Title: can't we delete our posts?
Post by: Findingnemo on December 19, 2023, 12:27:52 AM
As the title says, I am trying to find the delete button but all I can see is the modify and quote button.

So, we don't have a delete button here or am I missing it somehow?

No, users don't have an option of deleting posts by default. This privilege can be granted to those who have some special badges like Royalty and some others.

There is no archive section, so what do I do with the topics I don't want? Move it to the "Test" section or is there another section?
I also found a section called Trash. However, I can respond to topics there. Aren’t trash topics supposed to be hidden and only visible to the admins and topic creator?

Moving to trash if the topic is no longer needed is okay. If you want to update it for a while better to move to test section. As for visibility, Trash section is visible only for signed up. If to hide it from anyone except admin and mods, it's up to admin.

If something is really needed to be deleted, you can ask a mod of a section or global one.

Thanks for the heads up, it seems different here from bitcointalk so may take some time to get used to. :D
