Cbdc's are going to be very popular around the world in a few years, cbdc's are not too different from fiat, but it will give more control to the government and zero privacy for citizens who are going to use it. Many governments are going to be in a rush to launch this, it makes it easier for them to monitor how their citizens spend money and on what. I don't recommend cbdc, if i want to use any digital currency, it is going to be a decentralized currency like BTC that is permissionless and censorship resistant.
