Title: Progress first, not perfection
Post by: Mr. Allcrypto on February 26, 2024, 07:43:44 AM
In our society today what some people fail to understand is the difference between progress and perfection.
You can't just see a successful business man or entrepreneur who has made a lot of sacrifices to reach where he or she is and say you want to be like them without putting effort to work and achieve your goals.
Fisrt, you have to work on your self to see if there will be progress to what you are doing, before perfecting it.
Progress and perfection is a very important thing that one can not be successful with out, doe many people will confuse about it, but truth is you can't be perfect in something if there is no progress in what you're doing.
Its amazing to see how far you've gone and what you've achieved so far, and the most important thing is making your self to be perfect in those ramifications you've progressed.

Fun fact..!  No successful person became perfect without making progress.

Fun fact..!  No successful person became perfect without making progress.
And no successful person makes it to the top by themselves alone without the help of others. One circle of friends and the surroundings they live in play a role in their life and the level they will attain.

Your progress in life starts with your little beginning and the effort you put in and none of your output comes easily because it always requires one's patience and smartness to achieve a progress goal in life

I'm having a hard time understanding the purpose of this topic.
Your first sentence makes it sound like you think most people think that progress and perfection mean the same thing, but that's not true at all. Later you're essentially saying that some effort needs to be put in to achieve success, which is also something that the vast majority understands.

But since we're on the subject of progress - I think the term is vastly overrated and unnecessarily fetishised by society and often presented as the ultimate goal itself instead of a means to achieve a higher goal.

Encouraging progress over perfection is like having an undiscovered tool for success because experiencing progress, even slight achievements, may provide an essential motivation push. It's like an embrace on your back, and by focusing on your success, you'll be better prepared to face new difficulties and opportunities. And when you emphasize progress above perfection, you're more willing to take risks and try new things which can lead to amazing finds. Instead of getting caught up in minor mistakes you focus on what you've learned in addition to what you can do better the next time; it's about having fun while learning from your mistakes since it will propel you forward.
