I have 5 altcoins in my folio now of course majority is from bitcoin .

what about yours? is there anything that you can share for others to look at? because maybe its best for us all to share for the coming season.

Majority of my holdings is also go with bitcoin since I'm speculating for a good pumps to happen especially that we are in halving season. I also have BNB,SOL,RON and Wemix since this is the coins which I think have potential to have a good growth this year.

Although I'm not expecting huge pump for Wemix but I just tried to gamble since I hear that this is a good coin to have so who knows maybe it could pump so let see the result in future.

I don't collect many coins at the moment, I only rely on old coins which have experienced a decline, I hope the coins I have can give me the same profit as in 2020-21.

The altcoins that I own are BNB, XLM, XRP and SOL
want to collect EGO, ARB and sei but I'm not sure if they will take me to the moon or not at the next halving

After Halving, I will probably stop DCA BTC and switch to DCA Altcoins. I don't want to take much risk so I will only invest in  top and native coins of main blockchains: ETH, BNB, ADA. I believe cross-chain is our future so ATOM and DOT are also on my radar :)

SOL and AVAX are really attractive but their prices are already quite high compared to the 2023 bottom, I don't want to risk it.

In addition, some new coins such as APT, SEI, SUI, OP, ARB are also present in the watchlist, I think 10 altcoins are enough for me to manage and invest in 2024.

Aah, halving is always the moment you have been waiting for. Not only about Bitcoin but also altcoin season. Bitcoin remains the main investment here. but for altcoins, I think I will only go to a few of the top altxoins so far. ETH and BNB for sure. However, because the price is quite high, not many people have it. Next is to choose top coins whose price is still under $1. such as Matic, XRP, ADA, and TRX.

That's right, now is the time to buy or save coins before the price goes up.. now many altcoins are popping up but many are also scams, so be careful in choosing the coins you want to buy.. I think altcoins are very good for making big profits but Don't make the wrong choice, here we have to know the coin information. whether the coin will be successful in the future or not. For now I am refraining from buying altcoins due to lack of capital.

I'm also holding both BTC and some top altcoins, also with me BTC is my majority but the others altcoins I'm holding now are also putting smile on my face because I'm impressed of their performance lately. But they are still some altcoins that haven't pumb yet that will end skyrocketing too. And I'm still doing DCA so that In my partaking in the next bull run my profit Will be remarkable

About half of my total portfolio is in Bitcoin.
I also have 3 altcoins that's in the top 10-50 (ATOM, CRO, TIA). 3 altcoins are in the top 51-100 (SNX, SUI, AKT).

I distributed my money into different altcoins because I believe that we are in a phase where the market is preparing for the upcoming bull run. Of course, I might be wrong, but I believe that the altcoins I bought will have a significant increase when the bull run comes. I didn't buy anything from the top 10 aside from Bitcoin because the upside compare to the lower market cap altcoins are lower thus, lesser profit for me though it's safer.

Overall, diversification is always a good strategy, but don't overdiversify especially if you have a low capital.

correct , SOL have passed the price now and if you not happened to invest few months ago then it is indeed in High price now.

I have been watching Arbitrum  so yeah agree on this one , actually I am planning to add 2 more altcoins so I'll take a deep look on that lists.

Thanks for the heads up.

Having assets in the form of Bitcoin is the right choice because the price movement is quite stable only in Bitcoin, whereas in altcoins the price movement depends on the product owned. As long as the product is very good and is used by many people, it will provide quite a lot of results. However, the altcoin you own seems very difficult to increase because the product they have is not really used by the public.

Good to have other alternative options rather than choosing only one particular coin since you will get dull waiting for your single coin investment. That's why its good to have other altcoin since it will add the thrill and we can possibly earn a lot for having them on our portfolio.

But we make sure to have those top altcoins in the market since below than that well maybe we can get questionable growth and that is totally risky for us especially if the price of those token dump.

I don't know where the confidence came from that the altcoin season will start after halving season, but the Dominance indicator: BTC: 52.7% says the opposite and it declines as soon as Bitcoin stops rising, so the altcoin season will be at the end of 2024 or the first or second quarter of 2025. As the price of Bitcoin tends to stop rising insanely, it is an ideal opportunity to invest in altcoin.

In other words, if you want to know when the altcoin season begins, watch the Dominance indicator, and any percentage less than 40% to 45% is a buy signal.

I think all season happen on every year I mean when they start to pump high rather than from the previous month

I found this image and October seems always make couple of crypto touch a higher low so q3 is the best to sell our alt.

back to the topic tho I would consider the top 50 market-cap is not including the memcoin and stablecoin some old coins like litecoin cardano have prove themselves to stand out till this date. so i would prefer coin like this

It cannot be denied that when it comes to halving, it does not only impact the price of Bitcoin. But also on altcoins. and of course there will be many altcoins that may be able to survive and ultimately experience a significant increase, so that expectations can also be in line with or more than last season's ATH.

Some lists are:
1. ETH
2. BNB
3. XRP
4. MATIC
5. ADA

That's a pretty big hope for me, even though in fact I still have a lot of altcoins in my wallet but I don't know if they can rise again or not. ha ha

No one will have answers to your questions because you are asking: How can we make you rich without effort? Therefore, a little risk is necessary. Investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum will give good results due to the low probability that the price will against altcoin, some of which may reach zero.

Polygon MATIC
Uniswap UNI
Curve DAO Token CRV
exchange tokens seem like good options to me

This is not investment advice.

Each person has their own taste about tokens in this market:
+ Bitcoin or Altcoins.
+ Project type: Layer 0 – 1 –2 – 3.
+ Field: platform, infrastructure, Defi, GameFi, RWA, DEPIN, AI...
+ Value: native tokens, protocol tokens, memes, NFTs…

There is no best option for everyone, each investor needs to know their own risk and profit appetite to plan appropriate asset management and generate the most profit.

In other words, if you want to know when the altcoin season begins, watch the Dominance indicator, and any percentage less than 40% to 45% is a buy signal.
BTC.Dom has increased continuously over the past year. I think BTC will lose its appeal when it surpasses 61.8% (this number is the golden ratio and I only refer to it from a subjective point of view), which is a good time for us to start gradually shifting our investment to altcoins to get better profits.

I don’t have any altcoin in specific that I will tell others to buy agent the upcoming bull run because of the nature of altcoins. But with diligence research about them, their team, project scopes you’ll know the one that will perform well this coming bull run. Bitcoin should be your priority and should take upto or more than 50% of your holdings, it could be the one that will compensate for some loss that will be incurred from other altcoins you’ve invested into for the bull run. Always do your own research before going into any investment even though you’re told that the investment will do well.

Just as we keep an eye on Bitcoin's pump after the halving, we should also keep an eye on other altcoin projects as some might definitely give good profit. I will be keeping an eye on ripple, BNB  and SoL for this coming halving by accumulating good amount. I think they might make impressive price impact, but more of my investment would be towards Bitcoin.

There are too many altcoins to monitor; it's better for you to choose just a few altcoins that you think have very good projects and have a lot of users, and after that, you monitor them. The supply of altcoins you own is also one of the determinants of altcoin price movements, as is the case on Solana. The price was still very cheap at the beginning, but now it is very expensive.

There are altcoins that does not need Halving to make their way up like what SOL does recently but of course hitting New ATH is on the table so this is what we are all preparing now , my Holdings composes of oldschool altcoins and bitcoin that I have been trusting over the years and keeps giving me profit in safer way this is why I rarely invest and even holding new projects.

Apart from bitcoin, the only coin that I will invest in is Etherum because it has been in the market for long and has a better chance of giving profit to her investors. The PoS alogarithm of ether makes it more better than the rest altcoins. It is better that you make research on any coin that you want to invest so that you don't end up buying coins that their value will go to zero.

If you're having bitcoin and then followed by some numbers of altcoins in your portfolio, then it will say you've already made a wise decision by staying safe, out of other coins you've invested, some will perform well while some may not, but when we make research about altcoins and choose the ones that have good market performance to help have more at the course of the bullrun, they will definitely rise and make the best of it all through the season of bullrun after the halving might have taken place

What you say is right, ethereum is a coin that has been traded on the market for a long time and is the first coin to have an ERC20 network. if we invest in ethereum coins, that's good advice, but we have to know that the price of ethereum coins has now reached $2300, you have to have a lot of capital, whereas investing in altcoins doesn't require that much capital, we can invest even a little capital, it's just that altcoins are now full of fraud, you have to be careful- Be careful not to choose the wrong coin.

I own several altcoins in several categories. Like the layer 1 category Altcoins that I hold are Avax and ETH and others. and Layer 2 I hold Arbitrum and Matic. And my Ai category holds Agix and a few others. Basically I spread my capital across several altcoin categories. Because I don't know for sure which one will be the most hyped in the bull run market after the bitcoin halving. So diversification is needed in this case. Recently I also became interested in XLM.

Specific altcoins for the next halving season can vary, but considering established projects with solid fundamentals like Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), and Cardano (ADA) might be prudent. Diversification is key, and sharing insights on promising altcoins can be beneficial for the community to explore opportunities in the upcoming bullish season.

As for me, my majority is altcoins, not cryptocurrency. I am a practical person, especially since I have a goal to buy a house and lot, a secondhand vehicle, and a microbusiness here in the local place where I live.

Of course, I calculated the amount that can be saved in a few months, how many Bitcoins I can save, and how I will make a DCA based on my monthly income. I found that I couldn't handle it if I just focused on Bitcoin to accumulate. Yes, I can get a profit, but it will not reach the amount that I will spend on the target if I buy.

Your trading method is quite good because it only focuses on a few coins that have potential and have clear products, so the price development of these coins is very profitable. All you need to do is wait longer to get maximum profits.

Of course, people expect much on the Bitcoin halving. People believe it will trigger the prices of altcoins to increase significantly as well.
Yes, I have bought some altcoins in the last year. Most of them are the top altcoins, but not for the meme coins or stable coins. I assume the top altcoins will be the best options to hold for the next bullrun season.

I also have some altcoins.
Most of my funds are invested in ETH, BNB, ADA, SOL, DOT, MATIC, XLM.
But I also bought other altcoins for the additional assets in altcoins.

Actually i don't want to buy any altcoins at this moment but i have bought some altcoins which are profitable now. In fact most of the time top altcoins are preferred and top altcoins rise in price during bull markets. So all new and old investors want to hold top altcoins especially for long time. Besides people buy tokens according to their needs and preferences due to the variety of investments.

When you look at how you have limited altcoins, it is a smart step to have altcoin assets because not all altcoins have high prices and not all altcoins have a bright future, so with altcoins, you have to be careful because they have high risks. A long time of holding altcoins does not provide a guarantee that they will rebound or provide profits.

and Layer 2 I hold Arbitrum and Matic.
Many people talk about Layer 2 Ethereum from blockchain Arbitrum and it seems that Arbitrum is very popular with various well-known investors.
I don't yet understand the function of Arbitrum because there are so many features provided for Layer 2 Ethereum projects.
Why did you choose Arbitrum for the best coin after the Halving?
Are you a holder of Arbitrum shortly after listing on the cryptocurrency market?
Or maybe you are part of the core team of the Layer 2 Ethereum project on the Arbitrum network?

Previously, I preferred to buy altcoins, both old and new, the main thing is that they should be at least minimally promising and not be forgotten. At the same time, I always tried to buy them at low prices. For example, recently I believed in lightclines and bought them for most of my portfolio. But then I realized that now it was necessary to buy little-known altcoins, like XAI, SUI, Solana - because unlike litecline, they had the potential to grow due to their fresh status and hype. But I was already too late to buy them. I'm waiting for low prices.

Anticipating in the past by having saved is certainly something that is very good compared to maybe just doing it now, although it is not worse to do it than not taking any action at all to make an investment.
It can't be avoided that what you said is that top-ranking altcoins are still very attractive investments to keep pursuing. I think investing with a small number of holdings will be better than holding many options because it is difficult to monitor movements.
Remember that the halving era will soon occur, and don't miss out on continuing to save so you can enjoy the results later.

what about yours? is there anything that you can share for others to look at? because maybe its best for us all to share for the coming season.
Halving is not not directly related to Altcoins. it is solely about bitcoin. but if Bitcoin price pumped by a lot then trends in altcoin market will also change in positive directions. we are not sure if that will happen or not but everyone is expecting and speculating a lot about that.
I myself also expecting some positive price increase in bitcoin and altcoin market. so I also have some Altcoins In my wishlist which I want to buy before halving in hoping to earn some profit
Here are my list:
Solana
BNB
Ethereum
TRX
Avalanche
Litecoin
Polygon
TRX
these are the altcoins i think can perform good in upcoming halving season. NFA.

The plan which we can do, I think just buy and hold if you are a holder .
I suggest you can buy top 10 coins, I think they are good choice for investment.
If you have more money, you can buy top 20 coins.
I personally invest in bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, SOL, DOT, cardano.
Those are my favourite coins.

When a lot of expectations are drawn to bitcoin and altcoin investment because of the upcoming bitcoin halving, there are chance that many people will invest in bitcoin and other altcoins with borrowed money, selling their properties, and so on, in an attempt to profit from bitcoin and altcoins investment.

To have a measured investment that will generate rewards for you, no matter how small, you should invest what little you have and not place too much expectations in bitcoin or any other altcoin mentioned to you that you finally decide to invest in.

After the Bitcoin halving, there is a time that we are really looking forward to, namely the bull run. and of course Bitcoin is the main coin that we must have in preparation for this era.

Apart from Bitcoin, maybe I also have several coins that I hope will really increase rapidly in the bull run era. but for altcoins themselves, we really need to diversify specifically for altcoins. some of them: ETH, BNB, MATIC, and XRP which are already in Wallet. I decided to have these coins because one of them was reading considerations from various members on the forum. and indeed these four coins are indeed top coins and there is no doubt about it. Even though they still have risks, at least the risks are lower than if they weren't top coins.

Yes, I think that is solid enough for the next halving, maybe I'm a big fan of ADA so I will add it to my list and then SOL.

And it's good to see that investors here are getting smarter, for me I don't invest on meme coins, perhaps because of the risk and you really have to monitor them as it could be used by some p&d groups.

Still plenty of time for us to invest on some solid altcoins, majority of them are still down so it's not that late, we still have months before the halving and the official bull run.

-snip-
But then I realized that now it was necessary to buy little-known altcoins, like XAI, SUI, Solana - because unlike litecline, they had the potential to grow due to their fresh status and hype. But I was already too late to buy them. I'm waiting for low prices.
Depending on who supports them, XAI, SUI, Solana are supported by Binance so that it has promising developments.
XAI is a fairly new coin because a few days ago it was listed on Binance, it also provided quite a lot of airdrop to the community.

There are many new Altcoins emerging that have the development and backup of large companies.
Like TIA which is also quite phenomenal by providing Airdrops to the community up to hundreds of thousands of percent and directly listing on Binance.
I am also becoming a potential altcoin hunter now and this will still continue.

The first investment made is, as you said, adjusted to one's own economy to determine whether there are indeed excess funds that are unused for at least a long period because it is adjusted to the crypto investment situation that demands this. But if you have expertise in trading, of course there is added value in being able to do it for the short term, which is a very good situation, although of course with high risks. For long-term investment, I definitely agree that Bitcoin is the main choice, but if you want altcoins, of course ethereum, BNB, and Sol can also be considered, especially since the halving era will soon occur.

I think its crucial choose for some one still not stable their financial condition have to earn much profit in daily day and investing in bitcoin as short term investment only. Have viewed with economic condition will have good ideas when making short or long term investment in bitcoin or cryptocurrency?

Probably have positive side with long term investment, we can earn much profitable in the future when bitcoin increasing drastically or top potential altcoin has opportunity getting up drastically.

I hodl

LTC
Doge

These coins are not very popular to hold for a long time. Specifically for Doge, it is meme coin that has no fundamental for the future. Some people even state that the hype of Doge is over. So, it is too risky to hold Doge for our investment. Why do you choose it for the next altcoins season?

Just as we keep an eye on Bitcoin's pump after the halving, we should also keep an eye on other altcoin projects as some might definitely give good profit. I will be keeping an eye on ripple, BNB  and SoL for this coming halving by accumulating good amount. I think they might make impressive price impact, but more of my investment would be towards Bitcoin.
looks like you don't trust Ethereum because you even mentioned Bitcoin but not ETH? instead Ripple binance and solana ?

Bitcoin is in top priority that is why I asked about altcoins so that is sharing.

Does this have to do with trust or choice? I'm quite sure that you're aware of how Ethereum gas fees operate, indicating that they won't change even during a price increase. Nevertheless, I still appreciate Ethereum, though the gas fee remains a deterrent for me.

Ethereum indeed has very high trust because it has been proven that the altcoin that has a high price is Ethereum. The network and technology owned by Ethereum have a broad influence. Many platforms have been created as a result of the implementation of Ethereum network technology. However, you need to remember that human creations will still exist. has shortcomings, and currently the Binance platform also creates technology that is almost the same as Ethereum, so the developer must continue to give confidence to its supporters to continue using Ethereum so that the exchange rate on Ethereum does not collapse easily.

There's a way I will make my own suggestion for altcoins to use for our investment this next bull season, making an investment on any recently introduced coin will make the most of hype on the bullrun and they will likely perform well a d better than many other long time existing coins we may have, why is because this coins are yet to make it a way to the ladder on their journey to a reasonable all time high, not like other coins which had made their first attempt.

I like the Grin Coin but the problem is only a few exchanges that this coin is listed it is not yet listed on big exchanges.

I have a few grincoins on my old hard drive and I have mined coins before that are still stuck on the pool I now can't withdraw them because the pool needs my miner to mine again on their pool but the problem is the wallet I use seems can't retrieve my old address that I use before on that pool(I can't remember the pool).

Anyway, if more exchange that this coin is listed I might need to recover my old wallet and buy more grin coins but it looks risky to buy this coin right now.
I prefer to HODL more on Solana, doge and cardano.

Not everyone recommends investing, but when you are stuck at high prices, simply changing your trading method from daily trading to long-term investment will be safer because the amount of assets you have is still the same; it's just that the estimated value of the assets will be different because each cryptocurrency has a movement. Prices are not easy to predict.

Yeah, if we are stuck in high price better to hold for long term investment.
Crypto currency is volatile and unpredictable.
But crypto have the same season every 4 years.
Trading is good way to do.
But not easy become professional trader, we must have good knowledge and also experience.
I suggest to buy several top coins before bitcoin , such as bitcoin , Ethereum, BNB and Solana.

Hi Mr. Philip, I know you are an expert in cryptocurrency mining, Bitcoin and DOGE. I often notice on the Bitcointalk forum that you are very skilled at mining these coins.
Can you give me a better guess for the DOGE coin when the Bull Run occurs?
I noticed repeatedly with the "All" version of the chart that it was stable at a price of 0.07 USD, I mean I saw in 2021 when the DOGE coin would Boom, its first step started from 0.07 USD.
Look at the screenshot below, currently the DOGE coin is stable at a price of 0.07 and the price ups and downs are not far from that price even though it has been hit by FUD news and Good news.

For the best altcoin holding before next halving season I think Matic is most profitable altcoin, have top standings position in coinmarketcap and they have own blockchain network make more motivate for holding with this coin exactly current price drop until $0.76 right now.
Currently Matic coin ever on all time highest price above $2 and sure for next season halving has chance returning back to highest price or make new all time high price.
Last week, I make another purchase with Matic since drop lower price and waiting when close halving moment season I believe will return above $1 and opportunity for selling to earn much profit.

I have always said something about this, and that is that any altcoin that is in the top5 is the best to be able to hold it because I know that it will do the best for bitcoin, in the entire Cyrpto ecosystem we know that Bitcoin is the boss, but because of that, since it is the only currency that has a life of its own, the others that are in the top 5 will follow it and of course I say that the best thing is also to buy some other privacy currency, for example having Monero is always good , because I know that in the future things with crypto will already be a fact, adoption and everything, but those who have Cyrpto will want to have privacy and that is something that we must guarantee.

For that reason I believe that Monero is the best option, therefore when we think about making or having a good diversification Cyrpto, for me the currency that provides the most anonymity, privacy will have much more chance of surviving than any other.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t buy almost anything at these prices, although that would certainly have been great. The only thing I bought was LDO for 2.8 dollars. At some point, I realized that now the price would stop falling and I needed to buy something now, because wholesale prices for these altocoins would rise. It’s a pity that the price drop did not last long; I would like to buy cheap alcoins from my list.

All thanks to the Ethereum Blockchain technology, which has proven to be a project founder. I believe this Blockchain is sometimes underrated for several reasons, but we've seen its effect on many coin/web3 projects today. Lastly, NFTs wouldn't have gained a good stance in the crypto-verse if not for the Ethereum Blockchain. I think it deserves the trust of many, if not everyone.

We are nearing Halving Bitcoin , there are so much to expect in the season so what are the altcoins that you are holding or at least planning to purchase before the that Bull season happens?

I have 5 altcoins in my folio now of course majority is from bitcoin .

what about yours? is there anything that you can share for others to look at? because maybe its best for us all to share for the coming season.

Speaking of altcoins, some of my current holdings are Matic, Bnb, Qtum, ARB, Idex, IMX, Sand in Gamefi, and Shib, Pepe, Floki, and Aidoge in Meme coins. And among the Ai tokens is Tao; there are others that I can't say anymore.

I did some research, and I'm willing to take a risk on this. Maybe others don't like what I said, but it's my choice, and besides, I'm the one who will be affected, and it's my money. Whatever the outcome of this will be, whether it's good or bad, I will be affected.

Do you believe in the growth of the coin meme? I think you know that it's a pretty risky business to invest in this type of cryptocurrency. Some of the coins from my portfolio are the same as yours, these are Matic, ARB, IMX, these are altcoins that sooner or later will show very good growth. I also advise you to study the ONDO altcoin, it currently costs $ 0.25 but should increase in price in the next two weeks. I bought it for 5 percent of my portfolio.

whatever happened to your funds is on you mate so let it be.

The growth of memecoin is actually not too much thought about because, aside from its function, memecoin is just for fun. There are no products that can be used for the development of the digital world, so don't put too many assets in memecoin, or it's better to just avoid it and never enter memecoin so that when trading, you are less anxious and more calm.

Yes, as the name suggests, memecoins are just for fun and most don't have any utility. But some serious memecoins have quite good development with utility capabilities such as creating games, NFTs and whatnot.

But if the memecoin only relies on hype at the beginning, it is only a memecoin that will be abandoned in the end.
DOGE, SHIBA is a top memecoin that has an amazing community, and I am also one of its holders.

I didn't expect you to be part of the DOGE and Shiba Army holders, I was surprised to read your post. Extraordinary!
Apart from the advantage of having a large community, what do you believe in DOGE and SHIBA to choose these two coins?

I very rarely become a HodLer of Meme coins because my reason is that Meme coins increase in price when there is FOMO.
Very different from coins that were specifically created to pioneer a project or coins that were created to be serious, I can't stop thinking if I should invest in Meme coins. :D

you can tell those Legendary's about that mate like Philipma who admitted to be Dogecoin holder that made me amazed because All I believe back in BTT that they are completely Bitcoin supporters and not as in Memecoins but now  I am wrong and try to check their posts as well mate.
maybe we are near to see about these Meme coins and how can they bring to all supporters either to earn or to lose.

That means you do not know philipma1957. On Bitcointalk, his signature before he joined a campaign was a big text and something like bitcoin is the road while altcoins are the vehicles was written. That shows enough that he is not one of the people that call all altcoins shitcoins. Also if you go to the altcoins mining board, you will notice him there. There are some people that called altcoins shitcoins but still admit that they are holding little amount of the shitcoins. Some people do not also said they are not holding it but that they are gambling with it, that they convert back to bitcoin or fiat if the prices of the altcoins have increased.

Is Obvious that BTC will regain ATH before the next halving so preparation for the next bull run is now. Analyse that Btc, Eth and Sol will have the large share but tokens like Ordi, Ada, Avax, Matic and Link have shown potential. Exchanges native tokens like BGB have also shown a significant trend by setting a new ATH which is a sign of good things to come. Also BNB, OKB and CAKE have shown a good sign.

There are hidden gems in the crypto space that have huge potential for explosive growth and often outpace top projects by tens or hundreds of times in terms of growth percentage.  But nothing changes for me.  I prefer a few coins from the top ten.
