Post by: paid2 on January 10, 2024, 12:57:51 AM

I don't know if you saw this:

Bitcoin developers to preserve Nintendo games on Ordinals (https://www.cryptopolitan.com/bitcoin-developers-nintendo-games-ordinals/)

To sum up:

Quote
-Bitcoin developers have unveiled a project that will allow them to preserve Nintendo games on Ordinals.
-SNES emulator on the Bitcoin blockchain

They've really tried everything with the Ordinals...

Nintendo games on bitcoin... this is pure waste of time and space  :P
Now I understand better why so many people refused for so long to make any bigger changes to bitcoin code.
Developers had good intentions with taproot but it made a mess and it created fee chaos.

Now is now becoming more of an attack to the Bitcoin Network, wonder why don't just create their own Blockchain for their own garbage and stop all these drama

Lol nintendo huh? good luck lol

Nintendo has a history of cracking down fan made games, rom website, emulator, etc. due to copyright issues. If this boomed (which im hoping it does not), they could come for the devs asses.

Nintendo on Blockchain? Damn, this is what we were missing!!!!

All this huge amount of empty pictures on the blockchain and now games!!! All these spam things that caused congestion on the blockchain for a long time and led to the absence of the main function for which Bitcoin was created.

Some people think that the idea seems new and exciting, but this is a terrible mistake!! The Bitcoin network was not created for these empty things.

I agree with you, with Ordinals a door just opened itself, and I bet that it will cause more troubles than benefits for BTC.
I think the only ones happy with this Ordinals shit, are the mining pools owners, some miners (who are clever enough to mine with a pool paying tx fees to their miners, not like some famous big pools) and probably some CEXs too of course.

Lol you're right, they are more than efficient when it comes to defend their copyrights. Curious to see if they will do something against the devs or not.
