular coin, one of which might be XRP. Because in the future, we ourselves will also feel responsible for the condition of their assets. Indeed, we shouldn't have to think too much about it afterwards, but because we are the ones who convince the person to buy XRP, there will be a burden that makes us always provide information related to XRP and also the moment when we have to take profits or sell the coins. And we have to be prepared for various questions and demands when the market drops and the price of XRP crashes, for example. That's why, I personally don't want to convince other people to buy certain coins, especially altcoins. Because it will be a hassle in the future

It's better to play it safe by giving him an understanding that to enter the crypto world, whether it's to invest in XRP, BTC or others, it is mandatory to first learn some things that are at least basic. So that they don't come to the crypto world without any knowledge. This will also make them more confident whether they really want to invest in crypto or not, even though they know the mechanism and the risks. So far, this method tends to be safe, at most they ask about some coins. and we just give a real explanation, not exaggerated to become FOMO.

Let them decide what they want, as long as we don't interfere too much in their affairs. I'm tired of giving understanding to those who only focus on the results, but not on the process. Moreover, they have many demands and very high desires, but less efforts to learn crypto. What's worse, they believe more in influencers and their hype, not from what we explain.

That's it. This is what I do, because you also don't want to carry such a high risk to take care of them and there will be a lot of pressure, questions every day, and there will also be a lot of desires from them that make us much more busy in taking care of those people than our own affairs.
