Title: Anyone faced this error?
Post by: Crypto Library on March 06, 2024, 03:43:51 AM
I have face this error from tomorrow, Is anyone else also having this error?
Is it just a server problem on the forum or is it a problem with my ISP? Although the problem doesn't last long and it gets fixed after reloading, still this error is annoying while doing a work.

Unfortunately all of us are facing this error and after it got an own page it became even more annoying because there's no way to return to the page you aimed to go. admin says (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=318863.msg1512658#msg1512658) he's working to solve the problem. Let's wait. But I do understand you, it is really annoying, especially when you need to monitor a lot of pages to find out if there are violations somewhere... ;D

Am I the only one whose website loads slowly? Wait for 20 seconds for the page to open. In general, I hope to change or improve the hosting service, as many people complain, but such things happen to all forums, so we must be patient and hope that the solution will be good and for a long-term.

I am curious, what do you mean by "you have faced this error from tomorrow"?, is that a typo or something you said on purpose? If actually you said that on purpose, then I believe many of us here don't understand what you mean, kindly explain.

And back to the error you are talking about, aside from when the forum is generally down for everyone, I have only encountered this they of error once since I became very active here, and I think it was a day before yesterday that I did encounter this error, but like you said, it doesnt last long, it dissappeared and the forum loaded normally as soon as I hit the refresh button.

What I did have to say is that this error doesn't look like it's forum related, I think it's possibly from the company that is hosting the forum, and good enough, it's not something that happens often, else, I trust admin would have looked for a way to get it sorted out.

EDIT: And speaking of the devil, here she came, I just encountered same error again immediately after posting the comment above..

And this is the url =https://www.altcoinstalks.com/err/503.html (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/err/503.html) - maybe this can help to find out the root cause of the error.

Usually no, usually everything loads fast, not slower than other sites. Probably the problem is with that four undersea trunk cables in the Red Sea were damaged recently? It probably affected a huge part of Internet traffic between Asia and Europe. ???

LOL  ;D ... Initially it wasn't a page like this that appeared, but the admin here was really very pleasant, so changed it directly to that page. Maybe no one will be angry anymore even if they encounter an error when replying or just reading a topic on this forum.

As of today, I haven't encountered any errors, so maybe the admin has already made a fix for a problem like this. sounds good. Or maybe I was lucky not to encounter this error

Honestly, when I encountered this error today, was immediately I login, and clicked on a board, then it took me to that gerr page, after that I was like what. I had to go back to the initial page that I was on, and click again, before the board that I wanted to access was possible. It occurred twice whenever, I want to access a different board. I am using my phone currently, so I don't know if it has been fixed, but I experienced it when I was using my PC.

I have faced that error many times yesterday whenever I tried to visit a board. However, after a going back and clicking on the same board again, I didn't see that error again. I think it was an error that everyone faced and but today I haven't seen it and I believe it has been solved.

I made a similar complaint in a different thread yesterday when I came across the issue twice[1] but I haven`t come across anyone today probably because I have not been active since morning - if I were a bit active I would have come across it.

I think it was an error everyone faced, but I haven't seen it today and believe it has been solved.

I don`t think it happens every time so there is a possibility that one could go a whole day without encountering the issue once while others would be drowning in it.

I also don`t think the error has been fixed the admin would have announced so that more threads concerning forum errors won't keep popping up here and there.

Well, I can say that I was active today the same way as yesterday and as usual. And if yesterday and the day before yesterday there were multiple issues, then today I didn't see this 503 error even once. So it looks like the problem is solved (I hope so). :)

If I'm not wrong then the error is mainly because of too much load on the server. A few days ago I was facing another error and that was also because of the overload on the server. Let's see if the error continues then what steps admin may take to solve it.

That's good to hear, although I was not problemed with this error, as I was not active yesterday so I did not face any problems due to this error. I guess many members must be frustrated by this. As few days ago Facebook went down, and many freelancers like me became worried I don't know if that issue was global but in my country people were not able to access their accounts. But now the problem is solved. I guess when such events occur the same feeling will be of the members of this forum.

BTT was also facing such errors sometime, it went down 3 to 4 time in previous year due to unknown reasons, so, I guess such mistakes are so unique and common and can occur to anyone. I hope you will become successful in maintaining this issue. Thanks for your services.

I saw this yesterday and I was thinking that there were some maintaining works were going on in the forum and that was why I didn't raise any issue. And I believe since the error was occurred in the forum, all those people that login at that time would faced or see the message. But one thing was if your clicked on the "Now Click Here>>>", it would load and in some few seconds it would redirect you back to the forum home page and that was my experience of the error message I saw yesterday. And I believe admin would be aware of the issue and he quickly resolved the issue to make things work normal again. We thank you for that.

I think it's better now and the admin might be doing some tweaks in the background.

And even if I try to used clear net, I get this error but not in the last 24 hours so maybe it's fix.

But as far as TOR goes, it's always very slow.

I encountered this problem only once, two days ago. I thought it was an error on my part because I quickly pressed one of the buttons twice in a row. I am not used to this page appearing when an error occurs, so I was surprised.

Anyway, I sometimes suffer from the error on the CloudFlare page, but the forum in general works well and loads quickly, faster than other similar forums.

Things are back to normal for me today in forum, there are no errors and broken links, so fingers crossed.
Can we get an official confirmation from admin and moderators that server issue was fully fixed so we can move on from this subject.

will you give us warning at least in chatbox once this server upgrade will take place? because its annoying when  I experienced that Gerr error for howmany hours , even how many refresh i made yet its coming and the sad part is when you have created the Post to be posted that problem will occur and not when I am just browsing each section.
Thanks for this heads Up admin.

No need to be annoyed and feel frustrated, the forum reach its high activities almost everyday, members should be understandable on these moment. Since the forum server will be upgraded soon (unknown date) which is i guess i will be a bit hesitant related to financial if i were the admin, but for the sake of the forum activities and future of the forum, then i guess it's a win-win situation.

This kind of problem happens only during development work, when admin starts developing with forum then we all get this problem on screen to enter user forum. And we can't go to another page because the website is temporarily down, so just wait to keep calm.

It is normal as a Human mate when you are already ready to post your comment/reply but suddenly cannot come through because of that error and this happens not only once but multiple times in different threads that  i am engaging so I believe we are allow to feel such bad , but that is not permanent annoying as "I Know Admin Is Doing its best to provide us better Forum use" so that is temporary feeling nothing to explain this further .
and also I support that Win Win situation for all of us, Gladly now we are back to normal.
