Title: Bitcoin price changes in the new year.
Post by: Bitcoin_people on January 03, 2024, 05:09:23 AM
We have seen the Bitcoin price touch $44k at the end of 2023 which is the highest ATH this year. But now we are in the year 2024 and the value of Bitcoin has increased tremendously, yesterday the value of Bitcoin reached $45800. Accordingly, we are looking for a bit of a bull season in the market and the way the price of Bitcoin is increasing before the halving, we can definitely say that the price of Bitcoin may move between $50k/$55k during the halving. Although the halving is not too long away, we can expect the price of Bitcoin to increase further before the halving.

Do you think Bitcoin will be able to reach this level before the halving, or will the value of Bitcoin increase or decrease further?

Well, I personally think that, everything about the price of bitcoin is at the moment much centered on whether the spot ETF will get approved or not, and according to some sources online, it is speculated that the first set of Bitcoin spot ETFs will be approved on the 10th of January this year, and this I believe could be the reason for the sharp price increase of bitcoin as soon as we entered the new year.

In conclusion though, not very many people are talking about the coming bitcoin halving, the ETF is right now acting as the main catalyst that will determine the price of bitcoin even before halving happens, if the ETF is approved on the 10th of January as speculated, then we might see the price of bitcoin close to $100,000 even before the halving , or if I should be more conservative, I would say $60,000 to $70,000 before we finally arrive at the halving period.

I am very happy about the way bitcoin behaves these days. I newly joined the industry you can hardly predict the Bitcoin but this time around bitcoin is almost predictable by everyone. I don't know if it is because of the fact that things have changed or because of the fact that I have learned more and I am more exposed to information compared to when I was a newbie.
Few months ago when bitcoin was in the range of 15,000 I have said that if the bull run of this year should be very very effective it therefore means that the price of Bitcoin must leave that range and get closer to 50,000. Now it has happened we are very much prepared for the upcoming bull run.

It is true that the news of Bitcoin ETF is gradually dominating the news space. We should not overlook the effect of halving. If ETF fails, halving will help bitcoin price.

In my opinion, you should focus on price of Bitcoin after the halving. Months after the halving to be more exactly, because historically Bitcoin makes its new all time highs several months after its halving.

Bitcoin can reclaim the 2021 all time high before or after the halving, and the bottom line that is important for your portfolio is, don't time the market. You must simply hold your bitcoin, secure your wallet and your wallet backups, and wait for the market movement. That's it, the market moves with its own operations, you can not interupt it.

To many discussion about ETF but they forget about that it has a chance to get denied and same with other past denial happen it could happen to that date mentioned since government handle that is not actually open for Bitcoin for now.

Maybe this one can cause some trouble and can trigger a dump if disapproval will happen so much better if we prepare for something and think about more realistic way. Although the figures you have given is pretty much achievable and I guess that is the figure that near to come with bitcoin.

I believe the saying "history repeat itself" in terms of Bitcoin halving. If we are going to look back at the chart of Bitcoin halving from first to third, there was decreasing of price before it goes up. And I believe that this will also happen to this upcoming halving of Bitcoin.

I think now the answer is pretty much clear TBH. What a market bleeding that took place. As always, I will say this again, Whatever goes up, comes down for sure.
It could be another dump before BTC bounce back up to create a new record in this new year. But it will be interesting to see what happens next. BTC seems to have created a stable position around 43/44k.
Maybe it will go up or will stay low until the bull run begins.

I go for 55k to 60k. Few days ago we saw how fast and effortless they can pump and dump Bitcoin price. From 40k pumped to 45k without difficulties just triggering point to send the price up. Same goes with regards to decrease, it can be drastically dump even just a single (major) news to effect all cryptos because of BTC sidelines.

What would it be?

News about banning Bitcoin and Cryptos, disabling transaction from different wallets, governments announce regulations and taxes, hacking incidents, and many more negative news.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin triggering point is no other than always positive major major news.

At the beginning of the new year we saw the price of Bitcoin touch 45 thousand dollars and to catch it is the highest price for last year and this year. Bitcoin reached $45k early on so we think Bitcoin may be signaling a positive move again. Compared to every other year, the movement of Bitcoin seems different because every year Bitcoin market is negative but this year Bitcoin market along with some other coins market is positive. It wouldn't be surprising if the market reached $50,000 this year. We investors may have been waiting for a long time for the market to touch $50k and it looks like it will happen very quickly.

However, if SEC denies the approval, we might see a drop below 42k before the halving since weak hands that bought because of ETF approval news will sell of their bitcoin. It is after the halving that I am expecting a good price should incase SEC continue with their empty promises on approving bitcoin ETF. What you should focus more is how to take advantage of the market based on the current price to stash up your portfolio.

Yes. I think there are high chances of Bitcoin price reaching at least $50k before halving.  I am even expecting much higher than 50K because halving is a big event for bitcoin and if we see the history of bitcoin and previous halvings. we saw big price changes before and after halving.
one thing is confirm that Bitcoin and Crypto market going to be very volatile in these days until after halving. I think market will stabilize after 2, 3 months of halving. it is better to stay vigilant until then.

I don't know why before the halving had to ask this, could it be because it behaved on the ETF approval so it said before the halving?

In my opinion, you should focus on price of Bitcoin after the halving. Months after the halving to be more exactly, because historically Bitcoin makes its new all time highs several months after its halving.
In fact, there is no history where Bitcoin reached ATH before the halving was getting closer, all the history is that it was after the halving several months, so that's what needs to be asked about speculation and future price predictions, we believe it will definitely rise and become a new ATH again, but From after the halving we wait how many months, no one will ever know.

Let's take the example of the previous cycle, what happened historically, I am now more focused on the portfolio which will continue to grow, now prices are still quite low because in the future we will see high prices so don't miss out.

Right now, if I look at its support and resistance, it can be said that we are still really bullish, and what the whale investors are probably targeting now is 48 000$ up to 50 000$ this month, according to my analysis, which is visible based on what I read in the chart. Though I am not saying it is 100$ accurate, it could be something like that.

But of course, no one can predict the future, and everyone knows that in this type of business industry as well. Just let's hope for the best and continue to do the DCA in spinning cryptos or Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has a way of doing its thing, as you are expecting the price to go between $50k and $55k, don't be surprised when the price goes above that but I think the way Bitcoin performs depends on how everyone is bullish and the condition of the market. The only thing everyone is looking up to is Bitcoin ETF and the money that will flow in from the institutional investors, if that happens and gets approved, Bitcoin is going to do wonders in new prices before the halving and after the halving but overall, I believe bitcoin is going to do wonders.

Yes. I think there are high chances of Bitcoin price reaching at least $50k before halving.  I am even expecting much higher than 50K because halving is a big event for bitcoin and if we see the history of bitcoin and previous halvings. we saw big price changes before and after halving.

Not every time history repeats the same thing, the last bull run was influenced by Elon Musk's presence and this year so far, what I'm seeing is ETF is the only growth contribution I have seen which can be stopped or allow to pass, if this is manipulated and get rejected by the Security exchange commission, we are going to see market correction and we might not see new time high a we expected sooonest.

Well, I think it is too early to give a prediction about bitcoin now, I know things are looking good for this, but I think we should at least wait for the first quarter to see how it behaves, 2024 may be much busier. bitoin because it can make a bullish movement, because of the halving, because of the approval of certain ETFs, although they are looking for a way to delay all this, but Bitcoin has great strength to settle as it is, I believe that now things can go the other way. correct way once ETFs are approved, which is not, at some point it cannot and should not be considered for them to be approved, otherwise I don't see the point in things being seen in the correct way.

I believe that by 2024 things can turn out for the better, and although the last ath is for almost $70k, it can be improved, the current price is in a very good position, I don't know but in this period until 10 January was going to review the ETFs that had not been approved and even though the SEC is doing everything possible to prevent them from being approved, this will be a battle that in the end bitcoin will win.

Even yesterday the price of Bitcoin experienced a significant decline. but currently the price of Bitcoin has started to rise again. However, the price of Bitcoin is volatile so it will still go up and down according to conditions or trends in the crypto market.

Because usually any issue or news related to the card will have a big influence on the price of Bitcoin. or for example, there are certain events which in fact many people then sell instead of them, this will also definitely affect the price of Bitcoin. What is certain is that we don't panic when the price of Bitcoin drops. In fact, that is a moment for us to increase the amount of Bitcoin if we have the funds to increase the accumulation again. But if you don't have it, just leave it alone, usually after there is a market correction, the price of Bitcoin will gradually rise again. So don't panic.

The price of Bitcoin this year will be nothing much than the range between 50-55k because of the close halving around the corner. Although it's actually my own speculation and am not sure about the price but that's what we all do as no one knows the exact price.

I voted for the $50k - $55k option, because this is the number I expect the Bitcoin price to reach before the very close halving in a few months.

Of course, this is my opinion because the performance of Bitcoin in the recent period at the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024 gives an indication that it will continue to rise to this level before the halving, and after that it is expected that the rise will continue after the halving until we reach 100K$, as everyone hopes.

This is the expected scenario, but I do not rule out that something could happen that would lead to this scenario failing and something unexpected happening.

I don't dare to assume it is higher than 60k$, where the market situation is not the same as the previous halving, where if there is negative news the market immediately falls, and needs recovery for a long time, especially now that BTC has no clarity about its ETF, hopefully there will be good news about it approval on January 10, Bitcoin could reach a new high this year

I expect that until April, when Bitcoin halving is due to occur, its price will continue to rise and fall many times over. But in general, by this time it may well rise to 50-55 thousand dollars. Of course, its price will be significantly affected by whether spot ETFs are approved on January 10th. There are different opinions on this matter and there is a high probability that this will not happen in January. But with or without an ETF, Bitcoin will increase in value by the end of this year.

The value of bitcoin is heavily influenced by the decision to accept or reject the bitcoin ETF. If the ETF is rejected, many believe that there will be a collapse, rather than a drawdown. On the other hand, if the ETF is postponed, we may see a drop in value. Regardless of the decision made, it is expected that the value of bitcoin will increase by the end of the year.

The price of Bitcoin has risen sharply since the end of 2023, and many investors have held Bitcoin.  Because bitcoin halving is in 2024 because bitcoin halving will definitely increase the price of bitcoin.  With the hope that holders will start hoarding bitcoins, I hold bitcoins for a long-term hold of two years until 2025.  If Bitcoin reaches 100,000 dollars then massive benefits will surely be gained.
There is a high probability that Bitcoin price will touch $50000 in January 2024.  Bitcoin ETFs are highly likely to be approved.

If I am not mistakenly we have less than 98 days to halving and over the time we have seen several changes in bitcoin price, so there is everyone possibility for the price to get to $48k to $55k before starts. Nevertheless, this new year actually changed the price of bitcoin maybe could be that the new of ETF is affecting the price.

It's intriguing that you believe the price this year will likely fall between $50,000 and $55,000. Do you believe there are other reasons that could affect the price, or do you think this is due to the impending halving?

I see here that there are still 106 days left to the Halving: https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/
But that time is uncertain depending on later block confirmations and currently only 824653 is still a long way to 840000 blocks.

There will definitely be changes especially now that there is a lot of news about ETFs that will be approved although this is still a lot of speculation, whatever happens if it is approved then the price may go up, but if not the price may range below $50K.
Price determination after halving where it can be ATH but have to wait until the time comes.

If we want to talk about bitcoin price before the halving, this will be determined by ETF approval by SEC. If SEC finally approves ETF before the halving, it means that bitcoin price will skyrocket and we might be seeing 60k before the halving because it is based on this news that controls the price of bitcoin temporary. The passing information is that the price increase or decrease of Bitcoin will be if the SEC approves or rejects the Bitcoin ETF, which will determine the fate of the bitcoin price before the halving. That's indirectly saying that, let every crypto investor focus on that because any approval or rejection by the SEC will highly hit the crypto market either positively or negatively way, depending on the SEC's final verdict.

Whatever results we get to receive from the SEC, whether good or bad will be acceptable to us all because we believe in the potential of bitcoin not to be placed on any governing body's acceptance or rejection before it excels in price.

Bitcoin is giving a new ATH whether SEC gets bitcoin ETF approve or not. And almost every bitcoin investor will choose to hodl their bitcoin till months after the halving or 2025. So whatever judgment SEC gives towards bitcoin ETF wouldn't change people plans of hodling bitcoin till their expected price of bitcoin actualizes.

The value of BTC depends on the approval of ETFs and I just got the news that the chances are very low for ETFs to be approved but still somewhere in my mind I have this feeling that the first ETF will be rejected which could create hype in the market and market will dump but a relaxation will be made for upcoming ETF's proposals like for BlackRock etc. and they will be approved.

In any case, what I am trying to say is, that manipulation will be at peak and the market will be so hot that it will be changing numbers like a Formula One racing car changing speed number.

Even if the ETFs are rejected I think after a huge dump market will recover back to $40k at least due to its hype as ETFs are not the only thing making hype there are many other factors involved too.

There is very little left until we know that the Bitcoin ETF is approved and this will generate very good news for everyone, I think that now is a good time to do some Hodl, I don't think things will go wrong in bitcoin, many things can be done if we see that the price is going to go up, everyone is waiting for this move, I would like to see the price at $50k it would be a total madness to see that they can do something like this, plus it is a new year with halving included, so things are not So bad, it can be verified that anything can be done with all possible clarity so that they buy from now, whoever buys from now could tomorrow see an increase in their investment at the time that the ETF is approved.

If not, I think that at some point the SEC has to stop the war and accept that things are inevitable, and that sooner or later it must be approved, this goes far beyond any apparent technology, it is bitcoin, it is the future, it is This is what money will represent in a few years.

The price of bitcoin is already around $48k today and it seems everything is just playing out easily and fast. I do not understand what is happening. I could remember when bitcoin was around 50k and later crashed, if someone told me that bitcoin price will get back again to 50k, I will not believe. This industry is very margical and many millionaires should actually emerge from this industry.
The ETF approval is a big deal in the cryptocurrency industry and it will make big wave in the industry when the time comes.

When did Bitcoin ETF start to speak for Bitcoin price? If not that they are calling it adoption, I would prefer SEC reject all the application and don't grant it but it will be wicked of me to said that, if ETF is accepted which is most likely tomorrow, there is going to be millions and billions of dollars that are going to be flooding into bitcoin because of the demands that will be coming from the institutional investors but this might be a short term wave.

The real movement of the Bitcoin bullrun is going to come after the halving when everyone is going to be anticipating for next all time high but my fears is what is going to happen after all this price predictions, I'm afraid that most of the people dragging the price upward are doing so for their own benefits and selfish interest, when the hype is over, there is going to be a lengthy sell off.

50k is the next target , the barricade stays on that level and i thought Bitcoin will broke that price in 2023
but suddenly it stays bellow and now that we are near halving I assume that within January 2024 bitcoin will take that 50k sooner
but not sure if 55k will be possible at any chance of time.

Quote
Do you think Bitcoin will be able to reach this level before the halving, or will the value of Bitcoin increase or decrease further?
try not to expect so much mate because sideways happens mostly , the more we expect things here in crypto?
we are mostly losing that expectation so try not to frustrate yourself then.

Investors were focused squarely on whether the US securities regulator would soon approve a spot Bitcoin ETF, which would open up the Bitcoin market to millions of investors and attract millions of dollars. So what interesting events

Bitcoin is currently just above $45,000. From all past lines and all things considered, I think the price of Bitcoin will break $80k or higher by the end of 2024. After that the market is likely to go down. Those who are very smart type of investors must have invested in Bitcoin and they are waiting for the upward momentum of the bull market.

In late 2023, the price of Bitcoin touched 44, but only in January of 2024, the price of Bitcoin reached its highest point. Up to $48,969 on January 1st, here we see a huge change as 2024 is the Bitcoin halving. According to the opinion of experts on this day, the price of Bitcoin will hit the maximum level, and some people mentioned that the price of Bitcoin will definitely exceed 1.20 hundred thousand dollars. Right now there are a lot of investors who have invested a lot of money in Bitcoin.

Well, Bitcoin halving is just around the corner; there are just three months to go, and these three months are easy to say on the mouth, but it's still very possible that Bitcoin can really archive a high price before the halving takes place. From your poll, I have chosen $55k–$60k. I feel convinced that the price of Bitcoin will really be in the range of $50k and above during the halving month. Although I am not very certain because the Bitcoin price can be very dynamic and unpredictable, Another thing I feel more sure of is that Bitcoin is not going back below $40k.

We just have a minor drawback though, after the approval of Bitcoin Spot ETF has been released, the price suddenly goes to $42k-$43k and we have speculated that there could be manipulation behind this price movement.

Regardless though, we still have the block halving coming up in April, the catalyst for a bull run. So we will have to wait for it to happen and then gradually see some good movement and perhaps we will exceed $50k this year and reach at least our least previous all time high of $69k and then next year, that 6 digits that we all have been waiting for.

I don't think all the big players like Blackrock would even bother with filing that ETF application if they didn't know there will be a big demand for it. So I'm fairly confident that this will have a significant effect, even if it's stretched over a longer time.
And if the demand for all those ETFs overlaps with the "normal", post-halving pump (resulting from the 4-year cycle pattern) then breaking the $100k barrier sounds very plausible.

Bitcoin popularity is growing continuously but total supply of bitcoin is not changing so we can easily thinking that the price of bitcoin will increase a lot but we Can't see any change in the new year i have thought that the price of bitcoin will increase more or less in the starting year because there have some good news for increasing the price but we had seen no change in the new year. Also some countries and region accept bitcoin as legal currencies but we have seen no price changes in the recent years. So i think it is necessary to increase the bitcoin price in the recent times.

I have clicked 55-60 range but I think 50-55 range is also quite possible, if there was a 50-60 range I would say that is exactly what I think it will be this year. This is of course peak, doesn't mean that at 31st of December that would be the price, I am not saying that, but SOME point of the year, it will go beyond 50k, how much I do not know, maybe 51k, maybe 59k, but that will be the case for it without a doubt. I know that its not that easy to predict, so I am just holding and waiting. Could it drop by the end of the year? I do not think so, I believe that the price will keep on growing the more we get closer to the market top, that seems like the most likely outcome.

Do you think Bitcoin will be able to reach this level before the halving, or will the value of Bitcoin increase or decrease further?
The Bitcoin market has been bullish since late 2023 and early 2024, but the market is currently dumping. We saw the Bitcoin Market ETF reach a high of $48,969 on approval. But currently Bitcoin market is dumping to $40683. Based on the current position, I can say that the market may not go higher before the Bitcoin halving.

and indeed for now it seems like Bitcoin's downward trend will continue. and some even predict that Bitcoin prices will drop below $40k again. This may be bad news for some people because after all many of us are short Bitcoin. and of course this is beyond our expectations after the approval of the Bitcoin ETF. However, this is indeed how the Bitcoin market is going based on analysis of crypto market indicators. It is likely that there will be a continuous significant decline.

But what is certain is that don't make us panic because no matter what, this phase will definitely end and when we get to the halving it will start to climb again. We really have to be more patient so as not to be influenced by various negative issues in the market
