I have been three years ago consistency buy or accumulate bitcoin not care with DCA or bitcoin price down or pump, have been my decision with bitcoin as long term holding and make bitcoin as my saving money. Usually spent around 100$ until $200 for saving in the Bank and since last three years ago change with my habit about saving money from the bank to bitcoin. Usually if some one adopt with DCA when investing in bitcoin is not worth for consistency holding bitcoin in weekly and they will waiting when right time.
I don't have planning in short time to sell bitcoin because its my assets for my children education cost in the future, have several years left before going to college and I sell it later.

TBH, I just buy and hold bitcoin when the price goes down and will hold until bullish season the next year.
Yeah I will hold untill bull market, But I also do daily trading to gain daily profit.
If you asked How often to buy bitcoin, not often.
Just see the market condition, when down I will buy more and hold.

Your strategy of buying and holding Bitcoin during market downturns and participating in daily trading to capitalize on short-term opportunities reflects a combination of long-term investment and active trading. This approach allows you to benefit from both potential long-term appreciation and short-term market movements.

Timing the market based on favorable conditions, such as buying when prices are down, is a common strategy among investors. It's important to stay informed about market trends and make decisions aligned with your overall financial goals.

Remember to manage risk effectively, especially in the more volatile world of cryptocurrency. Balancing a long-term holding strategy with occasional short-term trades can provide a diversified approach to navigating the dynamic crypto market.

I don't have any system to invest with money from outside, my only investment is the money I earn weekly. I always use DCA method to invest because I invest all my weekly earnings using DCA method. Of course I'm ready to wait until the bull market. Also since I am investing in DCA method I will invest for minimum 5 to 10 years.

It's excellent that you have a disciplined approach to investing with your weekly earnings using the Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) method. This method is known for its consistency and ability to smooth out the impact of short-term market volatility.

Remember that all investments come with risks, and the cryptocurrency market can be particularly volatile. Your approach of investing what you can afford to set aside on a regular basis aligns with responsible financial planning.

If you have specific financial goals or questions about your investment strategy, consider consulting with a financial advisor who can provide personalized guidance based on your circumstances.

I am buying Bitcoin from last one year. Yes i am following DCA method. I think DCA method is best for Bitcoin investment. Whatever price up or down no matter. If price increase it is good for me even Bitcoin price go down i am buying Again. I think my investment will more profitable when bull session will come. I will continue DCA for future 3/4 month and after then i will wait for bull session. I think near future bull session is coming because April 2024 Bitcoin halving will happen and then bull session will start. So i am continue doing DCA and waiting for my target.

How often do you buy and how long do you plan to hold bitcoins?
Some people plan to sell after they make profit. Some people will sell just some after making profit and leave the rest. Some people will hold some for long without selling, like for inheritance purpose. Choose the one that you prefer.

Should You Use DCA Method When You Buy Bitcoins Can Bitcoin Investing Using DCA Method Be Profitable?
In short term, it may seem not profitable. Also in short term, you may be lucky and it will be profitable. In long term, it will be profitable even if it is not profitable in short term. Just do not sell when the market is not favoring you, continue to DCA.

How high are you planning to invest Bitcoin and sell it, are you prepared to wait until the bull market???
Waiting only means procrastination. It is better to DCA instead and try to buy more at lower price. If the price do not get that low before some weeks like a week to halving, then you can buy the remaining that you want. Some months after halving, the price of bitcoin will increase is what that is speculated and which will likely be accurate as it has been for many years.

The more as I keep having my financial income coming in then I will be always and ever ready to invest in bitcoin at any point in time, holding is inevitable for me, as far as the investment am making is not in haste for sell, I invest through the income generated, this alone could allow me hodl till am much convinced for selling at the right time.

Should You Use DCA Method When You Buy Bitcoins Can Bitcoin Investing Using DCA Method Be Profitable?

Yes, you can ask as many as possible people who have used this same purchasing pattern, they will attest to it's profitability.

How high are you planning to invest Bitcoin and sell it, are you prepared to wait until the bull market???

Of course almost every investors will have this as their target, the market would have surges and the increase would have been well achieved on investment.

This is not an unusual time to buy bitcoins so naturally my answer would be I will definitely buy more bitcoins at this time. The price of Bitcoin is relatively higher now than at other times, which is why you may be asking the question of whether to invest now. We feel the price is relatively high right now but Bitcoin could go much higher. Since nothing can be said with certainty about the market in advance, we must take risks and invest with risk. Now that the price of Bitcoin is at a fairly good level, we may be afraid that if we sit and wait for the market to go down again, and if the market does not go down again, we will miss the investment opportunity. Investments can be made at any price level so that investment opportunities are not missed.

Basically, DCA is very suitable for beginner investors and long-term investors. because in this concept we don't need to think too much or care about price fluctuations. we only need to manage our finances so that we can spend it in a certain period of time to increase the Bitcoin accumulation in each certain period. The aim is for the long term and to take profit at a certain price that we will target.

I personally like this concept and it is calmer to do this because basically I am not the type of person who can analyze the market carefully or very well. so it would be much better to implement DCA for long-term investment. However, this only applies to Bitcoin investments for me personally.

How often an investor invests in bitcoin depends on their financial strength to be investing in it at any time they want.

Using a DCA method is the optimal way to invest in bitcoin, and I have been doing so for a while. Considering that the bitcoin halving is just a few months away, I don't think I will be stopping anytime soon. I have been profitable ever since. We all know what occurs next with regard to the price of bitcoin, "skyrocketing I guess to a new ATH," a few months after the halving

- I only buy Bitcoin when I have enough money and there is a dump in Bitcoin price. I mostly prefer to watch and see, we don't hurry to decide buying more and more in the current situation.

- It is not a must to use DCA method. If we don't have no enough time to do DCA, it is enough to keep hodling. Just keep the Bitcoin in the wallet until Bitcoin passed its current ATH.

- I think I will sell my Bitcoin if the price can grow above $80k. I'm not a person who really want to sell at $100k.

Because of the high tx fee it is difficult to use the dca strategy, especially for the people who buy weekly, they have to either buy monthly or even bi-monthly. Take note that people have different strategies, there is no one-size-fits-all, so you should not try to copy someone, do what you can and in your own time, you will get more satisfaction in that way.

As long as I have more fiat to invest in Bitcoin, I usually buy when I see a price dip. About a week ago, Bitcoin climbed to $47k, but if you look at the current price, you will see that there is a dip in the price.

The price surge of Bitcoin last week really gave me hope that the bull market is actually going to give rise to a new all-time high, so all I do is keep DCAing until the price is fully bullish and has crossed the $60k price.

I am holding my investment until I see the price at which I have desired to sell it. My first selling price will be around $80k, $100k, and $120k. If the bull market comes, I will not sell all my bitcoin at once; I will sell in fractions to avoid selling everything when the bull market has not touched its peak.

As long as I can afford it, I will continue to invest in bitcoin, not all assets are in bitcoin but at least bitcoin is more than other assets.

Until now, I still continue to do DCA consistently even though it is once a month, for me it doesn't matter as long as the accumulation continues if it is still possible, because after all we have to manage finances first the rest is spent on bitcoin.

Of course I will wait for the bull market because there the profits will look quite large even though it is now 40% of the profits from DCA.

I cannot tell what my complete plans but what I know is I am ready to whatever it takes , sideways? i care nothing because I am willing to keep holding.

Market Bullying? i care nothing because I can sell my coins then.

This is not about what and how much are we buying but this is about how we can manage to keep with how the market moving .

I think for now, I have enough bitcoin I am holding which I bought when it was more cheaper, though I still bought some when the price of bitcoin was a bit higher, but overall, I am in profit ans I am no longer buying bitcoin, what I am focused on right now is getting some really good altcoin to invest in, I will hold my bitcoin for as long as it takes for the next bull run to come, and I plan to sell it when bitcoin reaches a new all time high, and then wait for the next bear season to start accumulating again.

Right now, what I am buying is altcoin, I am always on the look out for altcoins with good profit potentials, I plan to hold both bitcoin and those altcoin I currently have and will still buy, all through to the next bull run, sell them at all time high and then, start accumulating again when everything in the market start crashing again.

The bull rally has started because bitcoin moved from 18k to 20k, from 20k to 25k and then till particular price range and we still don't consider this as the bull rally, I have bought to my limit but wanting to know on what capacity could someone sell of their holdings do we solely rely on having our double money invested or what should take profits from when we think is good enough. If you think buying bitcoin still open for you then you should apply a DCA method which would help you to accumulates bitcoin gradually as well as the price will keep increasing or decreasing. DCA helps you to fill up to your budgets on what extent you can buy along side as the price keeps changing over time.

op When I invest in Bitcoin I definitely have a long term plan.  If we invest in Bitcoin patiently with a long-term plan, we will definitely be successful through it. Those who are new to Bitcoin invest in Bitcoin in a hurry without checking the market. Investment in Bitcoin cannot be rushed. If we check the market and invest patiently with a long-term plan, we will definitely get success through it.

I have small bitcoin already that I bought when the price were cheaper back then, that's what I plan to hold even after the bitcoin halving but there is a good opportunity even with the current price of bitcoin and it will be suitable to sell it as the price appreciate with cause of halving, there is money to be made with Bitcoin if you understand the dynamic of the market.

I have strong believe for Bitcoin to soar high but what I can't say is what will happen, last 3 days bitcoin dumped below 40k for the fist time since ETF hype kicked in and it was reported That Grayscale deposited some amount of bitcoin into coinbase custody which spark a lot of reactions and market dump. Now, imagine this people who have billions in bitcoin selling their bitcoin now, how do you get much confidence in the long run? That's why I can't really say what is coming next for Bitcoin price.

I started DCA BTC in 2022, when the price fell to $17K after Terra event, and am continuing DCA every week. Because the time BTC was at the bottom was quite long, I had the opportunity to buy a lot of BTC at low prices. Currently, I still have a profit of about 100%. This is a confirmation for the DCA strategy for potential assets like BTC. Even though it doesn't generate 900% returns like SOL, it's still pretty good for me.

According to market cyclicality, I expect that BTC will reach $150K in 2025 and I will start selling when BTC approaches that price range.

In fact, things are quite strong when it comes to how to have more bitcoin, everyone is still thinking about why bitcoin fell after the ETF was Approved ? If Everyone was blocking the opposite movement? How is this possible? Well, very simple, things can manifest themselves in that way because in the bitcoin market, sometimes everything Opposite to what we believe happens.

When we are looking for a way to have more bitcoin and if the price goes down , like right now, how often should we buy it? I think that with the most Possible it is much better that way, as I said before, most people thought that the price would go up, but it didn't , so if the opposite happens we must be very emphatic people in what we do and accept those designs, therefore the more we understand the more money we will have in the near Future , for me this year is going to be a great year for bitcoin to rise more.

but from 2022 I will only buy it and not sell it.

When our mindset is to invest in Bitcoin for the long term, yes, this is one strategy that we can apply. Because after all, we believe that Bitcoin will definitely be able to rise again, especially in the Bullrun later. Basically, whatever the strategy, whether with DCA or another strategy for accumulating Bitcoin from the start of the bearish period, it will definitely be very profitable when we hold until at least the next bullish era. As long as we are never tempted by small increases or panic when the market drops suddenly. So it really requires full patience when we hold for the long term.

Using DCA has been proven to be one of the best methods to acquire bitcoin over time, which I have also used quite sometimes now, and I have also recommended that for others, which I still do, but over the past few weeks, getting to the point where the network is congested, I don't see DCA as the best means to start accumulating bitcoin again.

I said the above because because you can buy a little with your small amount and try to withdraw it back to your private wallet from wherever you might have purchased it, the fee that you will be forced to pay will keep you on the losing side compared to how much you have used to buy bitcoin, unless you are going to use a centralised system and decide to hold it there for a long time until you have been able to accumulate more than enough to cover the fee expense.

DCA only works if you know if Bitcoin will surely increase on that price but take note greediness is also one of the reasons why holders and traders lose.

Since there is an upcoming event DCA would be a good strategy to buy cheap BTC and sell them once we see a new all-time high.

The problem with "sell them once we see a new  a new all-time high" is that we may keep seeing new all time highs every week in a bull market.

We may see a ATH when it reaches 66, then again on 67... it may go through some months.

I think the best exit strategy is to do something not very aggressive, selling just a few % of your portfolio every month when the price is very high. At most something like 20% in the same month... This is what I do.

I sold just a few last month to cover some of my month expensives (as we saw a great spike in the price).

Currently, the value of Bitcoin has increased significantly. In that case if I buy bitcoin now I will hold it for long term investment. I will wait until the bull market comes. The value of Bitcoin will increase even more in the future, which makes it wise to hold Bitcoin. So I also want to hold Bitcoin.

wow so you are holding now for at least 2 years? and have you bought when the price drops to 15k ? that is truly amazing chance that I missed because there are certain problem about funds when it happened and I cannot purchase any amount until the price rose back again to above 20k.

Much easier said than done. What kind of patience and discipline do you need to have to wait for the $100k mark? Not everyone can do this. I personally am not given this. I am not endowed with patience. I understand perfectly well that I need to work on myself in this regard, but it turns out so-so. To be honest, I have already tried quite a lot of different techniques in this matter, but the result is still disappointing.

Almost, I don't perceive a DCA strategy. Everyone praises it, forgetting one thing. What if the price is at its peak (let's say a year)? Will you buy? Thank you, I'd rather refrain from this venture.

I buy only when the price is at least -20% from its high. You never know where the bottom was. If there is instability in life, it is better to give up any kind of investing. I believe that investing makes life worse for most. There are no guarantees that you will receive a stable income.

P.S. Exclusively my strategy, how you act - decide for yourself. Do not forget to fix the income.  8)

Yes, I use DCA method to make more profit.

DCA is only used to accumulate Bitcoin as much as possible until the bull run comes. Investing during a bull run doesn't mean that you should keep investing even when the prices are at their highest. When you sense that the prices will soon reach a new ATH or a correction is imminent, it's not the right time to buy more. At that stage, the goal should be to take our profits instead of buying more. Those who use the DCA method are likely to know this already. They are probably not focusing on investing but also consider making a profit.

If you are timing your buys, are you even doing DCA? I mean, the point of using DCA is so you don't have to follow the market and obsses everyday about the price, and if you start doing that by avoiding buying when price is high, you are negating one of the main advantages of DCA.

I personally keep buying on the regular basis no matter the current price. It used to be every 2 weeks, but now with the increased fees I am doing it once per month on the specific date no matter the price.

If you are timing your buys, are you even doing DCA? I mean, the point of using DCA is so you don't have to follow the market and obsses everyday about the price, and if you start doing that by avoiding buying when price is high, you are negating one of the main advantages of DCA.

I use DCA too every 2 weeks, It's useful.
I personally believe this method is a good thing.
But Sometimes I bought manually in spot, when I get profit from my investment.
Not bit fund, but regularly.
At this time, I will buy and buy until I fee enough to collect bitcoin and altcoins.

How often do you buy and how long do you plan to hold bitcoins?

Should You Use DCA Method When You Buy Bitcoins Can Bitcoin Investing Using DCA Method Be Profitable?

How high are you planning to invest Bitcoin and sell it, are you prepared to wait until the bull market???

TBH, I just buy and hold bitcoin when the price goes down and will hold until bullish season the next year.
Yeah I will hold untill bull market, But I also do daily trading to gain daily profit.
If you asked How often to buy bitcoin, not often.
Just see the market condition, when down I will buy more and hold.

I have bought the Bitcoin already when the price was low, and will still hold it until next year. I will hold it after the bull season, after the second quarter of next year.

Yes, I use DCA method to make more profit.

You are asking in terms of how regular one buys Bitcoin, not regular. Only when I feel the price is low .

I think almost everyone of us usually get to buy or invest in Bitcoin on an occasional event, since this is not what we need to be buying each time without first making adequate research first about the market, then maybe we could agree that the traders can engage on this kind of buying each time because they buy and sell while exchanging with other currency pairs, the market indicators should be our own personal signal in knowing when to buy or not due to the performance we see bitcoin having on it chart after making research.

Yeah , I have used DCA method to buy bitcoin, I set in every week to buy.
I think It's really useful.
I will hold my bitcoin until bull market, maybe will see next year.
I think At this time , still the best time to buy more.

This is not about what and how much are we buying but this is about how we can manage to keep with how the market moving .

Not easy to keep with how the market moving.
We always see the market and learn the chart.
Holding  is always  a good way to do, If we want to gain big profit.
Agreed if yo said it's not about how much we are buying, but don't forget we must buy at the right time , when the price is low and we think we can gain profit from this value.
Investing is how to manage our fund to buy and sell,  because we know  crypto currency market is volatile and unpredictable.

As I have said, DCA, which is often used, is a type of strategy to increase Bitcoin holdings in the long run. But it does not only mean that you should continue buying Bitcoin without stopping. The very use of DCA is to accumulate Bitcoin in small amounts while its price is low. The decision to stop accumulating Bitcoin depends on the investor himself. It is up to their decision to determine whether they have accumulated enough Bitcoin, or if it's time to take profits from their investment.

wow so you are holding now for at least 2 years? and have you bought when the price drops to 15k ? that is truly amazing chance that I missed because there are certain problem about funds when it happened and I cannot purchase any amount until the price rose back again to above 20k.
congrats for that.

and please continue Holding now and lets enjoy the process while waiting for our victory when bitcoin finally reached 100k and above.
It is about attitude and character mate , while you cannot Keep the patience on and maybe selling each time  , many of us still can handle Holding and those that we believe in what Bitcoin can bring us in the future.
specially now that we are near Halving and not so long to taste the victory ? why not join us mate at least for a year or 2 waiting? i know its not your thing but there is nothing we can lose if we will trust bitcoin as we have seen its capacity over the years.

Well, they buy when there is an active bull market. The essence of the strategy is to buy at the same time x-asset (bitcoin in our case). Let's say a year, a person buys (every month) and then we see -30% on the asset. What will happen to the deposit in this case? Better, a few times, but when the asset has made -20-40% of its maximum. It's best not to listen to anyone. The best strategy, buy where everyone is screaming and sell when everyone is expecting 100k for 1 bitcoin.

P.S. If anyone is new to the market, it's best to observe from the sidelines. Than to believe in cosmic growth. And look for some strategies. ???

Hold for two years , it's too long but invest in bitcoin is for long term investment ,if you want gain huge profit.
Short term is just alternate method to gain profit.
Wait until bitcoin hit $ 100.

You know that I rarely buy Bitcoin at the moment. Although the campaign I am part of is paying me in Bitcoin, it is not my priority to collect. Instead, I buy other top altcoins and hold them for the long term, which I do with DACA for now.

Then I'm sure that the cryptocurrency that I'm holding right now will give me earnings because I've witnessed several times how it kept up during the bull run, and the others are only now able to face the bull that I also know can keep up with other potential cryptocurrencies in the market.

These are just your assumptions and nothing more. I would like such confidence, but for some reason I don’t feel it. It’s much easier for me to go with the flow, that is, to trade at a moment in time following the trend. Why did I choose this approach? There is no such large capital to count on huge profits. How long will it take me to collect enough money to live purely on interest? Wow, this will take me more than one year.

I do not buy bitcoin for now. I even sold some and waiting for some weeks to halving, like two weeks to halving before I will accumulate more. I do not know if the market would be more bearish this time or not, so I just wait and looking at what would happen. Some weeks like 2 or 3 weeks to halving would be a better time to accumulate more bitcoin.

We all have different strategies and approach. Some people will still continue to DCA which is a very good idea.

The current moment is indeed very good to buy as much Bitcoin as you can because so far the price has collapsed again and provides a very good opportunity for whales to buy again before the Halving approaches. Using the DCA method is not always accurate, Bitcoin price movements are very difficult to predict and of course this is very high risk. What is important for me when trading is being able to control my emotions so that I am not easily influenced by market conditions which might collapse when there is bad news circulating.

As at this present moment, I don't expect someone to be on a rush in buying bitcoin except they are putting into consideration with the use of DCA, hence we should wait and see the way the market is going to land before making our investment, as of the recent performance, we have been having a little dip but a resistance has always been raised against $38,000 to maintain it range between $40,000 and above.

It cant be said that I buy Bitcoin frequently, do it on purpose or have set some kind of an auto buy in my wallet. But I can say that all the crypto I receive from retrodrops, competitions, bonuses, stacking and etc, I immediately convert in BTC and wait. I would call it whenever it is possible, I increase the amount of BTC I hold. Why I do? Because I have move believe in it than into altcoins. How often I do it? When I have totally free funds. Why I dont buy crypto with fiat? Because I think I have bought enough and now it is holding time.

For me, I think all the questions asked have been answered by you. DCA strategy is obviously the best strategy and that's what I have been using and I believe almost all if not half of the fraction of persons in the crypto market is also on use of this method. For the actual time to sell my coins, I think selling when the bull run arrives although it's always tricky to actually know the exact time to sell off coins but for me I know I will definitely sell off during the peak of the bull run and then wait for the bear season that comes after the bull to come so I can start HODLing again.

I personally don't buy Bitcoin, signature campaign helps me get it through investing my precious time and effort. Duration of hodling might depend on how strong my hand is. 😅 But for now I will just keep it and maybe until 2025 if another ATH will come I think reaping the profit is the best thing to do. It is actually too early to speculate.

Absolutely! And weekly Bitcoin rewards from signature campaigns may serve as DCA. Yes DCA is profitable and safe.

How high are you planning to invest Bitcoin and sell it, are you prepared to wait until the bull market???
This depends on how much I can accumulate Bitcoins from sigs until bull run comes. Yes and this is my own way of preparing as stated on my first answer above maybe 2025 as it seems the next bull run will probably happen.

Unfortunately, not everyone has a method like yours. Many out there don't know about campaigns like this that can produce Bitcoin without having to buy it, so currently,

People prefer to have Bitcoin instantly by buying it on an exchange. I think this is the right way because, logically, when everyone relies on a campaign to get Bitcoin, no one wants to buy it, and that means Bitcoin will not have a high selling value because interest is reduced, whereas when someone buys Bitcoin on an exchange, it will provide a higher exchange value. getting higher every year.

I don't really buy Bitcoin constantly, I just buy Bitcoin whenever I have funds. Sometimes, I only buy Bitcoin 1-2 times a month, I'm waiting for the best time to buy Bitcoin. The current dump seems a good time to buy Bitcoin, it even dropped to $38k. I think it is a good rate to collect more Bitcoin. I predict that the Bitcoin price won't go lower than $38k, it will raise again above $40k very soon.

I will hold until Q1 or Q2 of 2025, I guess it will be the time of the peak of Bitcoin price.

I guess this also the right time to keep your investing on bitcoin going. By using DCA strategies to accumulate more because we go to buy the dip, if it dip again I will still buy till the upcoming bullish run. Then you see the profit you will accumulate that time after using the DCA method.
All you got to do just keep on accumulating more BTC and hodl.

That's right, I'm in no hurry. Let the price better correct by -20%-35% - then I can consider buying. Don't forget that the market is cyclical. Are you strictly following the DCA strategy? Do you buy every week/month at x-time? Better time to dial position When there will be panic in the market. And everyone will be afraid to buy crypto assets.

P.S. Interesting stats about bitcoin wallets (mostly owned by exchanges).

These days people trade on bitcoin to make income or profit so buying Bitcoin depends on the market conditions and it is most favorable when the Bitcoin market is very low to start with because buying low would definitely give you profit when you sell high. So in that case, many people tend to buy in line with the market trend to make much profit. With the much speculation and anticipation in increase in Bitcoin price, people are currently purchasing more Bitcoin to hold unto so they could realise more profit from their sales when due. As for me, I am hodling for a long term after gradually accumulating my Bitcoin through purchase and earnings.

Not bad ideas with your income from signature campaign hold it for long term and likely the same way with your accumulate bitcoin in weekly, but seems small fund based on your current active signature campaign and you have looking for other side income and use to purchase bitcoin in weekly or you can buy bitcoin in monthly. Its not problem with how long have to hold bitcoin assets depend with your typical diamond hand or not, for me if not any urgency needed will hold and keep save my bitcoin for long term investment assets.
Do you have ideas for selling after halving? or keep waiting until 2025 for selling all your bitcoin investment with possibility price of bitcoin above $60k keep sell it.

I don't buy BTC, I never invested my personal money in BTC, I only earned BTC till now. As you know we got payments in BTC and I spend some part of it on my needs and the remaining part is used to hold, as it is already in BTC form so no need to convert. I just hold onto the BTC. The amount I hold in BTC is weekly based, so you can say I am doing DCA. But the amount is not fixed for this.

I sometimes use more BTC for personal needs and sometimes I don't even touch them. If I have to calculate the average I will say I use 2 weeks payment and use 2 weeks payment as investment in BTC. DCA is the most profitable method if you are planning to hold for long period of time. I might sell some part of my holding when BTC will make ATH of this year, more than $48k maybe and then I will take entry again. But I am not quite sure about market. I will definitely wait for bull run.

There seems to be something wrong with what you mentioned. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is at $40k; if you buy at $50k, it seems like it's taking too long to wait. Meanwhile, when you have a target to sell Bitcoin at $100k, there is a chance for it to happen, but it doesn't. Does anyone know when that could happen? The most important thing is to collect as many Bitcoins as you can because the total supply of Bitcoins is increasingly limited and it is increasingly difficult to get them.

My plans for BTC at the current moment are the same as of the most people, which is to buy them and hold them long enough that I would make 3x to 5x from it. I know making 5x from it is a little bit hard by keeping the current situation in mind but still hoping is good for us. I don't really know what will happen to the BTC price after halving.
Should You Use DCA Method When You Buy Bitcoins Can Bitcoin Investing Using DCA Method Be Profitable?

          -   Of course, DCA is important, and many people have used that method in the past few years in this industry field. Even if I use it, the others don't know that they are already doing DCA, but they can accumulate Bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

But in my personal doing here in the crypto business, I am not able to save Bitcoin; instead, another cryptocurrency is prioritized if saved and held until the bull run because I believe that I will get better earnings in the future through altcoins.

Just few days after your post Bitcoin fall down to 38 k again so better that this is the timing you are waiting to invest more mate?

Not much but continously.
Before halving will accumulate Bitcoin in my wallet, and after halving I will add potential altcoins.
it's my plan because I want to face altcoin season after bitcoin halving.
I have bought ethereum, BNB, Ripple , Solana, Polkadot.

Polygon  matic and LINK , I want to buy both when bitcoin correction happen.

Just few days after your post Bitcoin fall down to 38 k again so better that this is the timing you are waiting to invest more mate?
DCA is very effective in these scenarios we won't miss every opportunity especially during the dip.

Long term? then you don't have to worry because for sure bitcoin will bring you to top in every 4 years .

but this will happen if you are completely willing to wait for such time and will not fall in wrong decision such shitcoins.
Yeah I agree. Patience will be our best partner in this long term investment we have. Actually we cannot hodl Bitcoins for long if we don't have stable source of income because we might end up selling all of it for for some reason.

I don't have a pattern for buying Bitcoin, I only buy it when I do have extra money to spend on it, and if I don't have any extra, I don't push myself to purchase it. It really depends on my salary and extra income, but I don't have a plan for selling it unless it is needed for an emergency and I don't have money. Right now I will hold it as long as it reaches my target price, but I won't sell it all. I will still hold some of it for the future.

It's a good thing to buy if you have extra money which is the same as DCA. Buying or using DCA to accumulate more Bitcoin is a good investment strategy until the bull run comes. Many people, including myself, use this strategy, but the difference is that I make it a priority to invest in Bitcoin, rather than only doing so if I have extra money. I ignore adding money to my investment in the meantime and focus solely on investing. This way, I can increase the quantity of my investment while we are still in the accumulation stage.

DCA, Dollar Cost Averaging, is applicable for bear market and bull market. If you only think DCA is good for bear market, it is wrong because in a bull market, you can do DCA and get profit. The key with DCA is you have to schedule your income, expense and available capital for investment through DCA as well as time length of your investment. You must hold your coins long enough to see DCA helps your investment portfolio grows in value and profit.

https://hodl.camp/

Applying DCA with time length of your investment like 5 years is good to get profit and exclude risk of loss.

My target is to buy till $50k
and sell after $100k
i believe my target will fulfill in next coming year
Exactly your planing is good. I am also buying Bitcoin and i also buy Bitcoin till April thats means till Bitcoin halving. After halving i will stop buying Bitcoin. And then i will hold it for next bull session i think within 2025 we will saw real bull session. And i then i will sell my Bitcoin which i am Holding.
I Think within 2025 Bitcoin price Will hit minimum $100k. And i want to hold till that. Because i am buying Bitcoin from $21k. If i sell it price at $100k i will get minimum 3x profit average.

I didn't buy Bitcoin for quit a long time. but I've been trying my best to earn as much as possible from anywhere I can. i think this is the best thing for now. instead of buying bitcoin using your hard earned money it is better to earn Bitcoin and other altcoins. Since there is so much earning opportunities in crypto world. i don't think if you are a smart person you would need to invest from your own pocket. yes converting stablecoins into bitcoin is a good way too.
If it's like a supplemental income, fine. But if it's the main one and the income is small. What is there to live for? I agree that there are a lot of opportunities. But without investing personal funds, it's going to be difficult. Or if I invest my personal funds, am I not a smart person? What about asset diversification?

P.S. In my understanding, you need a financial cushion for life to start with. For the first year at least, but more is better. And after that, you can try investing in bitcoins and the rest of the cryptocurrency. This is something that everyone must decide - for their own favorable future.  8)

Let's make it clear. I didn't say that DCA is effective during a bear market only, nor did I say that DCA during a bull run will not make gains in profits. The success of DCA depends on the individual investor's strategy and where they feel most comfortable investing, as well as when they choose to re-enter the market after realizing profits.

Using DCA strategy and planning to hold for a specific number of years will not be the requirement to make a good profit but instead, it's about our own decision to sell our investments once the market starts to rally. The timing of selling your investments is what most important to maximizing your profit.

Yeah,   I agree with this statement
The success of DCA depends on the individual investor's strategy and where they feel most comfortable investing.
We should have good strategy in crypto currency.
DCA is just method, but everything depends on own strategy.
I like buying bitcoin , but not very often.  Sometimes once a week, I didn't use DCA, just manually

So, dont be panic when drop.
But For now, I think we didnt need along time to hold.
We can hold until next year, we will see bullish season.
actually instead of panicking when there is a drop of price then better to take this chance to buy more , imagine big discount for that moment when after that dump for sure there will be rise again.

Of course I'm willing to hold until the Bitcoin bull market, so I definitely follow the DCA method when buying Bitcoin. The DCA approach is followed because Bitcoin minimizes losses and helps reduce a lot of risk.
I have kept my investment for two years as per the past halving Bitcoin price will definitely increase in 2025 and I will be ready to reap the benefits. So all invest for long term and all reap the benefits.

I see many investors here prefer DCA when buying bitcoin, I think this is the right way. I also use it all this time. Like. Many people say this method is safer. And we can buy every week , its good way to do.

This is the most correct approach for investing, and all historical facts confirm this. The main thing is not to miss your chance. I hope that before the end of this year we will be able to assess our capabilities, although the peak of Bitcoin prices is predicted for next year.

The DCA strategy is a popular way to accumulate bitcoins in our portfolio. Especially for investors who have small capital and only rely on their salary to buy bitcoin and aspire to hold bitcoin when it reaches ATH again.

Weekly allocation is a safer way, I agree with that. Usually investors who rely on their income every month will allocate a few percent of their income to buy bitcoin. and now I also hear and read a lot from the experiences of those who already have a decent bitcoin in their portfolio.

It differs from person to person. One may buy 2 times in one day with less amount of money while another could buy 2 times a month with a larger amount of money. But in order to call it DCA, it needs to be done after a fixed amount of time with a fixed amount of money.
So how often one should buy in this market depends on what he has been doing in the past. He needs to continue the same strategy if he wants to continue doing DCA.

And yes, DCA could be profitable but as always with Bitcoin investment, you need to wait and find the right time to sell in order to book your profit.

Lastly, the time for selling! It also depends on the person. If you have a higher target, you should wait till the target is reached. If not, sell little by little. While keep on buying in the lower market as well.

I have long term planning with weekly accumulation for investing in bitcoin, not care with current price on the high or lower because my target keep investing every week until several years later and my financial keep supported for accumulating. I think if some one scare with weekly or monthly for investing and accumulating bitcoin, they will hold their moment for re investing when bitcoin in the higher price and directly difficult to get investment with bitcoin in lower price.
Make more delay for investing in bitcoin will have bigger opportunity for us investing in bitcoin with lower price, halving have been in front of us and why still scare keep accumulate for investing in bitcoin?

Yeah that's a good choice mate, it doesn't really.matter the price you get it or you are using for purchase nor the market movement, just a focus on more accumulation  to one's portfolio and that's more of a DCA buying  strategy

The DCA strategy is really good, I also use this, we can set when we will buy bitcoin. I don't buy often, only 2 times a week, my assets are not that big because I am only a small investor. If you say you often buy Bitcoin, no. If I had a lot of money maybe I would buy more

How often do you buy and how long do you plan to hold bitcoins?
About once a month, and TBH, I lessened the total amount of Bitcoins that I'm buying because I'm focusing right now on altcoins. In the last 2 years, I heavily investing in Bitcoin, focused on it, and now is the time that I put more money on altcoins that I believe will give me more profit coming bull run. How long do I plan to hold my Bitcoins? I'll sell around 95% of them during the bull run. 5% will be held for a very long time (a gift for my kid maybe).

Should You Use DCA Method When You Buy Bitcoins Can Bitcoin Investing Using DCA Method Be Profitable?
DCA is profitable ONLY IN THE LONG RUN.

How high are you planning to invest Bitcoin and sell it, are you prepared to wait until the bull market???
I might stop buying Bitcoin after the halving event and will focus more on altcoins. How high will I sell it? I'll sell when the price reaches 6 digits and will sell more if it goes even higher. Am I prepared? I'm already prepared since the start of the bear market. :D My hands are ready already for a long time to sell my Bitcoins, and other altcoins. :D

        -   Maybe as long as I can buy Bitcoin, I will do it; besides, there is no choice of days or weeks when we buy Bitcoin. As long as you have the opportunity to buy,
I will. The same goes for other cryptocurrencies that know if they can give me earnings.

So like others there, it's not my priority to focus on Bitcoin to save it; instead, I'm doing dca with other cryptocurrencies with the assets I have right now. But if there is still too much, I can still allocate it to Bitcoin.

I am now investing every week in Bitcoin using the DCA method.  Definitely want to hold my investment for the upcoming bull market.  If we can invest in bitcoins and stay ahead of the upcoming bull market, then our investment will definitely be successful. Success never comes without hard work or without taking risks. The more you take risks, the more successful you will be.  It is not only necessary to invest, but you must align yourself with the investment and move forward for the market.  ষ্টওIf you can be accepted as a good investor by holding the investment, then you are a good investor.

Your choice is always to invest in Bitcoin is a very smart choice because the price of Bitcoin will always increase from year to year due to the influence of Bitcoin supply which is increasingly limited and makes it difficult for miners to find Bitcoin. When you have bought it, you should be able to save and record all purchases so that the profits you get can be managed properly.
