Weekend is for free time and space to ease up the stress of weekdays, and as gambler's we tend to set aside alot of time and money to gamble with on weekends, most especially sports bets and other casino games that interest us.
But what confuses me more is in the area of choosing a day as on weekends to gamble and not on week day,s even those that work remotely also endurge in this weekend surge.
This lead me to ask the questions
1: why do you gamble on weekends?
2: why not choose other days to gamble instead of following that traditions?

I don't choose any specific day to gamble I can accept to gamble on any day but those who accept to gamble on one day of the week (it can be a friend's day or participant's payday) are the ones who earn money at the end of the week. Participates in gambling with money. Because the payment they receive is weekly, they participate with that money at the end of it all. Besides, those who participate in online sports betting gambling can participate anytime at any moment because they participate in gambling when the game starts.

I am usually occupied from Monday to Friday, and even on some Saturdays, I am usually busy. I don't think I make it a tradition to gamble only on weekends; I don't even gamble more during the weekend. I have my casino on my phone already, so I can do my thing any time I just feel like gambling, and if I am also free at that time, I will definitely have fun. I do go out with my friends occasionally on some weekends to have fun and games too, but it is not so regularly. Everybody has time when they are usually more free, and if it's the weekend, it's not bad either.

Not sure if even those who have plenty of time in weekdays does not use their time in gambling? like me I gambler depending in my time availability like when I am having off in weekdays so for sure I will use my time to gamble.
and when i have off in weekends then my betting will also change.

At some level we need to know when and how we gamble, and also timing also contribute alot to why we choose when we gamble, and many choose weekends due to their week days title scheduled and weekend free time, amd also most aport bettors are alot of games line ups for weekends.
Both premiere Leagues and championship leagues reserves their best matches for weekends so many sport bets activities happens mostly on weekends, some gambler's will always lookout for weekends to take the bets.

I will speak for myself, but I think the answer will be suitable for everyone - I gamble on weekends mainly because of the amount of free time. For me gambling is entertainment. I dont do anything entertainment during work or have minimum of it during working week. After the work, I have only time to get home, spend few hours with family, and have about 1 or 2 hours for myself, or even sometimes no time for myself. With weekends, its is more likable to have something planned in advance. It is always possible to find time to do nothing. Plus, I have enough stress at work during week, and even a little bit of it (gambling) on a working week is extra and complicated for me.

Actually, I am not a gambler myself since I do hate myself whenever I lost even a small amount of money for something I consider to be a not-so-good habit or a form of entertainment. To avoid that find of feeling, I shy away from any opportunity to bet especially online...remember there are now so many apps we can download if one is so willing to lost some money...well you can win too, to be fair. But I do have some friends who are into this addictive habit and usually here in my location weekends can be the best time to do the thing since it is a traditional days for non-online gambling forms. I am sure when someone has nothing to do and wanted to be entertainment while at the same time get the opportunity to win a whirlwind of fortune then doing it on some free time can be the bet thing to do. However, I can sense that this is already changing since we can now gamble anytime, anywhere because of online platforms doing business 24/7. The gambling business has no respect for any hour or any day, for sure, so it is operating all the time since money can't wait.

This is why I gamble more on weekends. My major focus is on English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A and all these leagues have most of their matches during the weekend. My focus on this league is because I watch most of the matches so it becomes easier for me to make accurate predictions.

I know many does not have any special day to gamble and they can do it at any day they gave free chance to gamble, but much as that, we still have some days of the week that make up for the most traffic days in gambling most especially sport bets which are mostly done on weekends.
Although not that some others don't have a urge to gamble on weekdays but the stress of work limit many people from gambling during week days so they suspend all they gambling activities until weekend when they have the free chance to gamble.

People gamble everyday and that is just a simple truth. However the surge is much during the weekends and the reason for that you have also captured in the opening topic. Weekend is see in different countries as the days for resting after all the tedious work during he weekdays. Apart from the resting day it is seen to be, it is always the free days for outing and visitation. So that is why gamblers use it as their favorite days of gambling. Apart from gambling grocery shops, canteens and inns are also crowded during the weekends.
For sport betting, weekends are always for matches and that is why gamblers concentrate on weekends to have variety of options across the leagues and cash out easily.

People that gambles only on week ends have their own reasons, because some of then might have chance to relax only on weekends, so they play it on weekends only l, while some of them due to how they loose their money often in bets and how addicted they are, they set their betting routines online, on weekends so as to avoid too much loss.

I gamble both on weekdays and weekends but as you mentioned there is something special if you do this on weekends it's the mindset because there is no work people are relaxing on weekends your body and your mind are tuning in to resting on weekends and people schedule their gambling activity on weekend to shake off the stress of one whole week of work.

Weekends are meant to allow people time to windup, refresh and recover some energy from the week they had, and because this is usually the only time you might have to yourself...this is also the time most games are played and People will gamble on these days as they are spoilt for choice with hundreds of game's...and best part about this is you can be in the company of friends and family and play what you love.
Playing during the week is not so popular because most of the major leagues don't play on these days , which means less known games to the punters/gamblers.

Yeah I get your point and indeed big leagues and sports are mostly happened in weekend , sorry I missed about sports as I focused in regular casino games that i mostly played.

yeah those in regular offices that weekend is their off but in people like us who are mostly having off in weekdays , we missed those special weekend games.

I gamble on weekends while chillin or doing simple chores at home. Which i just enjoy winning, losing or just plain playing.

I used to play on online casinos on weekdays, but if something stressful comes up (either work or family matters) its really really frustrating if your on a lose streak. And that my friend is not good trait when your gambling. It makes more bad decision and might end up losing really hard.

I'm probably one of the weird/odd gambler because I do not look forward to gambling during weekends. I mean I don't set aside some money or set more time to play than weekdays anymore. Maybe it's because I'm not compelled to enter a land-based casino now. If anything, I prefer spending hours on physical activities to shake/burn body fats accumulated during weekdays.

Well, weekend is weekend and there is always a different vibe that comes with it compared to weekdays, on weekdays, people are mostly busy with work and their businesses, a person who works remotely might have friends who don't work remotely, so, in other for him to connect with those friends, he or she has to wait till weekend when he's or her friends will be chances so they can connect.
Personally, if it's about offline gambling, I prefer to gamble on weekend because..
1. There are always more game opportunities to play during the weekend, most especially, if the focus is on sports betting.
2. I get to meet more people in the casino during the weekend, both people and I know and new faces to connect with, gambling on weekends gives more good vibes than gambling on weekdays, for the more crowded a casino is, the more the games appear to be fun to play.

I think I've already answered this question together with the first question in my reply above, but to add, I think gambling on weekends is not about tradition, it's about when people are free from work, when they take breaks from their business to enjoy themselves, weekdays are for work while weekends are for rest and having fun, this is the same reason why most people don't go clubbing during the weekdays, but only do so during weekends, because on like clubbing in weekdays, you arent in a hurry to go home to prepare for work the next day,.

Maybe it's because that's the day they have a day off; that's why they really allocate time and budget so they can play gambling as well. Then the weekend is also the usual free time for most people, while weekdays are office work days.
But in reality, gambling does not choose a time; it depends on the free time of the individual gambler, because we do not have the same free time in reality and the reality of what is happening in our lives.

Well first I feel this particular taught is tied to mostly sport bettors like soccer because that's the time most matches and fixtures are available and it opens and present a wide chances of selecting the right games to bet on. I am also a victim of making or playing gamble most on weekends because I don't get that much confused on a particular team that I know can win the game. And again some persons only have the weekend for themselves and that's the only period they enjoy any pleasure of any sort so Saturday is definitely an ideal day for betting although I can't say the same for casino games players like dice, lucky7, roulette and so many more.

Because some of us must be busy working on weekdays from Monday to Friday.
So only on Saturdays and Sundays we can relax and gamble to make more money or just have fun.
Also for sports gamblers, Saturday and Sunday are the days when there are more sports matches than usual days.

I don't just gamble on weekends, I gamble until my gambling budget is over or as long as I have the ability to gamble. And for doing this what I do is creating a budget for a month or a week from my payments or income it not that much high but it enough to make enjoyable my whole week when I have the time to play some betings. I don't suggest those people doing this if they don't have afford the money to gamble for playing gambling the first rules should be invest as much as you can afford to lose.

There are different things motivate gambling to gamble at weeks and some of those factors are. Busy schedule within the week. And also there are sometimes people get move in the weekend more than the week days. Like most people received salary at the weekend and not within the week. And another factor again. It is the weekend interesting matches are fixed and played so weekend is set aside for sports games and people are always prepared to watch sports games for the weekend because premier league and laliga and other clubs sides games are fix in the weekend.

I dont know how exact that information is, but most people have more free time during weekends and there are more sports events happening during this time.
They cant bet if there is nothing to bet on, but there are exceptions of that rule with big competitions, for example World Cup or European Championship.

Because that's the only time I have free time. I don't consider it a tradition but if you are working 5-6 days per week, most of the day off set by the company is every weekend. So, there's no other choice for a gambler like myself to gamble in my free time which is every weekend due to my busy schedule at work.
Doing gambling on some other day might be possible if there is some holiday schedule, but if gambling will fit in during the days of my work, I don't think it will have a good result. I will most likely lose more money than usual and probably not going to enjoy playing as I have limited extra time during weekdays.

This question is relatable and all I can say is that gambling on weekends is one of the ways people cathch fun. We have many ways we individually cathch fun, some people like to spend it with there wife's and family, some prefer to go club throughout and then some people prefer to watch football matches and use the time to gamble, this is why you see many people gamble in the weekends.
The reason why people don't gamble on week days might be because of their work schedule, you will leave work and get home and probably be tired and exhausted.
