Back in November 2017 when Cryptokitties game was launched, the reception was massive and within a space of one year, Game-Fi project became an household name in the blockchain industry.
Hopes were raised in 2018 as Axie infinity AXS was launched because it gained widespread popularity and Game-Fi projects became the main focus due to its P2E features. Other Game-Fi project like Decentraland MANA also did excellently well but it wasn't too long before the narrative changed and things gradually started falling apart. Tokens like AXS and MANA that have surged significantly gradually dipped and since then, the narrative for Game-Fi project has changed while on the other hand AI tokens has seen an increase in adoption.
While doing some studies on new and evolving game projects, I crossed path with DGI and am quite impressed with the team ambition to revolutionize the gaming industry. DGI is a pioneering project in the gaming guild space with a focus to reward every investors bountifully while creating an exhilarating experience for users. Their guild DGG owns and operate millions of dollars in gaming assets, including a significant stake in the Big Time Game.
The team desire to evolve into a game studio token by acquiring and developing top web3 games creating a diverse and lucrative gaming portfolio while reshaping how gaming income is perceived and earn stroke me as to whether they have what it takes to revitalize the Game-Fi industry.
Though the market cap is still relatively low but their has been significant improvement and partnership with top brands of which Bitget is the latest showing support for the project token by listing the native token DGI on their platform.
While I am thinking this project has a great potential in the long-run, I couldn't help but think about the narrative of other top Game-Fi project, Do you think we can get that former vibe of Game-Fi project or the era of Game-Fi projects are over?

I think anything can happen in the crypto space this year, due to the hype from halving and most projects building so as to catch-up with the frenzy. Haven't really heard about DGI, But since it's listed on the cex I interact with, I'll probably check it out and revert.
