Is there any service that pop some kind of notification when we are quoted or mentioned? I don't use telegram, and there are some notification tools in bitcointalk forum.
Please, tell me if there is a better place to post this. I couldn't find a meta board.

And short answer is: sorry, but no, there's no notification bot on the forum at the moment. You can use standard features of forum script (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=313192.0). ;)

I think we need a notification bot because most members like to use notification bots to get notified for mentions. The forum's notification system is not working for me even the notify button is not present for me.
The same issue is happening with other users, @Jokers I think it would be much better if someone with programming skills can create a bot which should be similar to the bot that's available for Bitcointalk users.

Probably so, but at the moment we have what we have. I'm not against, but as for me, I both never coded Telegram bots or worked with SMF CMS. So it's beyond my abilities to make more than to advice to use standard functions at the moment. Hope there will be more options in the future. :)

Doesn't work for me. No notify button here, as other user mentioned in the post you linked.

The button isn't present for me. I have tested many boards and many threads in those boards but seems like the button is missing for me. I'm not sure that why I can't see the button. I have not yet created my own threads but when I tried to find the button on others threads then I found nothing at all.

I know how difficult it is to browse a large forum without a notification system. Even in the bitcointalk, the notification system is not very effective. It was tryninja telegram bot that helped me alot before I deactivated my telegram account and returned to my newbie ways of getting notified.
It is same method I have been using here for the few days I became active here. At the top left of the forum, where your avatar is displayed, below your username is show new replies to your posts. That function is helping me navigate here. Anyone who mentions me in a thread I didn't post, should just use the pm to call my attention to it.

For now, I don't think we have anything like that here for now, but the admin has already promised to work towards it and make provide for a notifier that'll notify members when someone is mentioned or quoted.
