The guy wanted to save freedom of speech ::) Doesn't look like he have much himself :-XI had admired Elon in the past and obviously wished to be like him. He is among the smartest humans, proactive and a strategic thinker. I can also call him a manipulator. But at a time I fell out of love with him. That was when he fought our dear bitcoin by accepting in in his Tesla projects and later on embarrassing bitcoin on the premise of power consumption just to disorganize and trouble the cryptocurrency market after making huge profits.
one of the most important for sure, but controversy is his middle name ;D
I consider Elon Musk to be a controversial figure all because he is all over the news, in different platforms and he is not shy to make his opinions and ideas known to the world. Instead of deflecting the limelight, he is enjoying it and this fact alone make him more hated by some and loved by many. The man is not perfect...but who among his critics are perfect? Elon Musk is a man of actions and he has had contributed a lot to the society even compared to silent type CEOs around. Surely, we may have our own ideas on how he should be conducting his business but there is no doubt that Elon is making us see that this is his time and he is making full advantage of it. Flawed and controversial, Elon Musk no doubt is one of the men or women that really matter...whether you agree or immensely disagree with him.
unfortunately the cult of personality is strong. He didn't invent anything, and he is not so smart like it was being presented to people.
he is pushing some technology forward, which is a good thing.
but he wants to be involved in everything. And often real transparency is lacking, especially for someone of his status.

He didn't create paypal, and he didn't create tesla, like most people think, research this better and you will see what happened with previous owners.
Just to mention that he came from rich family and he needs to be involved in everything because his masters told him to do it, just watch his last visits to find them ;)
I'm surprised to know that Elon musk didn't invent anything and including the famous Tesla that is highly associated to him. Well, even if he didn't invent all these, he should just be regarded to be a wise man, if haven't invented anything and yet he is widely known as the inventor. It takes smartness to accomplish the fit.unfortunately the cult of personality is strong. He didn't invent anything, and he is not so smart like it was being presented to people.

However he did found spaceX, and reusable rockets are pretty cool, however i wonder it there's no more efficient ways - i'm too dumb to understand or argue rocket scienceYeah right, ''space'' is the biggest and most profitable show business in the world :P
but i'll say the guy have great contributions (whether he's a free person or just a puppet)

Clown. Pardon, rich clown. You don't like Trump? I think people fail to realize that it doesn't matter who sits in that seat labeled President. Everything is controlled by the house and Senate. President is basically a puppet. Democrat or Republican doesn't matter. It's the agenda behind the scenes that matter, that we the general public don't really pay attention to.but i'll say the guy have great contributions (whether he's a free person or just a puppet)
I see him as the same clown as Donald Trump. Yes, it is a little more sophisticated and younger, of course, which makes it much more adaptable to technology and modern things.
When he was shilling for DOGE, he behaved like a jerk. Later he tried to manipulate Bitcoin, but it didn't go as he thought.
Does anyone remember his posing while taking over Twitter?

Anybody here from Indonesia? He's trending in the last few days due to the recent Starlink launch in Indonesia. I don't think people talk much about him though, most of the tweets that I've seen are focused more on how fast Starlink is. Maybe the algorithm is just biased and tailored specifically for me. I read some news that recaps what he talked about at the ceremony. As far as I can see, it just shows his confidence that his product is going to be popular, and the government seems to appreciate him. Probably due to his speech about the possibility of investing in Indonesia for the future.
Speaking of Musk though, guy has done some good for the world although most would view him as an egotistical prick. If you had his money, would you be any better?
