Spanish National Court ordered the precautionary blocking and suspension in of Telegram app in Spain because of copyright complains.
Telegram is still working in Spain but mobile operators will block it and it is possible that you will need to use vpn and download from other sources if they remove it from stores.

No need for vpn, it is much easier than that. A proxy channel, Proxy MTProto, has been circulated internally on telegram that allows you to bypass the ban and everyone I know is using it. A friend of mine has told me that this was tried in Brazil and France and was unsuccessful. It's embarrassing. Now the only countries other than Spain where Telegram is banned are China, Pakistan, Iran and North Korea.

Based on the article the ban is valid, Telegram has been allowing copyright items to be uploaded on their platform, maybe because they lack the features to trace the copyright items with hundreds of millions of users Telegram finds it hard to stop these users' practice.
If they keep doing this Telegram will be banned in many countries they have an example of why they should be blocked so they need to take action if they don't want to lose their standing in the market.

If it was tried in those two countries and it was not successful than I dont understand how you can say there is no need for vpn ;D

Nobody is watching full length movies and videos on telegram, and I think there is some file size limitation.
I think copyright issue is not the main reason why they want to ban telegram, but they are doing the same thing like China.

As I said before, because you can simply use a proxy, which with two clicks avoids the ban.
As an update, the judge who ordered the ban, first suspended it as a precautionary measure and after a few hours has suspended it definitively. I think he did not understand very well how Telegram works, he has understood it better now and has come to his senses.

Have copyright complaints? Like the groups that are posting copyright content within Telegram? Is that the problem? I think aside from banning it or something within the country, why not just ban the group? I think it's a harsh thing that it's being blocked or something.

Because the judge has no way of banning just the group, and according to what I have read he sent an injunction to Dubai, which is where Telegram is located, and they have wiped their ass with it. According to what I just read also in a Spanish forum, it seems to be true what I said in my previous post, that the judge did not have much idea of what Telegram is or how it works. It has been like a tantrum which he has had to back down once he has understood how it works.

Telegram is a free platform on its own and it can be likened to be a free world on its own as well. So therefore anything can happen there as nothing is censored. The telegram community is so much that it would be very difficult to know who exactly did that with the features programmed in the sense that one can hide their contact information and only user name would be allowed but however, telegram still can have the number of who ever defaults the rules but I believe they would not want to do so because the community matters to them as that is their business base so anyone can use it and anyhow they like. Ban or no ban anyone who wants to use telegram can still do that.

In fact, Telegram is one of the largest platforms with its own free messaging tool that lets you send and receive messages from your contacts without sharing your phone number. Moreover telegram has become well known for its end-to-end encryption. Nowadays it is very common to talk about the privacy of conversations. Surely you already know that intelligence agencies track our messages and calls, so using Telegram is no longer negotiable You will get all kinds of benefits from this platform which is dynamic for your business.

Because of the same lack of cooperation with public authorities, and privacy features, that was the reason why telegram was blocked in countries like Cuba, Pakistan, China and Thailand. Now, Spain had join, although it was a temporary ban that happened in March this year.
I don't think what the Spain court is asking from telegram, will be easily released(the provision of information about the users uploading copyright content). If telegram should have that release, people would lose their trust towards them via the privacy of their chats

Is this the first time that we will be hearing about copyright, why are they taking their own time to waste it on what is not just happening for the first time of its kind, instead, what i expect from them is in looking at the possible causes to why some people were doing this and then find a possible solution in tackling against the menace, some approach we use in solving problems may later end up worsening the condition.

I will agree with you here, as your opinion is what I think should be the necessary step taken to address certain situations. You know, sometimes such an approach and verdict turn out to worsen the situation because the verdict itself proffered no solution to the situation at hand, so the respondents would either seek other means to sort themselves out or do the unthinkable, which still shows that the verdict holds no water, and in some cases, what the respondents or accused might result in doing would somehow be worse than the initial.
