Title: Welcome to Altcoinstalks, Satoshi.
Post by: KingsDen on January 20, 2024, 11:58:08 PM
I have seen SatoshiNakamoto (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=41064) in the Altcoinstalks forum. When he reappeared, theymos refused to grant him access to the Bitcointalk forum. He then came here and was gladly accepted. Welcome back Satoshi!

Are there no reserved words in the forum? I think username like Satoshi shouldn't be assigned anyone.

Who's he? Not sure if this is a real satoshi obviously someone just created an account with that name and no need to be welcomed anyway. :P

I think it's free to use any name, but we know Satoshi is unlikely to appear, so let's just assume it's a wild person. Lol

Hey buddy, I hope you were drunk when you wrote that. How is the real Satoshi going to be? What a bombshell! Satoshi reappears on altcoinstalk.org! Let's see if he disavows bitcoin and starts defending centralised, infinite supply altcoins.

Joking aside, I also agree with the OP that certain names should not be allowed to be established as usernames.

That guy isn't Satoshi Nakamoto but an impostor who used name of Satoshi to register an account at this forum. I think this thread is more like a humor based thread than a real thing. I hope admin of the forum should take some action against that account so that he won't be able to scam anyone in the name of Satoshi Nakamoto.

mmh! It wouldn't be so bad if we let them use that nickname, since surely when asking for KYC they would have no problem doing it, of course, Satoshi Nakamoto would have no problem doing it, nor would he have a problem logging in on any website where his IP can be traced.
(obvious sarcasm here)

You said so...

I think this thread is more like a humor based thread than a real thing.
Good you understood this...

I hope admin of the forum should take some action against that account so that he won't be able to scam anyone in the name of Satoshi Nakamoto.
That's also my expectations and that's why I created this thread but no admin or moderator has said anything yet. It seems admin is more active on the chat than on meta (forum related).

For times I agree with you because the name Satoshi Nakamoto is something sacred.
Although we don't know who is the founder of Bitcoin, but we all know that Satoshi Nakamoto is a figurative name for the creator of Bitcoin.
Maybe it's the same as the word that has the prefix "Admin", this must be aimed at the correct member as an admin in a certain project or environment, for example:
- Admin*Project A = Admin-Pluto
- Admin*Project B = Admin-Mars
- Admin*Project C = Admin-Venus

This is only my opinion because the name "Admin" is indeed a name on a particular project and in this forum it might be said to be a representative of the project. Cheersss Plutonium  ;D
