It's inappropriate to answer this question from a negative standpoint, but I'll provide a realistic perspective. I have lived in this country for a considerable number of years, and I cannot recall a time when the price of an increased product returned to its previous level. It's almost like a universal law: whatever goes up does not come down.
It is disheartening to witness that, as we age, the prices of goods seem to age alongside us. This is not a positive indicator for a developing nation. Urgent and intelligent action is required to prevent reaching a point where the situation becomes unmanageable.

It's just difficult to answer and predict the future price, it's impossible to say for sure wether the price of dollar will go back to normal levels. The crypto can be influenced by variety of factors, like the market sentiment and news event.

In our country, prices of things don't go back to normal. The people are the problem to themselves. Every one wants to live at the mercy of others. During fuel hike, the price of transportation will increase and when everything is normal it will still be one difficult to return the price to what it use to be. This is similar to other commodities.

To return to cheap prices like before is very unlikely to happen, the influence of inflation is very strong and those who have positions in our country make a lot of profit and don't want to give up that pleasure. At least we have to rise from adversity and try to find How to survive in economic conditions like this.

It is very unfortunate that even if our government tries to make sure that the prices of these goods stabilize and get back to affordable costs for citizens, wholesalers and retailers who have already experienced a huge amount of profits made from the sales of the commodities they have at an increased rate will not want to quickly take the prices of these commodities back to the previous cost because they understand the profit they are making, so at the end of the day, the problem is not just the government but also we, the citizens, who are making things difficult for ourselves.

This is so because we don't have a functional government in Nigeria. To stabilize price is easy if the government decides to. First, the economy should be stable and functional. Then, a regulatory body either ad hoc or permanent should be established to monitor the wholesalers and retailers to know if they still hike their prices. With the establishment of this regulatory commission it becomes easy to restore prices to normal.

There has never been a time in Nigeria where the price of goods went up and later reduced back to it's normal amount, it's not possible. Why is everything is expensive?? This is something that people have been asking lately, well, if marketers are exporting and importing goods with the aid of transportation and the price of petrol keeps increasing what do you think is going to happen, they will end up spending more on transportation. Currently the price of fuel is 1050 naira per litre, it's only going to get worse if this continues

The tendency for inflation in Nigeria is increasing therefore we must look for ways to counter the escalating prices of products. It is understood that fuel prices are continually increasing; however, we are capable of reclaiming a part of that increase within the global sector by minimizing wastage in the conveying and utilization of energy. We have to combine innovation and cooperation to reduce the effect of increasing prices and make our economy level and suitable for everyone. Here what I want to say let us stick together and keep on pushing for the changes that we would want to see happen.

We can not determine or predict the feature of the country's economy, whether the commodity prices will normalize. I believe that a lots of us here have witnessed the high rate of inflation and we keep hoping for deflation day by day. The inflation rate has become unpredictable, affecting citizens and creating uncertainty about the future.
we don't know what the feature may be like, but despite rising commodity prices, we should remain hopeful for a better tomorrow. Let's not lose faith, thinking prices will never decrease.
If Nigeria's commodity prices will return to normal in the future, then we'll still be using kobo up still now. The prices of commodities has become something else, rising daily without any decrease. That along with kobo even small denominations like 5, 10, 20, and 50 naira have lost significant value. Let's not give up hope by saying prices will never drop. Instead, let's stay positive and hope for the best. We shouldn't lose faith.

The fact is that the world we find our self change's from time to time so that is what we are currently experiencing in the country so the probability of prices of goods and services going back to normal in Nigeria as of today will be hard because with the current inflation that is on its peak we can not be talking about prices of goods in the market going back to normal in this present time what we should be discussing is how government can manage our economy and stabilize our currency because before price of goods will go back to normal our economy should have been in a good shape and the naira must have appreciated against the dollar and we really need to prioritize locally made goods over import because until a nation start producing and meeting their local needs they can't be talking about prices of goods coming down in the market

That’s true, but it is stable prices among the goods that can only be made possible when our economy is stable. Building on this imperative of making the necessary changes involves several processes in bringing out the desire for local production so as to cut out the unnecessary importation. Large roles are played by the government to generate policies that would ensure the economic development and value of the currency. It will be possible to establish a better foundation for the future if we have the backing of a community that wants to support local product.

The future is uncertain, and no one can predict with certainty what it holds. Some individuals have resigned themselves to the fact that commodity prices may never return to previous levels again.
As a citizen of Nigeria, I've observed that prices tend to rise and rarely return to their original levels. Historically, prices have consistently increased over time, making it challenging to purchase essential items at affordable prices.
For instance, items that once cost ₦100, such as a mudu of rice or beans, now cost significantly more. Even with higher denominations, like ₦1,000, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find satisfying food options at affordable prices.
Despite these challenges, we remain hopeful for positive changes and a more stable economic future.
