Title: offline and online gambling which is best?
Post by: vs2014 on January 17, 2024, 06:56:35 PM
In fact opinions will differ and people are encouraged to gamble both ways. However online gambling is best in countries that have strict gambling laws. Again in countries where there is no strict legal rule for gambling, both offline and online are the best.

Every one single individual is entitled to their own opinion as it bothers them on the subject matter. I believe in the principles of whatever thing that have an advantage also have a disadvantage. Offline and online casinos are unique in their own ways and as such can not be compared against each other.

Online casinos are someworth very unique in the sense that it incorporates digital currencies and fiat as well. One can engage with online casino from anywhere in the world as long as one has access to internet, one can gamble at their comfort without anybody noticing it. Even in countries where laws are against gambling, one can just do that from their convenience. And offline casino too mostly accepts fiat and are fully lincensed by the local laws to operate which makes them fully legal. The offline gambling permits you to engage with other gamblers to share ideas with them and also watching live match as well.

Gambling is okay if played in the appropriate approach, whether it’s played online or offline a gambler will always look for  a way to gamble. The easy accessibility of the online gambling makes it even more attractive for people to play, there are lot of different gambling platform out there this is to show that they are lot of engagement in the gaming world and people are signing up gambling platforms. It’s just solely depend on the person to be able to control is gambling habit or let the gambling take over him.
Personally I would prefer the online gambling because I don’t have to leave my house and I can stay at the comfort of anywhere as long as I have my internet access. Online casinos offer gamblers convenience. With most online casinos, there is no reason to leave the comfort of your home. All you need is an internet connection and a compatible device. Additionally, the variety of games available at online casinos is incredible. With everything looking easy We  should learn  to have control and know when to stop.

for people who are just online all the time like us, online casino is the only option. online is my choice, we all have our choice. the joy of playing using the phone while sitting on the porch is already satisfying. got addicted to plinko back in the days but i'm diverted to some other games already including sports.

online gambling on countries that bans it is still risky, there are state in US that bans online gambling afaik and those users who plays online violates the law, not sure if they'd get away unpunished.

If you want privacy and don't need to allow anyone know that you are a gambler, or you are too busy with work, then online gambling is for you. However, if you want to socialize and know some strategies on how people win their bets, then offline gambling is a place to enjoy your gambling activities. I enjoy both of them, it all depends on my schedule for the week and time frame that determines if I will gamble offline or online. Offline gambling is risky somehow that if you win big majority of people in the casino will know and it can lead to tracing you home or robbery on the road. Online casino is more convenient as you can gamble in your comfort zone.

Between offline and online gambling, online gambling has many benefits, especially in countries where gambling is not officially legalized, online gambling is very popular. Moreover, online gambling can be participated from all countries of the world and virtual currency is accepted as an exchange for gambling payments, so there is no problem about currency if the citizen of any country participates here. Online gambling and casino sites also have no problem with withdrawal and deposit and all problems faced offline can be easily solved online. That is why online gambling is more popular than offline gambling.

You're only playing cat and mouse game with online casinos that does not allow anyone from countries where gambling is illegal. There will be a time when they will review your account and ask for verification. If they found out where you're really from, you'll get banned. Maybe web3 gambling can help you with that.

I think what he means by that is the experience of playing in a physical casino and having a restriction based on the law of a certain country. Both are the best, but when it comes to a gambler, there are two types of people, those who prefer online gambling for personal reasons, and those who prefer physical casinos to see or play together with their fellow gamblers.

Just like for me, I prefer playing at online casinos because I feel uncomfortable around a lot of people when I play. Playing online means that I am the only one playing, which I like. Additionally, I find that online casinos offer more bonuses than offline ones. ;)

I personally prefer online gambling. I don't have to go to the casino, I can do it from my couch (casino chairs are not very comfortable), I don't have to watch the other players' faces, and when I'm done I don't have to go home. So I mostly gamble online. When I go to a land-based casino it's usually with friends. And anyway, I'm not a gambler who gambles large amounts or very often, so when I feel like it and I have time, I usually gamble from home.

The fact that online gambling is more in demand especially with some countries that have strict rules against gambling, so their shortcut is online gambling which is simpler wherever you can play in online gambling.

Even while sleeping comfortably you can still play gambling - that's the online that is more in demand until now that continues to grow.
I never go to offline gambling not knowing the taste of playing there but this does not exist in my country so prefer online gambling more practical again.

Offline casinos are much more dangerous. First, you can't set a losing limit, second, the player is influenced by the casino atmosphere and the various tools and other things used to increase engagement, third -- it's hard to carry winnings away alive, fourth, loss of anonymity, and fifth -- expensive food and drink

I think op is trying to make comparison between both casinos and I will say that both casinos are unique in their own ways which can not be doubted by however, I think when OP says about offline gambling he is referring to the local gambling house or casino were a gambler can go live to gamble with cash and meeting with other gamblers if I am not mistaken because that is what I see it likely to be as there is no other ways of going offline while gambling than being in the gambling house which otherwise means offline gambling.

I don't know how the atmosphere of offline gambling that people say there are crowds playing there, maybe people like crowds will be happy but for me NO, this will be noise because it makes you bet will not be the focus.
You may have already experienced offline gambling, so you know what happens there.
I think the word dangerous comes back to the individual because I don't like it.

The atmosphere of offline gambling is most times rowdy and crowdy when ever there is tournament ongoing. Like as at now hat the AFCON is ongoing, the gambling or bet  shops would be very much rowdy because bettors would be frequenting there to play game most especially live matches and your safety is not guaranteed as well because anything can happen. Sometimes they like the crowd because they interact  with each other and share ideas as to games and matches they want to bet on.

Honestly I guess I'm just going to say something that is in accordance with the facts and I can't compare which one is better between online or physical casinos because of course for this issue it comes back to each individual involved and who feels it. I think so far more people are choosing to engage or participate in online casinos because obviously they provide gamblers with ease and freedom in terms of access, simply put if you are involved in online casinos then anytime and anywhere you can gamble as long as you have money to bet because this is the advantage that online casinos have which does not require gamblers to leave the house like when we want to gamble in physical casinos.

You can enjoy it yourself using only a smart phone connected to an internet connection, and one of the things that makes me say that lately online casinos are more popular is because the advantages they have are really in accordance with what is needed by the community. While on the other hand for the physical casino itself, you may also know that if you want to gamble there then you must have the intention to leave the house which means that it requires you to leave and return when you have finished the session that day, and maybe the advantage is that you will be able to meet directly with other visitors who are also gambling and build good socialization relationships with them by exchanging stories whether it's about gambling experiences or whatever and feel chemistry directly. But for the problem of opportunities and risks between these two types of gambling I think the same, after all both are gambling which is always about opportunities and risks that cannot be completely avoided.

Online is great as you can gamble from the comforts of your home. You can sit around naked if you wish and bet. No waiting for a machine or seat to open, just choose something and play.

Offline you might have to wait hours for your favorite game to open up, or for a seat at a table game to open up.

I prefer online for personal comforts.

In today's time, if we look at it literally, online casinos is more convenient compared to offline casinos. Especially the offline casinos now seem like only rich people go to them. Because of the Internet, even a poor person or even a child can play gambling.

This is the only disadvantage that I see that is not good online; then, when it is promoted on social media by influencers, it is also not good because most of the influencers who promote gambling are also very deceptive to the viewers in truth. This is just my opinion; although I gamble online, it's just me, and I'm not encouraging anyone.

I think these days online gambling is more preferred way to gamble than offline gambling. The reason is simple, online gambling can be done with privacy while in offline gambling you'll have to physically visit the casino and gamble there.

Some people who like gambling but don't want others to know about it will always prefer to go with online gambling. Some online casinos do require KYC verification but the gamblers who aren't high rollers can safely gamble on those sites without KYC Verification.

Of a truth most of the influencers who do promotion on their handles are very much deceptive. Some of them I guess do not really know or have clues on what they are presenting to their followers to patronise as end consumers. They just take advantage of their large followership and fan base to monetise every thing that comes their way. They hard conduct their due diligence on products the advertise to the populace because they are being paid heavily to do so. All they care is the money and other bonuses they would take home with as the rewards for their engagement.

Lastly, gambling is a personal decision and no one is to be compelled or forced to gamble against their own will. So I believe you gambling is your own choice and nobody is being compelled by your statement to start gambling

Gambling has now become an activity of public interest. It's a fact that the intensity has increased unlike before when people weren't so concerned about it. Currently, after every income earned and a plan is set as to how the expenses would seem, there's always a percentage allocated to gambling. Even if the consequences of the act is preached unendingly, there's just this money doubling or expansion zeal in people.
It started off offline with just less people so into it, the advancement came and now it's easier done online, which even beckons more people to give it a try. Surprisingly, both genders are involved in it and the rate at which people fall into the act increases rapidly. It's very much easy to understand online too. Yes there's always a disclaimer on the age brackets to be involved in it but at the moment, I believe there's no restriction, most people do it online and definitely there's no room to predict if the gambler is unqualified in terms of age.

The choice between online and offline gambling depends on how comfortable you are, but in my view, online gambling should be preferred since it gives you more control of everything, allows you to play faster in your room without being distracted, and gives you access to a variety of gambling platforms in the world. online gambling also, it presents a chance for people living in Muslim nations where gambling is forbidden.
The selection of games available for offline gambling is limited, but what makes it enjoyable for me sometimes is that I always have time to have fun with my friends.

It depends on the preference of the gambler, some gamblers are extroverted and they want to be in a crowd, and with the crowd, they enjoy the noise the ambiance, the foods, and the drinks that go with physical casinos.
Some gamblers are introverted and want to be alone and play alone so they can concentrate and enjoy the game without distractions, they also want to hide from their relatives and friends that they are gambling, they want to protect their identity.
Both platforms have a share of the market and both platforms are profitable so both are likely to stay.

Is it playing poker cards with some friends for money? Or going in local casino and spending cash there?
You cant compare this with online gambling and you cant say that both are best, it doesnt make any sense  :P

Everything that involves gambling and you need to move your ass out of the house to bet can be considered offline, the moment yours stop relying on an internet connection to do so it's offline. And yeah, going to a live casino versus an online one there are differences, both in the games played, the rules and most important the atmosphere, one of the tricks for example is that a real casino you can watch somebody putting in 1000 in a slot machine and lose and grab his place hoping it's going to be you that hits the payout threshold of the machine, not so much on online slots. Also, fewer chances of your the guys around the table to be AI controlled droids  ;D
Another advantage would be betting on the track on horse racing, while online you see only numbers and a just bit of live action before they get loaded in the stalls, if you're in real life on the track you can see them walking from the paddock, you can asses far more form just a few glances.

But the biggest disadvantage is that you're also at risk once you won in a real casino to get so drunk and so willing to "have fun" you might end in a ditch or at the police station.

Online gambling gives one the privilege to gamble anywhere and at any time they like, as long as they are not gambling in a place that is unethical. For example, there are some people who like to gamble even when they are tired, which is not right. Offline gambling, also known as land gambling, is very fun, just like online gambling, but the only difference is that the gambler needs to leave their house to go to a casino before they can be able to bet on a game. It will be disadvantaged if the gambler has to travel to a faraway casino, whereas if it were just online, they could be in their house and gamble.

I also prefer playing online gambling because it can be done anywhere. We can gamble from our home, we don't need to spend time to go to the offline casinos. We also can keep our secret about gambling activities if we gamble from home. It is very different if we gamble in offline casinos, everyone must know our activities. I'm sure many of us prefer to keep our secret about gambling, it is not necessary to tell anyone. It sometimes can harm us.

There is no how both offline and online gambling will be the best at the same time. You need to make a very good use of your comparative English grammar. In different context one will be better than other so it boils down to the gambler who is using either online or offline means to gamble. While people who are not proud of being called gamblers will likely use the online means because this will not expose them as being gamblers. Some who gambles and find fun in gambling will likely go to offline casino where they will meet with friends and their groups and argue about things. In the end they might choose to go to bar from the casino and that is the life for you. Also considering the restriction that the topic creator stated about, there are many reasons one will choose offline gambling above online and vice versa

Generally the most important aspect of gambling offline or online gambling depends on how skilled or addicted the player is to gambling. Usually if you lose money by gambling then you can go broke with gambling. I have heard many people say that online gambling can make you a millionaire overnight, I have never tried it myself but I don't know how true this is.

If looking for better between offline gambling and online gambling then definitely I will accept online gambling as better. Offline gambling requires time no one can participate in offline gambling but online gambling requires less time for anyone participating. Offline gambling can be very dangerous for a gambler in countries where gambling is prohibited but online gambling can not be dangerous for a gambler in those countries. However, although online gambling is more convenient than offline gambling, there are disadvantages in online gambling, one of which is that young people are most attracted to online gambling.

Gambling is strictly prohibited in the country I live in, so people who gamble offline are always punished by the law. But many people are secretly addicted to gambling, and those who gamble offline often face injustice. Because they make losses in gambling and quarrel with the family and cause chaos all the time. All individuals involved in online gambling are also criminals, but online gambling remains hidden from society's eyes. For me, online gambling is more preferred than offline gambling.

That would be my country in particular, gambling is all the rave here and even the government themselves know this and are also benefiting huge time from many gambling companies here. For me before now I was fan of offline gambling although I would like to be specific on the exact type because they're lots of offline gambling so in that note am actually referring to PVP type of gambling and we don't see that much in online gambling although there are some companies that are actually adding something similar to attract more people that are into it to experience the joy of such services online.

Hard to find which one is preferable. It is quantity (online gambling) vs more unique experience (communication with dealer and other gamblers). I depends in a situation. I would say that offline is more relaxing. Gambling online all games comes one after another, without giving a lot of time to rest. If we talk about the amount that can be won during session, then online is more preferable. But it is possible to lose more also.

I prefer online gambling. Because I can gamble anywhere, anytime. Only online gambling have games that I like. I have never seen dice offline.

Online gambling is definitely better than offline gambling if safety or society's reaction is considered. By playing offline gambling, you will create a bad image in the society and people will start looking at you in a bad light. Since online gambling has the option of playing with privacy, people will not know that you are involved in gambling. Due to the differences in the society, the people of the society usually accept gambling in different ways. Society considers gambling as a curse considering the various negative aspects of gambling. If you live in a society where a gambler gambles and loses all his money, then you are bound to hate gambling as a person of that society. So I think one should always pay attention to one's privacy and from offline gambling to online gambling must maintain one's privacy.

Why playing offline creates an image of being and online not, if both are same processes? The fact that someone will see IRL you in casino means you are bad? But same people can spot you gambling online on pc/laptop/mobile. You say that online is safest, but you internet provider sees what pages you open anyway.

Imo offline gambler would have a bad image only he is looking bad (old and dirty clothes, dented face and etc). If a guy is well dressed, have expensive car for example, and say he has got all that from gambling, then no one would think he is bad, but rather consider as lucky or successful.

Between offline and online gambling I think offline gambling is better. In this case, it can be seen that many people live together through offline gambling and various chats are also held there. If someone wants to take gambling as fun and take it to the level of festivity then offline gambling is definitely best for him. In the case of offline gambling, the accumulation of relationships with each other means between gamblers. Again, in various ways, sympathy and friendship are created here with each other. But online gambling does not maintain that kind of relationship. And it cannot save society in any way. So I personally think offline gambling is best compared to online gambling.

I have always found pleasure in it at all times, for me both have their pros and cons, but basically the physical casinos, if they have a great advantage, that they do not have to do any KYC, you do not have to comply with anything to be able to withdraw , It's just immediate and that's all I like, there's nothing to do, things are handled like that, so every time we play we have our verdict once and for all, and there's no problem whether you leave the money there or not, what If you pause it or not, no, the money is in our pockets and we are the ones who decide what to do with it, that is why this exciting casino was made.

In the online casino, the advantage I see is that I can play from home, without anyone distracting me, without anyone telling me what to do , all of this is what I take advantage of to have the best experiences, of course and my personal opinion. , but that's what I think about both of them.

Sure, both offline and online gambling are okay.
Indeed. When we go to offline casinos, there is no need of KYC. What for?  ;D
We don't need to show our private data, we don't worry of KYC procedure.
But everyone can see our gambling activities there. And we must go there to play gambling.

In the online casino, the advantage I see is that I can play from home, without anyone distracting me, without anyone telling me what to do ,
Sure, online gambling enables us to gamble from any where. We can keep our privacy, no one knows us.

We should understand that gambling is a very broad concept that connotes different things to different people. When the word gambling is called, some people's mind turns to casinos, others to poker, bingo, lotto, sports betting, and so on. This means that deciding on whether online or offline betting which is better depends on the type of gambling, the individual, and the circumstances.

For those into sports betting, online betting is preferred since it is very easy to bet conveniently, stake on live bets, and remain anonymous. This remains the concern of so many sports bettors and that is why online betting remains the best.

Honestly, it depends on everyone's point of view, some people will say online gambling is better and some people will say offline gambling is better.

For people who don't have a lot of time to go to gambling establishments or those who prefer the peace and quiet of playing, online gambling is definitely better. Likewise, for those who have free time and prefer to directly interact with other gamblers, they will prefer offline gambling.

For myself, both are the same and probably tend to be for online gambling, because I become more free without any binding time, which means I can do it at home without having to go out.

I so much concur with your opinion. None can be said to be better than the other. It is a matter of personal preference.  We have introverts and also extroverts. For introverts, no matter the nature of the gambling, will prefer to gamble online since it is not in their nature to interface with people whereas extroverts who gamble because of fun will see it more appealing to gamble offline since they can easily interact with people as they gamble. In my opinion, the preference solely depends on the individual.

Depends what county we talk about.
If it's Las Vegas be prepared to be asked for an ID as well as random checks if you don't really look in your 30s and more like 20s.
Also, if you're going to hit the CTR limit for sure they are going to ask you for an ID but some shittier casino like to prey on customers reluctant to go though this and might ask you even at $2000, then there might be checks for outstanding markers and so on.

I have always found pleasure in it at all times, for me both have their pros and cons, but basically the physical casinos, if they have a great advantage, that they do not have to do any KYC, you do not have to comply with anything to be able to withdraw ,

Except if you have a warrant on your name and while you wait at the cage for your cash you might end in a police cage!  ;D

Offline gambling is best for people who are not tech savvy or those that has no access to internet and mobile devices. i think majority of gamblers prefer the offline way because most of them does not require any KYC and any other factors that gamblers don't like.

Yes, it is like that, but talking about this, there are also people who gamble openly and there are those who do not want their activities to be known by others. I've encountered some people who are upfront that they are gamblers and don't hesitate to play in public places. But I'm pretty sure there are also people who choose to gamble without being known by others.

There are many types of gamblers, one of which is the one I mentioned above. It may seem that someone has never gambled and they don't even know how online gambling works. But we never know what they do when they are alone at home, it could be that the person is more adept at gambling and even addicted.

, both offline and online are the best.
But I cannot deny that I often see betting and gambling every day before my eyes, this is not friendly and makes me want to reprimand them because it is done in public.
Personally, it's up to them whether they want to bet and gamble or whether they want to win or lose, it's up to them because it's their money, but don't do it in public because there are lots of small children in public.

Most of the betting and gambling that is done in public is of the offline type and this is very worrying, I can only say "maybe we should maintain our manners so as not to do betting and gambling in public".

In fact opinions will differ and people are encouraged to gamble both ways. However online gambling is best in countries that have strict gambling laws. Again in countries where there is no strict legal rule for gambling, both offline and online are the best.

Gambling online and offline gambling is illegal in my country. If many people gamble offline in my country, they are corrupt in their society, and there is always turmoil in the family. So many people indulge in gambling secretly in the middle of the night, they get some benefits but later face a lot of pain. Because they are more addicted to gambling, and secretly gambling online is not seen as a crime by the society. That's why online gambling is more preferred, no one can know about this secret. Can be gambled at any time Can't participate once the line balance is exhausted. By the way, I prefer online gambling.

There are several influential experts.
1. If someone really likes things that are straightforward, then they will think that offline casino is the best one, or offline gambling is the right choice.

2, But if we were living in a country with gambling restrictions, it would be exactly safe if we used online gambling.

3.Additionally, online gambling can be done by anyone in the world who wants to do gambling in global casinos. Online casinos are freer than we think ever since we can also find so many types of online casinos.

So I personally prefer to use online casinos if I want to do it.

Will online gambling feel more manipulated?
We don't know where we are and those who have gambling websites can manipulate it easily.
But there is a plus too, if we gamble online, maybe we won't be immediately arrested by the police (if gambling is prohibited in your place).
Maybe it will be very different from offline gambling, which is very easy for the police to catch, because I often see it in local online media. This is very worrying.

Offline and online gambling both are important for gambler. Online and offline gambling both has many positive side. So some people like offline gambling and some people like online gambling.
Offline gambling has some positive side. Like- Many country’s government declared gambling as illegal, So their online brambling is restricted. So if anyone want to gamble  there offline gambling is only way for it. Moreover in offline gambling we can hide our identity. Even many people not expert on online so they are only dependable on offline gambling.

On the otherhand online gambling is huge popular worldwide. It is very easy and anyone can choose any gambling site from online. Gambler can choose any kinds of favorite game from online gambling site. And here no need any other physical man to bet. And if anyone want to gamble in lonely place it is possible.
So i think online is best. And i like to gamble with online.

I think online gambling more comfortable without have to make manual transaction payment when using offline gambling, personally online gambling make us easily to make deposit and withdrawing fund than offline gambling face to face and  not get yet with our privacy. I think not all gambler want to publish about their habit with gambling but online gambling can hidden for the other people with our habit as gambling.
If some one can't manage well with internet access seems offline gambling more comfortable for them and likely difficult move to online gambling.

Online gambling is now safer and more accessible for a gambler than offline gambling. Various videos on Facebook or YouTube are now directly advertising about various gambling sites and there are advertisements about how their financial situation will change a lot in a moment, due to which many people sign up on these sites and start gambling without realizing it. Society considers offline gambling as a bad thing but if one gambles through mobile then no one cares about what he is doing in mobile. These days people who are not very mobile savvy now gamble offline on various sports or any other thing but gambling in casino is a different matter.

You are right to point out that online gaming is more accessible in countries where it is banned or controlled. I, for example, play on fairspin platform all the time, I don't even need a VPN, and I get enough pleasure. However, from my experience I can say that games in a real institution are interesting because there is an atmosphere of excitement and success, and plus the institutions themselves can be very luxurious

It all depends, there are people who like in-person casinos for a social issue and even for luck.

Others see it as volume of bets, the same bets are not made offline as online, ever.

And on the other hand there are the Poker players, there it is something else, they are different worlds, it is not the same and in reality being a winner in face-to-face casinos is difficult, if not almost impossible, speaking of tournaments, cash tables is another thing, but in tournaments, no.

I have had the opportunity to travel to many casino to play some tournaments, and it is a weekend theme, a "vacation" plan. Sometimes tournaments include a stay in their buy-in, so if you lose the first day you enjoy the rest of the days or play at cash tables if it is something you like to do, in my case I do not play at face-to-face cash tables, but I do play online.

So, from the point of view that interests us, which is betting skills, this type of topic is only informative, since in reality you don't know any of this until you try it.

Many say, no to a face-to-face casino, it is boring, yes, but it is not the same as going to the Caribbean's Largest and most cool Casino... you would say no.  :)

Personally, I still prefer online gambling. because here we can better protect our confidentiality and privacy. Imagine if people knew that I gambled. I will definitely be devastated because they think gambling is a very useless activity. And sometimes I think so. But back to each individual's response.

The next thing is why online gambling is because we are free to choose which platform we will use, with all its benefits and risks. This is also the same, so it is better not to choose a platform that is already trusted and has a good reputation.

Of course gambling depends on a gambler's gambling strategy. Offline gambling is safe for the gambler if he is already aware about offline gambling and if he understands well about offline gambling. But nowadays most of the gamblers gamble on online gambling sites. In some aspects online gambling seems to me to be slightly safer than offline gambling. When gambling offline, the relationship between the gamblers is usually strained and there is a possibility of getting into conflict with each other and sometimes even if a gambler wins, the opposite gambler refuses to pay for the gamble. By doing this they create enmity with each other but there is no such possibility in online gambling because as a result of win or loss money is automatically deducted from the account and automatically money is added to the account.

Well, what you say is a bit debatable, in the sense that now the casinos all require a KYC request, and that's what happens when privacy and anonymity end, and this also lends itself to bad thinking and doing things that shouldn't be done. Personally, I have always said something, if the casinos all ask for KYC they will be and can be controlled by some type of government entity, and in the event that these casinos manage to leak this data it would be something very disastrous, and it is possible, no matter how good Be it the casino, there is nothing safe in anything, especially in casinos.

We as players will always prefer the casinos that are more reliable, with the best reputation, highly trustworthy, the casinos that will always give us the best service, but there is always the latent risk of a possible hack, the only threat What I see is that they may be decentralized casinos, but they are not as secure, either, so it is already a question that privacy is not as good now as before.

Most of my gambling is done offline because I enjoy the atmosphere of betting shops. People from different walks of life come in to gamble. You can easily interact with people and ask them about their opinions on certain games. When you gamble offline you can easily get information about new signings, injury players, suspended players and motivation of teams.

This is important for me because I am too lazy to source that information online. So, gambling offline makes it easy for me to get updated. Offline gambling makes it possible for people to easily laugh at you when you show certain behaviors after losing and this laughter makes most gamblers stay calm. I will always prefer offline gambling.

Sometimes many of those who talk about online casinos have no idea about face-to-face gambling and its social aspect, which can vary; Casinos or sportsbet, in sports betting what you say is very true, I have seen guys there who have no problem sharing good information , which you wouldn't get anywhere else.

In traditional games, it seems to me that online gaming can "dominate" but even as Luckymcfly mentioned above, anonymity at offline Casinos is a good alternative.

I have personally found offline gambling to be better between offline and online gambling. In most cases, the entertainment portion of online gambling is minimal. On the other hand through offline gambling many people can enjoy everything from being there together. Even if one side loses, one can see the smiling face of the other side's success. Also, various types of parties are organized through it. Considering these aspects I think offline gambling is the best.

I agree with you. Offline gambling provides a sense of community. It makes it easy to interact with other players, dealers and staff creating a lively atmosphere.

This offers a unique ambience and entertainment experience. Also, the sights, lights and excitement of a casino floor cannot be replicated online.

The glitz and glamour, live music, shows and performances contribute to an immersive and enjoyable experience.

As you mentioned there are two types of gambling one is online and the second is offline choosing any one is the decision of the individual based on his/her need or means. If talk about the quality and which one is good then I vote for the online one, yeah both have advantages and disadvantages but I think online gambling will be less addictive for a person as compared to offline. Offline a complete environment is provided where you do not know about the time and only focus on the gambling which results in high losses while in online when you lose you know how much you lost and yeah a lot of indicator is presented that remind you to stop gambling for know and this is the best thing in online gambling.

Right, and I don't know about the majority, but before I played on online gambling, I'm more of a traditional land base casino players. It's like you will really missed a lot if you are a gambler and haven't tried going to a land base casinos.

The atmosphere, the noise, the people around, free drinks, meeting people in the same table that you play on even in roulette games. There are a lot of advantage of playing their specially if you a social person.

Heck, you might witnessed someone winning big, like the jackpot and you can see their genuine reaction and hoping that you can win big too.  ;D

Exactly that is why I find it fun playing in an offline gambling facility because you might have conversations with other gamblers around the only problem is privacy and exposure to microbes I mean yeah I know we are all familiar with pandemic. But yeah seeing peoples reactions when they got lucky in gambling is priceless. 😅 The only downside with online gambling is it's boring unless you got lucky everytime you place bets which is for me not happening I think. All in all they both have pros and cons.

Yeah, and I think it's not like we are going to be friends with someone, who we just met on a gambling table. However, you can strike conversation with them and that the next time you came again, you might see them and of course, you will definitely talk to them.

I might not know their names though, but the face yeah, I'm more familiar with most of the gamblers that I played with that most of time we talk or giving high fives if they hit a jackpot or win big.  :)

It is returned to each individual whichever they prefer, because there are those who don't want to appear and want to gamble online, but there are those who actually dare to appear and want to gamble offline. It all just depends on their wishes, but many people prefer offline gambling because there is a special sensation of being able to express their joy directly or together with friends who can play together, however the sensation of offline gambling is more effective and there are quite a few who actually like it. What I have not realized about this is that in physical casinos, people enter who only trust in what is safe, who do not go into intentional casinos because they think that they are going to lose their money because they are going to be robbed, however when It is explained to them that it is basically the same, because they do not like the idea of leaving their personal data in that casino and there they have a great point, while an older person enters a casino without being asked for absolutely anything for identification, in An online casino at least has to meet a small verification requirement in order to make a respectable withdrawal.

These types of things are what we should see, not everyone thinks the same way, some people only trust in what they can play, win and take money, and few in the requirements that casinos have for withdrawal, They also don't like it when they are bonuses, because they say that the conditions are very difficult to meet and that is regulating the money, that is why I have spoken with those who play the most who are friends, apart from the fact that some do not have the ability to be on computers That implies a greater effort for things.

I don`t even see the possibility of having fun in online gambling. Personally, when I hear people talk about gambling for fun, entertainment and pleasure, the only thing which crosses my mind is offline gambling. It is only in offline gambling you can interact with other players, creating a social atmosphere that some people find enjoyable. Online gambling can only offer convenience and privacy and I don`t see anything related to fun in the pros of online gambling.

online gambling is not fun you are alone and unless you stop and use the money with friends family or yourself you get no fun.

a long long long time ago I was in the US Navy out shipped sailed into Sydney Australia.🇦🇺
I found a cab driver told him to drive to the airport I cashed 500 Usd in to Australia USD and told the cabbie to take me to the horse racetrack.  I won thousands and thousands of dollars I was so exited. I left the track and the cab driver was sitting in his cab he told me I thought you would be lucky did you win. I said your right lets go back to the airport and I will cash out to USA.

I had so much cash security came by and asked me why I was cashing in so much AUD for USD

I said I was a US Navy sailor and won it at the track.  the cabbie yeah. 👍 The security wanted to see my passport.mI said I don’t have one. You should have seen the look on their faces.

I said no don’t worry I have my USN picture id 🪪 it takes the place of the passport. we all laughed.

They then said I won 150 AUD under the 5000 dollar limit to cash to USD. I said no worries if it was more I would have tipped the cab driver more. We all laughed again. The cabbie dropped me off I tipped him 500 AUD which is a really good tip for 1980.

Basically this could never happen online. It is by far one of the best days in my life. I am sure that the cabbie thought it was a great day too.

In fact opinions will differ and people are encouraged to gamble both ways. However online gambling is best in countries that have strict gambling laws. Again in countries where there is no strict legal rule for gambling, both offline and online are the best.
Online gambling is open for every country although the sites are restricted for different areas according to the restrictions of different countries but there is also a solution to open the restricted games by using vpn. However, as gambling is not legalized in all countries, playing offline games is not possible for everyone. on the other hand, online casinos can be played anywhere and do not require any fixed location. and in the case of online gambling, many games can be enjoyed on one site but offline is not possible. because of that it is very popular with everyone and I myself prefer online gambling because offline gambling is not legal in my country

If we sit together with friends to watch a match and if there is an opposite opponent, we bet with our opponent and whichever team loses in that bet we all enjoy the victory and defeat through the party. But in all cases offline gambling is not good for me because no privacy is maintained by playing offline gambling. Gambling investment I always try to keep things confidential. I don't feel the need to share the fact that I'm gambling with anyone because it's a private matter for me. If I don't want to share my gambling with anyone then I must gamble offline because offline gambling maintains maximum privacy.

Nice you agreed with me that online gambling does not offer fun. The instance you gave justified the argument. In addition, only introverts are so comfortable gambling online. Personally, the reason I even gamble online is so that people will not know my staking power and also when time is against my side to be able to meet up gambling offline. I was at a Casino house yesterday and it feels like home. In my opinion, online gambling can never match offline gambling in terms of fun.

In fact opinions will differ and people are encouraged to gamble both ways. However online gambling is best in countries that have strict gambling laws. Again in countries where there is no strict legal rule for gambling, both offline and online are the best.
In this case your question my answer will be for now gambling is illegal. And here any kind of physical casinos are not allowed and if the authorities can find someone with the gambling casinos then they keep  catch in to jail. There are lots of examples like this.
And that is why I prefer and love to stay on anonymous with the online casinos  and for me now online casino is the best. But I will not ignore the fun what we can enjoy in a offline casino. I will not gonna compare their fun with eachother.

Is it possible that a country will permit online gambling and then prohibit offline gambling? I would like to know such a country.

I think laws on gambling are the same in a country where it is legal. If it is illegal then both online and offline are also considered illegal.

Yes all online and offline gambling is illegal in countries where gambling is illegal. In my country gambling is still considered an illegal thing so gambling is illegal both online and offline in my country.  But I think that offline gambling will be more fun than online but people prefer online gambling more because of less time and busyness.  Because it can be played only through a smartphone where it can be played and another special feature of them is that even in countries where gambling is illegal, you can enjoy gambling by hidden way

Gambling is illegal in our country either ofline or online. Although gambling is illegal in our country But it is running hiddenly. Even i am seeing near about 50% people in rural area are invested with casino and another gambling.
Now time is more popular for online so i think Online gambling is more popular then offline. Because online gambling is too easy they can paly game without any others help.So i think Online gambling is more popular then Offline gambling.

Both have advantages and disadvantages, and with covid19 a few years ago online casinos became more popular.
Those who like playing slots will obviously prefer to play online because online casino offers a huge selection of games, better payout and many bonuses.
Meanwhile, for those who like to bet on blackjack, baccarat and other table games, maybe they prefer playing at land based casinos.

And here comes a disadvantage that offline casinos have - the number of gamblers is always bigger than number of those tables. This clearly noticeable when people have different budgets. Tables with low stakes are often totally occupied and gamblers circulation is slow. For example it the casino is full with clients, and your favorite game is blackjack, and you dont want to spend a lot, you might even have to wait in a queue before you will start gambling. This waiting kills all joy and mood. Sometimes people just leave.

I don't think a lot players are needed in land-based casinos, knowing that their source of income is probably the high stakes players and those who are losing all their wealth there. I would prefer online personally because I don't want people too much around me. Also, with the smoking that some casinos allow. It's making my head hurt because of it.

I am just sharing my experience. For example when I was on a cruise, the casino was located near one of main restaurants, and it was always crowded at evenings. Sometimes I had a desire to play blackjack, but all the tables were occupied. I had a chance to go to a table with $10 minimum bet, but that was to much for me. I have waited about 10 minutes (that is actually the time my cocktail lasted), none of 4 tables got free chairs, so all I have to do is to go away.

My desire to gamble appears spontaneously. I dont make plans, sort of a Friday evening, 20:00-21:00 I gamble. That is why those who prefer blackjack or table games in general, have a slight disadvantage towards those who gamble online (that refers to post I've quite, as person has said that blackjack is more suitable for offline casino).

When you said offline gambling, I was off for a moment until I read comments and see that you are talking about physical casinos and gambling platforms. What is there is that we are different from the way we do things because some people are introverts and some are extroverts. There are people that love solo gambling and because of the presence of online gambling, things are better for them  that way.

There are some gamblers that don't like to stay at home, they like going to places where there is crowd, entertainment and also get people to discuss one or two things with, that's why they don't like online gambling, so I think it's individual thing and not general opinion.

Physical casinos have the highest advantage that I see and they don't have to be entering their identity or registering, that is, no KYC, but in online casinos we may not have that freedom, but we can do it from our home, and having As a basis for many things, for example, stopping when we want and continuing when we require it, that is an advantage that cannot be achieved in a Physical environment.

All gambling is illegal in countries where gambling is illegal. Online or offline does not matter. Gambling is illegal in my country, so the government takes tough action against gambling, since the government doesn't have to work hard to counter offline gambling, they can take quick action against offline gambling. Online gambling is more popular in my country because it takes a little longer for the government to take action against online gambling. Even if the government blocks the url of online gambling websites, gamblers bypass the block using various methods. And because of this, even if gambling is illegal in that country, it becomes difficult to prevent online gambling.

Inasmuch as it's a matter of preference, I still believe that there's one that's mostly preferred over the other, if you check around today, you'll notice that ever since the emergence of Online Casinos, majority of the gamblers has already adapted to the convenience that it offers and now very few gamblers woupd choose to go to gamble halls. You'll mostly fund those who do not have access to smartphones there, or those who are not used to modern day tech, like the elderlies.

Have you tried gambling online with your friends? I remember I was testing Utopia eco system, and despite being a wallet/anonymous browser/mail client, it has some build in games. While testing I though that poker is a useless feature of it, but now I see some benefits of it. You can use it to gamble anonymously with your friends; chat during the game and even place real bets :)

It really relies on how people wish to gamble, whether online or offline. So, for me, a possible remedy is to force online gambling businesses to provide secure betting options such as self-exclusion and deposit limitations. This could help players set limits and regulate their betting habits. It could also help users prevent spending more money than they are capable of losing. Some websites also provide features that allow gamers to monitor the money they spend as well as establish spending limitations for a particular period of time. However, if there are no laws or restrictions, it might be extremely riskier.

There is a difference between physical gambling and online gambling. Those who gamble at land based casinos will not find much enjoyment in online gambling. But online gambling is more popular for those who do not have land based casinos i.e. where casinos or gambling are not allowed. Between these two, the demand for online gambling platforms has increased tremendously these days. Because in online casinos a user can keep himself completely anonymous. No one else gets any information about his gambling. Moreover, there is an opportunity to gamble anywhere at your convenience.

Online gambling to me is the best although everyone has their preference, one major reason why I prefer to gamble online is simply the comfortability, with just your mobile phone or laptop you can just fund your account and gamble till you are satisfied, a lot of people don't engage in online gambling because they feel it's quite addictive and it's very easy to lose your money through this means. Whether you are gambling offline or online you must learn to always gamble responsibly

The more comfortable a gambler becomes, the easier it is for them to gamble uncontrollably. When a gambler can easily fund his account and stake games at any time of day, he will be known for rebetting lost tickets, which can lead to him spending more money on gambling than necessary. That believe that the game that spoiled the ticket is the bad game, and because such a game has been dictated, the other games in the ticket will be played. This mentality will drive the gambler to gamble without restrictions.

That is something that I do not recommend, for me always being comfortable in everything will always be the best, but to be well it is better to always allocate the money intended to lose , that way we will not have Consequences that we can regret later, I will always say that when there is a chance to make things better, there is nothing like controlling money, if we control money we will automatically control feelings and impulses, which are the factors that always make us lose, or win Depending on our case.

For me, online gambling is the best. although everyone has their preference, one major reason why I prefer to gamble online is simply the comfortability, with just your mobile phone or laptop you can just fund your account and gamble till you are satisfied, a lot of people don't engage in online gambling because they feel it's quite addictive and it's very easy to lose your money through this means.

I already don't understand what you mean, gamblers play to win or to have some fun, not for rebetting lost tickets. Because if they did, then it's the failure for the gambler themselves. I do think that gamblers are smart, not in a smart way of like intelligent. But they know how to bet and will stake on games that they know they are going to win.

And for that, you really need to be very careful and have a lot of self-control not to fall for being addicted. And we all know that it's very hard to really quick gambling that's why we need to have self control.

Without a doubt, all gamblers make selections in the hopes of winning, but this does not guarantee that they will win. That's why it is called gambling. When gamblers predict and always win, bookies will continue to lose money, and if they continue to lose heavily as a result of the number of winners, they will go bankrupt and cease operations.

However, this is not the case. It is impossible for gamblers to win all of the time, which is why the bookies continue to profit and thrive. This has become a very profitable business for bookmakers, who will always win because the odds are always in their favour.

This is not going to happen as online gaming platform had the house edge. The longer you play, the more money you are going to lose. And if you win in the beginning, it's time to get out. They are in the business of making money and so they are hard to bet.

However, this is not the case. It is impossible for gamblers to win all of the time, which is why the bookies continue to profit and thrive. This has become a very profitable business for bookmakers, who will always win because the odds are always in their favour.

That's why we need to choose very  careful and then be careful and really have a lot of self control. Losing will not only affect us financially, but mentally as well and that's where it became so dangerous as we might end up being addicted.
