Before this time, almost Korean investors really worried about new tax policy for cryptocurrency.
That's why all news said the government will apply 3~40%taxes for crypto at Jul~Aug.
But today, the government said we will apply 10~15%taxes for crypto like interest income tax, and it is very acceptable to all Korean investors.
Also they said we feel hard to say it will happen within this year and although will happen this year, there will be 1~2years stay period.

It is a good sign mate. The governments should accept or legalize bitcoin , because It is the future technology. It will be needed in the future.

Good to know. I think clarity on taxation is one of the major concerns that investors have, so having governments solidify their position can only be a positive move. South Korea has one of the largest crypto communities, and some of the higher volume exchanges, so hopefully the news can help to steady the markets.

I believe it can be adopted everywhere but it's not really meant to be used as a currency in that way. Some places will accept it as such but it'll be another coin that hasn't come along yet to ultimately be used for day to day transactions. Bitcoin's price volatility will likely prevent it from ever realistically being used as a currency.

I think It is a good news. Bitcoin is the future technology, Every country should.accept bitcoin, because It will be needed in the future.

Yes, I know that this is a true news and i have heard it a few days ago from one of my South Korean friend. This is really a positive step by the government. I think this step should be followed by all government due to mutual benefits. If we have support from the government, then there will be nothing to stop crypto.
