Title: How to win the never sleep badge.
Post by: philipma1957 on January 25, 2024, 05:14:31 AM
So I read all the badges I have.

I notice no one has the never sleep badge.

Do I need a post every hour for 25 hours to win it?

I figure is must be hard to win one as no one has it.

Lol, I remember discussing that one with other members before. I guess that takes close to 24 hours being online on the forum but I don't know about post intervals (maybe 1 per hour could work). Are you really planning to set the history with that? Unless you have insomnia, there is not enough incentive to be sacrificing sleep.

I did now know we had this badge, I actually give a glanced at all the badges, and in that section, it did not explain the "Never Sleep" Badge, by the way, I was confused at first by reading it as "sleep badge" but upon searching I found it is "never sleep" badge. Well, by the meaning of this post (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=183149.msg1014037#msg1014037), we have to remain active 24 hours.

But still, I don't understand, like on BTT we can remain online for more than 24 hours all we have to do is keep our profile open, can't we do that here? Or do we have to keep posting for like 24 hours? If you will make 25 posts in a day then you will get "25 posts badge".

Earning badges, especially the good ones, is great. However, how does keeping the profile active with an active data connection for 24 hours sounds, as @philipma1957 had mentioned?.

I have a feeling this badge is meant to be an enigma so we probably won't get precise answer from the admin or anyone in the knows

The description is also vague

Be on the forum for longer periods of time

I don't know how one can earn that badge and I really don't care much about the badges anyway but I have noticed that you have earned so many badges almost 18 badges in the fastest period ever. I'm sure you'll earn that badge as well.

Only admin or some  reputed members of the forum can give you a proper answer that how to acquire that badge or maybe someone who currently has that badge. I'm sure the ones who are active most of the time on this forum may get that badge.

I have come across a few discussions revolving around the question of how to earn a "never sleep" badge. This badge has remained a mystery since 2020, and even the admin has not been able to acquire it, despite appearing to be constantly active. Some speculate that the badge may be earned by being active 24/7, but this is practically impossible for anyone as we are only human. Others suggest that the badge may be earned by leaving your account active for an extended period of time, but this is unlikely to be the answer since simply leaving your account idle for a long time does not count as active.

I think it is difficult to get that badge, but not impossible, I think you wrote 25 by mistake because we have 24 hours a day and how and in what logic do 25 hours make sense? I am not well aware of this forum's badges but this badge does not matter that much even in my view not every badge is of great importance only the ranks and other good badges that show under your rank matter most.

It is great that the admin has made a list for all badges like who has them or not although the list is not very easily understandable still it is a good thing for analysis purposes. I think we should focus on getting more better ranks, but this one looks rare so I will also look into it. Thanks for bringing it in front of my eyes.
