Post by: tranthidung on December 25, 2023, 05:03:54 AM
There are many websites to check Bitcoin price, its price chart but if you are looking for a website with a most comprehensive all-time Bitcoin price history chart, there is only one and the best website for you.

What is it?

Let's see the chart first.

This is the most comprehensive all-time Bitcoin price history chart you will find online. Updated daily. The chart is interactive:

On 2009-10-05 the market price of Bitcoin is first established at $0.000764/BTC by New Liberty Standard, the first Bitcoin exchange ($1.00 buys 1309.03 BTC.) The exchange rate history is available at two archived pages: first (https://web.archive.org/web/20100428024753/http://newlibertystandard.wetpaint.com/page/2009+Exchange+Rate), second (https://web.archive.org/web/20100301174241/http://newlibertystandard.wetpaint.com/page/Exchange+Rate). Their last known exchange rate is $0.005472/BTC on 2010-03-02.

On 2010-04-25 the market price is established again at $0.003/BTC, using the daily volume-weighted trading price of the second Bitcoin exchange, BitcoinMarket.com (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin_Market) (PayPal USD trades (https://api.bitcoincharts.com/v1/csv/bcmPPUSD.csv.gz)). The owner, dwdollar, actually started operating it on 2010-03-17, however trading data for the first few weeks is—to my knowledge—not available.

After 2010-07-18 the exchange rate is from the CoinDesk BPI (https://www.coindesk.com/price/bitcoin/) v1 API (https://api.coindesk.com/v1/bpi/historical/close.json?start=2010-07-18&end=2022-05-17 (https://api.coindesk.com/v1/bpi/historical/close.json?start=2010-07-18&end=2022-05-17)).

After 2022-05-18 the exchange rate is from the CoinDesk BPI v3 API (https://www.coindesk.com/pf/api/v3/content/fetch/chart-api?query=...) because v1 has gaps in the data starting on that date.

Two exchanges New Liberty Standard, BitcoinMarket.com have their announcement threads in Bitcointalk too. Not surprised as the forum is very important place for first Bitcoin exchanges and Bitcoin community.

Do you know of any site that offers a fee chart (in Bitcoin)?
So what we have on mempool.space for example, but visualized through a chart.

Sorry but I don't get your question. Could you elaborate the question with more details on what you need, please.  ;D

Assume I understand your question, did you need a chart like this one?

I just found that the price chart is built by a person with some details and he has more works related to Bitcoin as well.

His blog: https://blog.zorinaq.com/. Use Bitcoin as a keyword for searching his blog articles on Bitcoin, here I just quote some.

From $32 to $1,000 and now we are discussing about $100,000. Price moves so fast!

Overview of Bitcoin Fee Tracker: https://dune.com/dataalways/bitcoin-fee-tracker
This is closest to what I'm interested in, thanks for this. I have no merit here to give you, just a bit of karma  ;)

It would be an ideal chart that would show the fee for each block.

So far the best I've found is the daily average fee, but expressed in USD.
