Recommending bitcoin, he cautioned investors that the crypto has its risks, including volatility in the short term and regulatory uncertainties. There are a lot of benefits to investing in Bitcoin for the long term and we have proven that now, the price is moving up but still, we have to understand that we should only invest what we can afford to lose there are still risks caused by volatility regulatory uncertainties that have been hounded Bitcoin ever since.
He is probably hyping up BTC as well for acceptance but it's not because of BTC in which he made himself billions, right?
Through Grupo Salinas, Salinas Pliego has established and grown various companies, including Elektra, TV Azteca, Banco Azteca, and Grupo Lusacell. These companies have played a significant role in his accumulation of wealth and have solidified his position as a prominent figure in the business world.
Thanks for clarifying, at least we have some billionaires that invest their money and believes in the power of BTC for diversification and to hedge against the inflation that probably the fiat has. We all know BTC can save us with that and probably earn more money. He is probably hyping up BTC as well for acceptance but it's not because of BTC in which he made himself billions, right?
No, it doesn't. On the one hand, if he had become rich thanks to bitcoin, he would be someone known in the community, like the Winklevoss brothers, and on the other hand, if we look at information about his net worth, we can see that:QuoteThrough Grupo Salinas, Salinas Pliego has established and grown various companies, including Elektra, TV Azteca, Banco Azteca, and Grupo Lusacell. These companies have played a significant role in his accumulation of wealth and have solidified his position as a prominent figure in the business world.
Furthermore, the fact that he says bitcoin is good for diversification also indicates that he is someone who made his fortune previously and now the diversification he preaches.
and he does not mention for example that bitcoin is very difficult to confiscate and censor,This is true, but it is worth mentioning that it is only when BTC is in your self custody that it cannot be confiscated, neither can it be censored. Some newbies might think that their BTC's cannot be confiscated even if it is in an exchange wallet, which is so wrong.
~including long-term growth potential, diversification, and protection against inflation and currency devaluation.Well, for us who have been in the crypto space for quite some time, we've heard these reasons many times already.

For Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas, these four reasons that he identified as advice for investing in Bitcoin express his point of view as a billionaire and a major businessman. These reasons are sufficient to make any businessman want to invest in any project and consider it profitable.Sometimes an entrepreneur's point of view is always only looking at the profit side. But that doesn't mean they also don't see the usefulness of the field they are in. In fact, without even expressing it, those who invest in bitcoin also realize that the decentralised system will one day attract more people and from that point of view, investors see that there will be a surge in prices in the future.
But for me and for many who believe in Bitcoin, we have a different point of view and a different way of looking at Bitcoin. We do not look at Bitcoin as the Mexican billionaire views it, as only a profitable investment, but rather we look at it as an integrated financial system, an alternative to the current corrupt system, a decentralized system that preserves privacy and gives "Financial freedom" and this is much more important than just being a profitable investment.
All of a sudden, we're seeing famous businessmen and billionaires talking about cryptocurrency. Hmmm, I expect more in the upcoming months to come. :DInstitutional investors have become interested in BTC for sometime now, there are many examples of rich individuals who previously spoke down about BTC, only for them to change their minds and ideas later and become fully interested in the network. Now that spot etf's have been approved in the u.s. market, that interest is going to continue to grow more than ever.
