Did you see the new jersey for Bulgarian club Botev Plovdid?
They added Bitcoin logo everywhere and they are publicly talking about that on their website.
You can order their shirt for 50€ to 60€, add any name and number, they are accepting international shipping.

You can pay anything with Bitcoin there!

From the little research I have done on Bulgaria, I could deduce that the government of Bulgaria holds no law or restrictions on Crypto transactions and as a matter of fact organisations and individuals are fully into crypto currency and are accepting Bitcoin for payment of goods and services. Further findings shows that 213,519 BTC was seized held in the custody of the Bulgarian government.
With the above, I have no doubt about the possibility of this club accepting Bitcoin for payment of tickets to watch their live matches and also to pay for this Jersey's beautifully designed. I see and applaud them for this singular act they have done by making their intentions towards Bitcoin been known. I believe this is a big step to creating awareness about Bitcoin in their country not just their country alone but other countries that they have a good fan base.

This happened long time ago and I think they sold seized bitcoin when price was much lower than today.
I cant be sure what law is for cryptocurrency payments in Bulgaria but I know they are just a part of European Union so things are not so simple.
Maybe someone who is from Bulgaria can tell us more about this.

Possibly if a Bulgarian is here they could tell us more better than we know. Such amount or volume of Bitcoin could give them a good fortune if they had hold till this very moment. We have no idea if they sold all but from the research I have done online I could see that they have no law against or stopping crypto currency in their country which means they could possibly be accepting Bitcoin in their various businesses and lots more. I think the Bulgaria government is amongst the small nation that is likely going to adopt Bitcoin but they are just sceptical about the process since other European countries are still yet to talk about Bitcoin adoption. Maybe they are waiting for their sister nation to open the floor for them to follow up.

Aqua wallet with JAN3 is another sponsor of this club and they even added special yellow&black theme in their app with Botev mod :)
JAN3 logo was added on their shirts and you can use Aqua wallet to buy anything in Botev store:

Yes I saw the news about club Botev Plovdiv having a new sponsor with bitcoin wallet ;D
I posted video from Joe Nakamoto who visited Bulgaria and Botev Plovdiv, but he made another video trying to give people free bitcoin.
Only a few people accepted his offer :o

Botev Plovdid is playing important match in Europe League qualifications against Maribor tomorrow as underdogs.
They won the first match at home in Bulgaria and now they have a chance to keep advantage and go in next round.
This is a good motivation for players and Bitcoin is continue to be promoted while they play.

Printing bitcoin and it logo on jersey is a way of promoting bitcoin digital currency and because of this, I also made research online and I discovered that Botev Plovdid is not the National Team of Bulgaria and I don't think that can be don in the National Team because the government has to approve it. Even as this, since it is a Club in the country, the Club Management and the Regional Government has to accept it before it can be printed. Well it is a nice move because through this, move the National Government will adopt Bitcoin when they see the benefits from the club.

I have been staring at this post for a while, I was a bit confused because I knew I have contributed in a thread with similar topics, but i realised it was in the other forum.
I keep saying that for things like this to keep happening is a pointer to the bright future of bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large. Who would have thought that a whole country will legalized bitcoin and as well as making it a legal tender. But El Salvador made it happen. We are seeing a football club doing it this time around and the trend will continue and will only get better. So, the future is surely bright.

Today is another day for Botev Plovid in Europa League and they are visiting Greece to play against Panathinaikos.
Home team is a huge favorite but I think Botev has a chance to make positive result here, that is a draw or losing with one goal difference.
Odds are amazing on Botev, but asian handicap is safer and pays nice.

Botev Plovid is back in action tomorrow against Panathinaikos in Europa League, and I really like the odds on them.
I dont know if they can win in this match but I dont think they will lose with big goal difference at home in full stadium.
I like asian handicap on Botev Plovdid +1, but you can go with double chance 1X, or if you want to risk it you can try Botev to qualify for next round.
