Peter Schiff is the man who can always see the glass half-empty as far as Bitcoin is concerned as he is always sharing on the other side of the coin. Well, there is nothing wrong with that as we should always proceed with cautious optimism. However, one thing for sure he has no choice but to see the coming rise of Bitcoin to $100K and even beyond. I think Peter prefer to deal with gold rather than Bitcoin...and there is nobody stopping him to get into that direction rather than this new form of gold. At the end of the day, Peter Schiff does not believe in Bitcoin and am sure he might not be investing with it...so we don't actually listen to him a lot as a man lurking outside and saying anything he can.

What Schiff needs to do is buy bitcoin and shut up. He has been saying for more than 10 years that it is a scam like tulips, that the intrinsic value is 0, only to recently turn around and start talking about a gold-backed altcoin, which is what he is interested in. Now he says it will go to $100,000? Well, I'm going to make the same case as if he says it's going to 0. Besides, he's a bit late because all of us who follow the price believe it will go to $100,000 this year or next year at the latest.

@Don Pedro Dinero, maybe he just wants to help his son a little, considering that he is (at least publicly) the opposite of his father when it comes to Bitcoin. I remember their debates on Twitter when they were arguing about whether gold or Bitcoin was better, but in the end everyone stood by their convictions.
In addition, when someone says today that the price of BTC will reach $100k or more, it should not be considered any special wisdom, because every slightly better-educated investor knows that. Peter and others like him pay cheap PR from time to time, it is enough to read the article to understand which direction the wind is blowing.
