Currently, many crypto exchanges have limited or stoped services for users in Russia. For example, Binance canceled deposits and withdrawals of RUB, OKX does not support visits from Russia... I thought that the famous Russian exchange Yobit would regain market share but everything did not show what I thought is the truth.Yes, you are right, the trading volumes there are just terrible, I have assets there and I tried for 2 days to buy TRX tokens for only 500USDT and I had to change USDT to BTC to fully buy the amount of TRX I want, it's very sad that there are no volumes there, they appear there only when the exchange is doing something, but recently it does not keep its words and admins can not be trusted, all launching projects for the last couple of years were just abandoned and forgotten.
Currently Yobit does not have proof of reserves like many crypto exchanges, trading volume is also less than $100M per day - really very small. Additionally, the largest trading pairs involving ZEC and DASH are anonymous coins.(https://i.imgur.com/AqVKglT.jpg) (https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/yobit/)
I am really concerned about Yobit's future when it cannot convince domestic users in Russia with poor service, few trading pairs and not being strongly promoted.
Are you using Yobit? Will you continue to trust Yobit and be satisfied with all of Yobit's services?
Yes, you are right, the trading volumes there are just terrible, I have assets there and I tried for 2 days to buy TRX tokens for only 500USDT and I had to change USDT to BTC to fully buy the amount of TRX I want, it's very sad that there are no volumes there, they appear there only when the exchange is doing something, but recently it does not keep its words and admins can not be trusted, all launching projects for the last couple of years were just abandoned and forgotten.I had so many problems with Yobit, and I finally moved my assets from Yobit, what about you?
I do not trust anyone, including the exchange Yobit )) at the moment and earlier this exchange gave to earn money, if there will be problems with it, I will leave it, there are no problems and I will still be on this exchange, but I will note that this is not the only exchange on which I am, I am always in search of income.Yes, you are right, the trading volumes there are just terrible, I have assets there and I tried for 2 days to buy TRX tokens for only 500USDT and I had to change USDT to BTC to fully buy the amount of TRX I want, it's very sad that there are no volumes there, they appear there only when the exchange is doing something, but recently it does not keep its words and admins can not be trusted, all launching projects for the last couple of years were just abandoned and forgotten.I had so many problems with Yobit, and I finally moved my assets from Yobit, what about you?
I know you are investing and participating in Yobit monetization programs, do you think they will continue to exist and generate long-term profits for investors?
The future of Yobit will be the one that Yobit has been forging all these years, and personally it has never seemed like a promising future to me. I don't think OKX and Binance's limitations towards Russian customers will favor Yobit much, as Russian users are very familiar with that exchange. What could benefit Yobit is better customer service, proof of transparency with a reserve of funds in case of disaster, and generally making the exchange easier to use for novice users. Not serving a customer quickly is one of the worst things for a company and its reputation. This exchange is not for traders, although I write here as if I support the Yobit exchange, but this is not entirely true, I want to convey that you can earn money on it, on the contrary, without being a trader and this is one of the strongest sides of this exchange, I would consider others exchanges with approximate functionality, but I don’t know any.

In one of the threads of this forum I recently threw an example of how I earn there, it's not airdrop for 100 bucks)) I have already earned a few thousand there so to speak on the passive and such projects there all the time, so you just need to get into this exchange and then you will realize that you can earn not only on trading.
Are there many ways for users to earn something on the yobit exchange? I doubt it.
Of course, the yobit exchange sometimes held "airdrops" and other events where users could earn a couple hundred dollars. Correct me if I'm wrong, but yobit is in a lull in this regard now, as such activity has become quite rare.
I have nothing against Yobit, but it has always seemed like a very strange exchange to me. In addition to the terrible customer service they have (I experienced this many years ago) they have always acted on the “other side” of many things. My surprise was big in early 2016 when Yobit launched Lisk IOU tokens, causing many investors to get scared and ultimately not invest. It was also something that bothered the project owners and made them lose a percentage of the investment as expected. They could have solved this before simply by notifying those responsible for the project, but Yobit did nothing of that.I think Yobit should create an account on AltcoinsTalks and read community opinions carefully and come up with solutions to improve user experience and change marketing methods. At least that helps Yobit retain users and have more ideas for future development to compete for market share with other CEXs in the market.

The crypto market has gotten bigger, and the competition has gotten tougher, even Binance has lost market share to OKX, Bybit, Bitget... If Yobit doesn't act now, they may disappear from user's attention 😂
I think Yobit should create an account on AltcoinsTalks and read community opinions carefully and come up with solutions to improve user experience and change marketing methods. 😂Yobit exchange has its own crypto forum ))) I am on that forum and for some time I wrote there a lot and believe me, they wrote a lot about all the shortcomings of that exchange, I think they know everything, even know more than anyone else))))))

How long has the Yobit forum been running? Because I don't remember from 2014 to 2016, that was the period of time I used that exchange. Anyway, if things have changed and users now have the customer service they deserve, I'm happy for them. I wish it had been like this from the beginning, I'm sure they would have kept many users, including me.

You are right about the fact that each user uses what he wants, I may not want anything at all and want to lie on the ocean under an umbrella ))))I'm talking about the forum no other CT, he created about 2-3 years ago. there still paid for posts tokens exchange Yobit, they still pay now, but this token is now worthless, on the quality of support I think it did not affect the quality of support, it is still very bad )
Oh okay, for a moment I thought that Yobit had changed and could be a site where users were not abandoned :o. In fact, I went to the Yobit website looking for the forum and I thought it must be hidden since I couldn't find it.
As you said in one of your posts, Yobit is not for traders, I would say at least for "traditional" traders. But at the end of the day, each user uses the services they like.
You are right about the fact that each user uses what he wants, I may not want anything at all and want to lie on the ocean under an umbrella ))))Honestly, I still don't really understand how to make money easily on Yobit, I just buy and sell crypto to make profit.
I'm talking about where you can earn, there is a stock exchange Yobit and you can earn on it, there will be others with similar benefits,
I remember to earn on the exchange Citex, which few people knew about and I told you how I earned money there by mining cryptocurrency Filecoin FIL, I earned a lot there without doing anything,
It's the same with Yobit, you can earn money without doing anything).
Are you using Yobit? Will you continue to trust Yobit and be satisfied with all of Yobit's services?
Once upon a time, I participated in their sig campaign on the BTT forum and they were quite popular then, and then I promoted their ref link in the same way and thus I collected several hundred referrals. I was making money from them for a while, but I don't even remember the last time I visited that site.
Personally, I never had a problem with a single payment from there, but I remember that they had a very large withdrawal fee for Bitcoin, which was as much as 120 000 satoshis.
I can't say what their future is, but if they do business somewhere within the Russian Federation, I think they will survive for a long time, regardless of all the accusations I've read over the years.
Of course they will continue to survive in some way. Above all, because many users who use Yobit are new and see Yobit as an easy way to earn something. They have been accused of being scammers for years, but for example at BTT they still have a signature campaign, or at least they had one not long ago.
I don't know if you have read the entire thread, but if you have you will have been able to see my experience (and that of many other users) a few years ago, it is for these reasons that I can never recommend Yobit to anyone.
There is no campaign of theirs on BTT and it has been for years, the admin banned them completely due to the unbearable amount of spam created by their users. Their first campaign in which I participated was during 2016/17, and after that there was a new campaign that lasted during 2019 and ended at the beginning of 2020.
Of course I read it, and I'm also not one of those who would recommend someone to go there to trade because over the years I've seen dozens of accusations against them that have never been resolved. I just shared my personal experience with participation in the signature campaign and with earning from referrals, and I had no problems with that.
~snip~
If from the beginning Yobit had had more quality towards its users by having good customer service, maybe it would have a very different reputation today, but I think it's unfortunately already too late.
It always seemed to me that maybe 1 or 2 people were behind YoBit, because the first campaign on BTT was exclusively through automatic registration and payment. This means that it did not matter to them who promoted them, as well as the quality of the posts, which literally meant mass spam, but it was obvious that what mattered to them was quantity, not quality.I remember that Yobit promotional signatures were very popular in 2017 on BTT. Currently, another crypto forum also pays rewards in satoshi and their own token on Yobit. As you might have guessed, spam has taken place in the English forum so currently rewards are only paid for activities in the Russian forum.
Looking back, it seems that their reputation was never even important, which may have been unimportant 7-8 years ago, but today with so many options offered, people simply choose what has credibility among users.

It will be very difficult for us to identify the Yobit Dev team, they do not have any clear announcements, they want to remain anonymous and avoid legal problems. Anyway, Yobit is the only Russian CEX that I know and have used. I have now switched to other CEXs for better liquidity.
Anyway, Yobit is the only Russian CEX that I know and have used.
I also wanted to understand how Yobit continued to exist and gain users over the years 🤔
The Yobit team, if Yobit is made up of more than one person, has always been a mystery, and that's something we always asked each other when we talked in the exchange chat. There has never been an official presentation by Yobit, and I think they have always remained hidden so as not to receive criticism directly from users.Perhaps Yobit team has its own direction and the income from Yobit CEX is enough for them to continue maintaining their service. I have a feeling they no longer want to try to compete with other CEXs in the market despite having a few more features like DeFi, or they have been around for a long time but I only experienced it a few months ago.
If they don't do it so as not to receive criticism, why not make an official presentation?. I have always thought that making an official presentation of a team makes a project gain credibility and can increase its business, but it seems that they don't care much about that. Even if they want to remain anonymous, that is 100% impossible to achieve due to the domain registrations and other external services they use.
You've never used BTC-e? It was way more popular back then and with more volume. Plus the infamous trollbox chat!I heard about BTC-e but never used it, I don't want to have many problems managing accounts on multiple CEXs, just a few best options are enough for me to use and split the risk.
As for yobit I think they've lost most of their customers with the continuous release of virtual tokens that weren't available for on chain transactions but which you could "stake" for some unrealistic APY, that investbox plus the major FY they gave to their own community with the talk token probably pissed of a lot of people that just left and never looked back.
The mirage of earning while doing nothing via farming/investing which are basically the same disguised thing, random airdrops of tokens and so on, most see some huge numbers and returns there and are tricked into buying more with the idea that at one point it will have to go up.
But at the end of the day it's one guy who makes a few cents and a hundred that lose a dollar!

I have a feeling they no longer want to try to compete with other CEXs in the market despite having a few more features like DeFi, or they have been around for a long time but I only experienced it a few months ago.
The fact is that Yobit cannot compete with other CEXs, and I am not just talking about technically, at the volume level it cannot compete either. I don't know how Yobit is still in the market with its low volume, but it is still there after so many years, it may have a lot of funding and volume is not a problem after all. But what I do know is that it could be much greater in terms of reputation after all the years it has been in operation. Maybe one day we will know why they handled the exchange this way.Yeah, I also created a topic about Yobit's poor liquidity. This makes transactions difficult for users and is clearly not a good thing for Yobit's future. But it seems Yobit hasn't made any efforts to improve this, or their efforts haven't yielded results. I think Yobit just wants to survive, not grow and compete with other CEXs in the market.
So there are still using yobit despite of having too many open scam accusations, suspicious activities on their platform like the investbox, and too many to mentions. Yes they are based in Russia so i don't know if these users from Russia have issue on them or it just that those users outside Russia.I have never used those features as Invest Box, or have used them but have no clear impression of the profits gained from the features on Yobit. I also staked TALK tokens but the rewards from staking did not compensate for the price drop due to inflation. The surprising thing is that TALK does not have any other features or value besides staking. This weak tokenomics shows Yobit's unprofessional tactics in marketing. Yobit deserves to be forgotten ^^
About of then having an official rep here, i don't think so, they have made a forum no other CT.com which they use to cater some users issue but it end up being scarce and end their operations as users spams the forum.

Precisely I think that is the mistake that Yobit has been making for a long time, not making an effort to improve the exchange. Whether Yobit can survive or not is a matter of time and how its owners do things, but I don't think they will change their way of thinking or managing the exchange after so many years of doing everything the same way. Although, as I already said, they have not made an effort to improve, they have preferred to dedicate their time to creating a collection of worthless tokens. It is possible that the creators of Yobit want to ensure their anonymity to avoid problems with the Russian government. This could also be why they have not been able to launch any truly effective marketing campaigns like Binance, Bybit, and CoinEx have done. We will continue to monitor Yobit: if they continue to want to exist as a ghost in the market with junk tokens, that is their choice. Users will look for CEXs with better liquidity, more trading pairs, and more services!

Of course, Yobit owners will do what they want, I meant that it is a shame that an exchange with so many years in the industry has fallen so low and remains so forgotten. If they had improved the exchange and some customer-related policies, they would have a much larger market share than they have now. Something very similar happened to Poloniex, an exchange that at the time had a large market share and that after being bought by Justin Sun began to fall into oblivion, losing thousands of users in a short time. Who knows, maybe one day both exchanges will do something to regain the acceptance they had in the past.I really doubt their ability to make a comeback because we already have many better options like Binance, Bybit, Bitget, CoinEx... and users always choose CEXs that are well-known, reputable, have good liquidity, and have many trading pairs to use. They will not choose a small and forgotten CEX with extremely poor liquidity and a user-unfriendly interface like Yobit. I think all that Yobit can do is continue to exist until it disappears ::)
your so generous in that part being concerned about yobit, isn't this exchange have faced so many issue for years now? hope that there will be no much cases in this forum because in other forum there are lots.

Are you using Yobit? Will you continue to trust Yobit and be satisfied with all of Yobit's services?I use to have an yobit account and have tried using for a bit but that is the timing that when the yobit issues comes when they are locking those investment funds and so i instantly stopped using them and up to now .

Yeah, I agree that Yobit doesn't have KYC - that was a big advantage that I chose Yobit over Binance in 2017. And it seems like that was a mistake because I used to value anonymity too much over profit in this market!
The best part of yobit though is that you wtill could trade without KYC. The price sometimes diesnt to the real market price particularly BTC.
They do have Swap BTC/USDTb (BUSD) cheaper withdrawal fee. Sometimes I still use them.
Will you guys wear their signature if they are here?
in the other forum that i came from wearing their signature will definitely brings you in so much trouble but they are one of the most generous signature campaign that have run in the other forum paying their participants in bitcoin not in dollar, so asking if I will wear their signature? of course I will because those issues are accusations but never that i experienced their troubles .

Therefore, we can safely participate in Yobit's Signature campaigns without any concerns. As an investor, we have the right to sell our signature services for the highest price possible, as long as the associated projects are not scams.
However, I doubt Yobit will launch Signature campaigns in the future. Yobit has not run any marketing campaigns in the past few years, suggesting that it is no longer interested in reaching out to potential users.I agree with you and I also think that Yobit will not launch their signature campaign anytime in future.
I agree with you and I also think that Yobit will not launch their signature campaign anytime in future.Yeah, marketing is necessary but not enough to make a project successful. Yobit needs to make major changes to its token listing rules, user services and utilities, and partnerships with investment funds and new projects... I doubt this is possible because Yobit is a CEX that does not require KYC, which could make projects and investment funds worry about legal issues in the future.
They haven't spent a penny on marketing on forums a few years and they won't spend anything for marketing in future.
Even if they run their signature campaign, they'll still not get the desired results. Those who used them before will not think about using them again.
Their exchange is a poor one and those who have struggled with them in past would not even think about using them even if they get bonuses.

One of the things that attracts users to Yobit is that it does not require KYC, but at the same time this makes large companies and funds afraid to list on the exchange due to their fear of legal issues, as well as the fact that the exchange is Russian, which causes problems for many due to the sanctions.
The owners of Yobit have had enough time to do marketing and many other things, they are not new to the market, why they have not done it is another question. I think that after so many years, Yobit has found a niche within the market itself that is very close to their way of working, although I don't understand it 100%, as I have said in other posts, it seems that it still works for them, that's why they will probably never change the way they work. Many of the things Yobit does seem like barriers to business, but if the owners haven't changed those ways of working in so many years, maybe it's because they don't care at all, or are not interested for some reason. To expand its reach to more users, Yobit needs to change its business model and may need to require KYC from users. This could lead to more revenue but could also put Yobit at legal risk. Currently, there is no legal framework for crypto in Russia, and even their government does not have a clear position on crypto. This may be what is preventing Yobit from innovating.
Caution is perhaps the best thing that the Yobit team can continue to maintain, but they can completely innovate the interface to make Yobit faster and more user-friendly. I also don't like the existence of hundreds of shitcoins on Yobit, Yobit should refuse a bit of transaction fees to ensure a better user experience.Yes, the worst thing that Yobit users can face is the presence of hundreds of Shitcoins and also hundreds of dead coins that have no value at all, so a new user may find himself bankrupt if he buys one of these coins.
Yes, the worst thing that Yobit users can face is the presence of hundreds of Shitcoins and also hundreds of dead coins that have no value at all, so a new user may find himself bankrupt if he buys one of these coins.Liquidity on Yobit is very bad due to the decline in trading volume and the number of users. I think traders can only buy and sell BTC and ETH with good liquidity, the large slippage of other tokens can make it difficult for investors to manage their trading strategies on Yobit.
In addition to this, the prices of coins listed on Yobit differ from the market price. I remember that when I was working on the exchange, there was a significant difference in the prices of BNB, ETC, and many well-known coins from their real price in the market.
In addition to all of the above, new coins that Yobit creates every period of time and makes a bump on them and then their value becomes close to zero.

The question is why Yobit is going to change their business model, if they may not want to change it?. I mean, if they've done well over the years (we all have different ways of understanding what it means to perform well) they may not want or need to change the way they do things. We understand that a business must grow, expand and innovate to attract new users, but we don't believe that maybe they don't want to do it.The crypto market has great potential, and many companies also want to profit from it. Many new CEXs have emerged and developed strongly over the years, taking market share and attracting users from Yobit. It is a pity that I do not have enough data to compare trading volume or number of users on Yobit to see how its business is doing, I only see that the trading volume on Yobit right now is only $45M per day, down 22% from the end of 2023.
It is possible that it is due to the lack of legal regulation in Russia regarding cryptocurrencies and they do not want to risk it. But having a business for so many years operating in the same way and practically without changes, I don't think it is the best way to have a business either.
The last time I read news about regulations in Russia they said that this year a lot of things were going to change and cryptocurrencies would be accepted by the government, have they finally discarded that idea?.
I am really concerned about Yobit's future when it cannot convince domestic users in Russia with poor service, few trading pairs and not being strongly promoted.I've heard of Yobit but never used it. Its interface is rather unattractive and lacks many user-friendly features found on platforms like KuCoin and Binance. As a result, I haven't paid much attention to its liquidity, even though I'm aware that poor liquidity can contribute to a CEX downfall. A CEX with low liquidity often struggles to compete and grow.

Having worked in Russia, I was introduced to YoBit in the early days of my crypto journey. It was a pretty good platform to use until the rise of other top-tier CEXs such as Binance, Huobi, and KuCoin.
The best course of action for users is to leave Yobit and explore more reputable CEXs such as Binance, Bybit, Coinbase, and Kraken. It's unwise to entrust crypto assets to a subpar CEX with numerous issues like Yobit.
I've personally reduced my usage of YoBit significantly. Binance offers a more compelling proposition with a wider range of trading pairs, better liquidity, and numerous programs benefiting both holders and traders. I did revisit YoBit for a brief period to participate in an airdrop from a crypto forum, but that phase ended quickly. Now, YoBit is merely a nostalgic footnote in my crypto investment journey.I've seen their glory days and it was one of the known crypto exchanges before. Are they still a non-kyc exchange? Because with the popularity of binance and other exchanges nowadays, volume went low from this exchange. And their sketchy interaction with users have probably helped to decrease their popularity. I agree that its now one of the nostalgic footnotes of anybody and we're able to see such growth of each individual while they were there.

That's probably the only advantage I can see with Yobit, but unfortunately, I prioritize profits, so I've moved to better CEXs.
