In our society today, in order to earn money you must not be reluctant or lazy, you have to work in order to earn money.
Manual work is part of development of our society. If offers a sense of connection, skill development and accomplishments. Doe, it have different challenges, it plays a key role in the development of our society and it contributes to skill and manual employments in the society.
Manual work requires physical labour, although technology has made manual work so much easier, like in most factories, automated machines are used due to the scale of products. But some physical labours will still be required for the work.
Online jobs on the other hand have become increasingly popular in recent years, offering flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere with an internet connection. There are various types of online jobs available, depending on your skills and interests. Some common online job opportunities include freelancing, where you can offer your services in areas like writing, graphic design, programming, or virtual assistance. Online tutoring or teaching is another option, allowing you to share your knowledge and expertise with others. E-commerce and online selling platforms provide opportunities to start your own business and sell products or services. To find online job opportunities, you can explore freelancing websites, job boards, or specialized platforms for specific industries. It's important to research and choose reputable platforms that offer fair compensation and protect your rights as a worker. Online jobs require discipline and self-motivation, as you'll be responsible for managing your time and meeting deadlines. It's also essential to have a reliable internet connection and necessary equipment for your chosen online work.

Every living being will either be a manual job hunter or an online job hunter. Someone must be one of them to earn a living. For someone who is not physically strong, a manual job is not meant for that person but instead, an online job that requires no much physical strength but the intellectual capability to operate a digital gadget.
Online jobs are time-consuming and require data to follow up, but not the same as a manual job that needs your physical strength always to be involved in it.

OP, why your post hasn't had a post reply up till now apart from mine is because you didn't throw out a discussion on what people should debate or give ideas on.
OP, when creating a new post, try as much to provide what the forum members would love to talk about than giving a full explanation about the subject on what we already know without providing us what to add to the subject matter.
I was expecting at the end of your explanation of manual jobs and online jobs, you would ask, which one is preferable to the other. The forum members who find your post interesting will begin to give their opinion on which one they prefer most(manual or online jobs), and why they chose it.
As it is, there is nothing to add to your post because you have said everything we already know about manual and online jobs.

There are advantages and disadvantages to online work and offline work, on manual work, the job is specific to hours and you're working in a company and you enjoy the benefit of a regular worker, on an online job like a freelancer you have to be very competitive because there are a lot of freelancers and you will face freelancers from many countries, you have to be good at what you're doing and you have no specific hours, you'll need to finish the assignment at the allocated time, you also have to spend in the internet a good computer specs/

Manual work /online work are both good because manual work are hand work or skills being learnt. In the world today there are so many youths, parents learning sth that would be beneficial to he/her family to meet a ends meet.
Online jobs are all over the net, it just between your mind set of u learning sth that would be beneficial to u.
Maybe during a leisure hours.

Any day, any time I will prefer online jobs. Online jobs allow individuals to work from anywhere, at any time, as long as they have a reliable internet connection. This flexibility can make individuals cope with other responsibilities and have control over their schedules. Individuals can structure their work around their personal lives rather than the other way around.
Online workers can save money on transportation costs, as well as meals and work-related expenses. With online jobs, individuals can apply for positions with companies located in other parts of the country or even the world.

It is hard to discuss something if we are unclear what is being discussed. To be honest, most of your threads have the same problem IMO. You create a new topic and give some descriptions here and there, but there is no direction on what the discussion should be about. Sometimes a thread or title might help, but at the end of the day, you need to make a good post if you want a good discussion. Simply saying "What's your opinion on this" is not going to cut it either, since it will make your topic sound like spam.
So back to the topic at hand, are you trying to get the opinion of others to see which model of working is more popular in their area, more suitable for you, or preferrable by others? Choosing one of those three would definitely improve the direction of the thread.

It seems that work is currently experiencing a slight transition, where online work looks more promising and efficient in several fields. I myself still do both, manual work and online work. Because up to now I still view anything that can be promoted online as the fastest boost to increase sales and income.
It seems to me that if I was told to choose one, the online job would be better and have more potential. Because the internet network is really wider nowadays, and that opens up more opportunities in the online world.
-
Well, I believe it depends on our personal preferences and abilities. Manual work is hand-to-hand and tangible; it is physically demanding and may not be suitable for everyone; however, you can see the results of labor, which can be satisfying; whereas online work is less stressful; you can work from home and earn money without stress or strength; it is also convenient. However, I prefer online job because I lack the physical strength to work manually. But either way pays off.
-
I believe it depends on our personal preferences and abilities.
I agree with this statement, it depends on the skill and preferences of the person. Nowadays online jobs have become more prominent because of the pandemic many people now prefer online jobs because of convenience. But it depends on the person on what the person prefers and is suitable to work.

There are some people who have skills that will work mostly when they're doing manual work (like going to an office or being a laborer etc.), and there are some who has some skills that are fit to work online. At the end of the day, it all depends on the skills that we have.
Like you said, online job is one that many prefer to do because it's more comfortable, and way less hassle. I always wanted to work online even though I can also work as a government employee not because I don't want to work as an employee, but the monthly salary is way higher if you work online (at least that's what I see). Anyway, I still believe that people that are passionate enough to prefer working manually than working online and vice-versa.

I agree with your opinion on the online jobs. You see, online jobs are remote Jobs were individuals can work from their comfort zones and as such it is very competitive because the best of all is chosen for the job as time goes on, it would require a continuous self improvement and development and if one is not able to improve, to they would be left behind. So in that case the chances would be very minimal and the competition to retain position would be very small as well.
Also, another thing OP would need to consider is up and doing in all task given. If you can be able to meet up with your task as given to you by meeting on or before deadline, I think employers would be able to look into your direction because at that point you will be seen as reliable and competent to deliver services if patronised.

And inasmuch as you believe that online jobs are a lot more convenient and less stressful, there are a lot of people who would disagree with you and they have cultivated the mentality that everythythat has to do with the internet is a potential scam and so they prefer to go out and do some manual labour to earn their pay, so such a person, even if you provide them with the required gadgets and opportunity to start working online, and even offer them a huge salary, they'd still turn it down and still prefer to do tye manual labours.

I would think that region might play a bigger role in some peoples opinion. Someone living in a 3rd world country might be able to make $200 a month doing manual jobs whereas they can make $400+ a month online. Someone in a 1st world country can make $1600 a month and only $400 online. Location and circumstances plays a big role IMO.
-
Its an advantage for people to work online while living in a 3rd world country. The cost of living is just affordable than living in cities in the rich countries. I'm sure it depends on what the person prioritize in his life.
Some people just inherit the business of their parents, they won't even consider themselves lucky.
Every person goes thru every phase which means your job is where you are.
-
It depends on individuals capacity on which one they can do, there are some people who are capable of doing manual and they find it easy and faster than online work and there are people who find online work or jobs very easy and faster than manual jobs, so it all depends on individuals strength or ability to do any of those work but the way the world is now, people are really engaging in online work because it's stress free and allow us to spend time with our loved ones. So it's important to do what we love doing in order not to find it difficult to do.

You're absolutely right...
Indeed, region, circumstances and location can actually influence a person's financial opportunities respectively.
How developed your country of residence and economic condition is can significantly impact a person's choice, when deciding on whether to focus working online or manual jobs.
Online jobs could appear to be a lot more lucrative option in developing countries, compared to an already developed country, due to the global demand for digital expertise and higher earnings. While I'm developed countries on the other hand may offer more financial stability for people indulged in traditional employments.

Yes this is true and everything would really be that depending on the decisions that would really be making up. We do know that when it comes to earning then people would usually
stick into those things on where they would really be earning more. Despite on trying out to choose one. Then why they cant be able to do both? Yes its possible but it would really be
needing up that good time management on this one on which we know that this isnt something that you should really be not minding on doing so. We are living in a world where
inflation do hits hard and if you dont find for another source of income then your fucked up.
-
All our equals have different types of jobs or business, and the amount of investment and profit is also different. If we want to survive and lead life then we have to find source of earning money and it can be anything but definitely in the right way. Moreover the value of handwork is high because through it you can expand your local business. But jobs and online work are different ways because the amount of loss is high. If you do something wrong in the office, then the boss can fire you. Same goes for freelance because if your work isn't interesting you won't get paid. .

It is clear that the choice of offline or online work will be adjusted to the capacity we have. If you are used to using renewable technological devices, you can be sure that you will prefer online work, because it can be done anywhere and there are no time restrictions because it suits the work we do. But it will be difficult for those who are not used to dealing with technology to be able to work online, and it is better to do work offline. In fact, both have the same job because the aim is to earn income to meet their needs.

In a nutshell, manual work and online work depend on our strengths, goals, and interests to carry on with anyone we find conversant with. Although there will be people who may prefer to combine both or keep up to one, maybe in the later stage of their lives they divert to another depending on how their strength or mental alertness can carry

It's not only that but add also the skill factor because there are some who are expert in things that can't be offered online, and there are some people who are expert in online that can't be offered in doing manual jobs. I guess some skills that are related to construction is one.
Nevertheless, I will stick to what I want which is focusing more on online jobs because that's what I want to excel in the first place. Less stress, more convenient, and more time with family. There will be a time where when we are in the later stages of our lives, I wish that all of us are already ready financially if that happens.

The internet has been a big blessing to many people in developing countries as they can now work virtually and be employed by other people or companies who are based abroad. At the same time, there are now many good opportunities to do business online. Sky is the limit for people who got the creativity, skills and passion to make big money online. And of course, one can trade in forex, stocks, cryptos and other options right now. And since the standard of living is a lot lower here, one can have a good life with the income or profits earned. When I graduated from college, I never imagined that the world will be as interconnected as we are today and that one can be making money while staying at home because of the internet and new technologies available in our fingertips. And with cryptocurrency industry raging right before our eyes, one can choose which to focus on and make as many coins as possible. I am hoping that we can get rich with this online opportunity that is here to stay and will be defining our future for good.

Manual work and online jobs are good as long as you are earning a living, Some people prefer online jobs over manual work because they are relatively stress-free, while others prefer manual work due to its structured schedule, which allows for a clear separation between working hours and personal time, that enables rest and relaxation after work.
For me, online jobs are preferable due to the following reasons: they offer numerous benefits including reduced stress and fatigue, no/zero transportation costs, having access to international trade, business or industry, and the opportunity to connect with peoples worldwide, the ability to work from anywhere at any time with Independence, freedom and flexibility. both manual work and online jobs have advantages and also disadvantages, we just have to hope for the best.
-
I don't feel there is any difference in it, with online work you are completing the task remotely that has benefits for the worker as well as the employer but the category should be skilled labour or service labour, the former can't be replace you will be the one all the time to complete the task but if it's service related anyone can do the job so chances of getting replaced is high.

Yes in this world we are doing everything to survive work is work either manual work or online job its on the preference and skills of the person. it's about finding what works best for each person and aligns with their strengths. We’re all just doing what we can to make a living and build a better life.
-
I will accept to go for the two, we meed to have a manual work to do and we also need to have an online or proxy job to do, this will help us to have more opportunities for making it early in life, not only on that, we are going to be more productive in whatever thing we are doing because we are not tied to them alone, at least we have an alternative on what we do that brings us money in.
-
Online. it has been more rewarding and convenient for me, so I'll go with it. But, I also do like manual work — not as in jobs but outdoor stuff like gardening.

It must be true.
People from the 3rd world however would have to be skilled or have a good knowledge and experience to find online jobs that pays well. Some of them I know are undergrad law students just fall short of their tuition fees so they find jobs online working on litigation companies transcribing depositions. It pays well that they were able to pay tuition fees to continue their studies.
If someone from richer country like US works online for same job, they will sure find the pay too little to make it.

What you've said is nothing but the truth, some people are not built for manual works, but some people feel or see it as being lazy. No, it's not laziness, everyone just as you've rightly said, have their own personal goals in life and each person also have their tolerance level too, the fact that the next person's goals permits him to get involved with such work doesn't make the next person who's not, a lazy fellow, it only means he's got another way he intend to achieve his goals with or without getting involved in manual jobs. It's just a matter of perspective.

I will agree with your take here. Both job options depend wholly on the individuals ability to engage with. Some people are just Tech and IT based so they could mostly do the online jobs while some skills or skilled worker demands a physical engagement. depending on their location. Like in the third world country, works mostly done there are majorly of a physical engagement works and this takes strength and energy which demands workers to be on ground. While the first world country are mostly sophisticated in nature that one can be able to work from their home without having any issues. This kind of jobs are very much conducive and one can be able to do other things.

It's not like some people are not built for manual work, it's because the pay doesn't make sense otherwise you will see less people online and more people offline doing work. The technology world has made skills acquisition becomes a need and because the pay are very good, people tend to be focus on them than doing the manual work we're you can be exhausted easily.
You can be from West Africa and get work in the North America where they value your time and skill. If you have the right skill and you are higered, trust me you are going to be working for them online and you will be receiving a standard salary of North America. Your pay will might be 6x better than doing manual work here in West Africa and this apply to other regions as well.

Sometimes the physical jobs may not really be that demanding, just like others may look it. Sometimes those manual jobs could only require your presence, to supervise the operations going on there, which of course could also give one the time to also look at other things too.
It’s just a matter of preference, whichever nature of work one chooses to indulge in, the important thing is putting their mind to it and making sure they make the most out of it, because both nature of jobs has the potential to make one a sustainable income if only they put their mind and body to it.

Most physical jobs truly do not need much engagements such as a you have said, some are just to make sure things works or goes on well and I must say that there are some jobs that demands physical presence even if it is partly done online from ones comfort zone. For instance their are some jobs you do at your convenience at home but some features or aspect of it would require you to go out there and see for yourself what you got maybe through inspection or to supervise some of the activities. To some extent, it can be so and I will also agree with your opinion on the physical jobs as most times, it is not that engaging but rather just some mere exercise and in some cases, you do not do much for the day and you will have the time to do other things as you wish.

Yeah, it’s just a matter of preference and what’s okay and agreeable with you, because there are those who’d rather prefer to be out there taking up physical tasks than stay on their computer or devices the whole day all in the name of working. And again, no matter how easy or convenient we might view online jobs to be, the fact still remains that there’ll always be people to take up the outdoor jobs and tasks, because we all need ‘em, it sure wouldn’t be pretty cool to if everyone was working online and there’s no one to fix your car when it’s bad, or build your houses. So every job and task is unique in their own various ways.

It's also essential to have a reliable internet connection and necessary equipment for your chosen online work.
I think offline work is better than online... Online means using phone/computer, can cause eye strain, and sitting on the desk for long period of time. Plus, you don't even talk face to face.
while offline work, increase your social activity, helps you stay physically active, and allows for real-time collaboration without the distractions of constant notifications. It also creates opportunities for building stronger interpersonal relationships and maintaining a healthier work-life balance.

Sure every job task is very genuine and important to whoever does them. I would also agree that not every task requires a comfort zone engagement. There are some jobs that needs one to go out there to fix things up and making sure the society keeps working. I have come to realize something that when it comes to engagement of this nature, there are some certain things that ought to be for the society to keep moving and that is a natural course which is always taking its place in the world. If everybody should be at a comfort zone doing their things online then there would be not social workers just as you have said. Things ought to be this way for the world to keep evolving that life be conducive and meaningful.

You’re damn right there won’t, and we all know what that means for the society, without no social workers to do those tasks that they’re required to, this would only mean that the society isn’t complete because we need them as much as they need us. So whichever kinda work a person chose to get involved or attached to is solely up to them and should not be disrespected simply because we feel we are in a more better position than them.

Truly everyone's occupation needs to be respected appropriately because if they did not have taken up such occupation, there wouldn't be anyone doing such to fill up the gaps in the society. So it is right everyone occupation is respected because everyone needs each other to survive and to make sure that the society keeps going on.
I believe nature has a way of balancing occurrences hence we have people of different works and walks of life doing their things and making sure things goes well with their rewards attached to making sure they get benefits or profits from their little way of keeping up with the society.

Truly, some individuals ain’t made for social works or interactive works like for me I prefer much of online works than working socially or leaving my home and go to work outside my vicinity. There are some people who really likes going for social activities, every individual has is own taste or way of achieving their goals after all it still same goals we are chasing financial stability or financial success. Some people don’t do social work but you can just admit that they are lazy or full of themselves everyone differs we ain’t the same.
I much more prefer working at home rather than participating in social activities. But each works really needs each other we all needs each other in this world. But actually both works have their own various ways of advantages and disadvantages.
