Post by: Mr. Allcrypto on February 13, 2024, 06:59:11 AM
Entrepreneurship is the act of creating or extracting of economic values in ways that generally involve  some amount of risk (assumed by a local business), and potentially involving values besides simply economic ones.
Furthermore, we can say that the process of setting up a business(mini or large) is known as "entrepreneurship".
An  entrepreneur is someone who create's or innovate ideas with the goal of earning financially or gaining economic value.
In our day to day activities, we tend to see how people do businesses to stand financially, Some creates new idea to earn while others been inspired by people's idea create their personal or joint businesses with the goal of extracting economic value, or earning financially.

The benefits of entrepreneurship In Nigeria is, most entrepreneurs are independent and they don't rely on salaries because of their business ideas that are profitable to them. As an entrepreneur one can also become and employer which will be paying employees for their services to his business, and we also have many big entrepreneurs in Nigeria up till date, in terms of Aliko Dangote, Azikiel etc.., which are successful.

In order to be a successful entrepreneur, one must set some goals to be earned and also should not be tied down by one particular means of doing things. Creativity is another means of becoming a successful entrepreneur; you must be creative and also find your passion to create positive ideologies. In everything you do, there must be some Up's and Down's which will affect your idea either positively or negatively, so in order to overcome this, you have to have a creative mindset of doing business and also devote your time and be hardworking to achieve your goals in life...

Funfact!! Hardwork still pays 😉...

Enterpreneurship is a driving force of the Nigerian economy as no country can grow without the presence of small businesses and the organised private sector.

However, enterpreneurs are currently having a difficult time here in Nigeria. The cost of running businesses have doubled more than 500%. The cost of power, transportation and rent have discouraged lots of enterpreneurs

As glamorous as entrepreneurship sounds it is still not for everyone. There are some individuals who will do better working for others than trying to run and manage a business on their own. This is because there's a lot of risk and responsibility that an entrepreneur takes on and many individuals who like to answer the title of entrepreneurs will not be able to take up that challenge and responsibility.

Building yourself as a proper and successful entrepreneur requires hard work, because success is never achieved overnight. Many of us see overnight success and this misconception is born in us. But we don't try to know the many nights of hard work behind the success. It is very difficult to achieve success if you depend on luck. A successful entrepreneur gives his best in everything. If you put in your best efforts to achieve your goals, you have no reason to be disappointed. Success will catch up with you at some point. But you must always have the power of patience and you must exercise this patience everywhere.

I personally think everyone can be an entrepreneur. Every one can buy and sell but some are more privileged depending on their background and experiences. Some are from a family of enterpreneurs while others will have to start from scratch

In Nigeria I think prominent individuals should support enterpreneurs in their localities. Senators, Rep members can as well support enterpreneurs from their constituencies by giving seedlings to farmers, knife, tractors and so on

There is no excuse to say that others are more privileged than others when it comes to entrepreneurship because everyone starts from somewhere the families you are referring to as being more privileged someone paid the price so you have to pay the price for your unborn generations to come and how you can do that is by going the way of entrepreneurship you have to start somewhere and learn what it takes to own a business and managing it including taking risk when necessary so wether you don't have to say that some people are more privileged when it comes to entrepreneurship because in the Nigerian environment that we find ourselves today the only way to be successful is through entrepreneurship
