So I was wondering how many of you have ever won something you deemed worthwhile online. Say it be spinning games, giveaways, all expense paid trips, gambling (which I don't encourage tho :-X).
Nowadays, Twitter is full of giveaways. If you look at some platforms like Binance, Trust Wallet, Bitget, Kucoin ; even some KOLS that do giveaways. I saw some good giveaway prices like PS5, Laptops and more. I know that doesn't seem true, cos I always thought they used to farm engagements. But looking forward to now it doesn't look even fake, since people are still getting the stuff they won and announcing it on their profile.. :o
So it doesn't matter if you are lucky or not, you'll surely win something even if it's some crypto tokens or coupons. :-*
Let's hear your awesome and not so awesome experiences?

The crypto market has become extremely vibrant with many investors, traders, companies, projects... Each company wants its products to reach users and contests with large prizes are an effective way to market. We also know that many users have received rewards thanks to their ability or luck, events from reputable projects are not scams and are worth participating in if users have time or ability.
Unfortunately, I have never received a reward from such events. I am not a regular trader to participate in and win trading competitions, and I am not lucky enough to be one of the tens of thousands of users selected in Twitter information sharing events. Anyway, participating in sharing information about CEX is quite interesting, it gives me a little bit of hope and also helps CEX develop more in the future, me and other users will be more assured and the crypto market will also develop.

I don't think I have before since the other times I tried it in the past, I didn't find myself to be lucky(being among the lucky participants). Due to that reason, I find the need not to bug myself on anything that will do with luck because I don't find myself to be that lucky

If you include winning on online casinos yes I did many times and I cannot count how many times I won but behind those winnings are also huge amounts of losses which I also forgot.
It's always a great feeling to win something but for you to win you have to take risks, and those risks are betting money or making a lot of effort.

It is with good and accomplished feelings when one realizes they had won something tangible and meaningful be it online or offline. But in this case OP placed emphasis online. If you would agree with me, airdrops are contested for in the sense that there are some task attached to fulfillment purpose before the rewards are distributed to those who had won the airdrop contest. So in that case, I have been able to take part in airdrops at my early age in crypto and I have won many airdrops same way too others including casinos were I played games and won and also otherwise. Most of the airdrops have task attached to them, which every contestant must fulfill accordingly to be part of the winners to be airdropped their rewards.

So, I guess I'm missing so many giveaways then.
I've been active on Twitter these past few weeks, and I can't see any of these giveaways. :D
As for winnings, I didn't win any item such as the ones you shared OP, but the one that I won is Bitcoin. I still remember when @icopress launched a contest on Bitcointalk where we will predict the price of Bitcoin on a specific time. That was when a fellow user that's very active on Bitcointalk unfortunately died and his parents choose to give the Bitcoin donations to other people instead of taking it. To cut the story short, I won second place at that time, and I think I got around 0.0075 BTC at that time. Not bad especially that I joined for free.
Well, I guess I'll be more active on Twitter to spot these giveaways then. :)

I have been lucky enough to have won three different contests.
The first two was in Bitcointalk and the contest was organized by BCGAME, it’s a prediction contest and the price was $50, I am still unsure how I was able to pull that off but I still did.
The last one I won was in altcoinstalk, it’s was a raffle organized by Unijoin, and I managed to get the correct number - although the price is still on its way to me - I am still actively tracking it until it gets to my destination.
That’s all, three different contests and writing this post just makes me realize how lucky I have been.

I won several times. There was a competition for the tenth anniversary of the founding of BTT and I won a small amount in it, and I won some competitions on Twitter. The total profits from these competitions may be less than 0.05 Bitcoin, but they may be worth a lot in the future.
I win some challenges on Instagram, but they are mostly gym-related, so they are usually free subscriptions, free meals, or indoor plants.
-
Yes i won huge things from online even my first achievement was received a NFT which i was received from Altcointalks giveaway. It was my first income from online. And i sold that NFT $300. I was very happy to get it.
And after that i am wining regularly drom online. I received many $ from Bounty and airdrop. And some times i get many offer from different Exchanger.

Amongst the several things you listed above, I believe I can say I've had series of wins via online gambling.
You're right that there are lots of giveaways, offers and freebie offers online that'll wanna attract one to partake in them, but I'm not a fan of online giveaways and freebies, I'm a man that believe that to get something, you must give something, so that's why I do gamble sometimes, at least I'm risking something with expectations of something in return, rather than giving nothing but expecting something in return.
-
Apart from gambling, I have never won anything online because I hardly go for them. Gambling is a norm out there and you need to stake something to get it, meaning it is not free. As for the free wins, I have not tried them out, since I am not the type of person that love contest that much.

Hmm..does that mean that your name hugeblack implies to your body stature, I asked this based on your comment above. I have not won a competition based on gyming online, but I have won a gym competition offline.

No, it was a wrong translation of dark matter. I was searching for some things related to space when I logged into BTT forum for the first time. I thought it was an old forum and I would only spend 10 min, but I continued for more than 7 years.
I only use this nickname here, since BTT does not allow changing the name.
I started the gym in 2013. I do not exercise regularly, but in general the results are acceptable.

I havent won anything from Twitter giveaways, because I hardly participate there. Number of participants makes is really hard to win something. But I have won, and not even once, in gambling competitions (predict sports outcome) on the forum, won twice in my life in price prediction competitions, and won something in drawing contest (because there were not enough participants). However, I think it is useless to discuss who won, where and how. As those who participate, always win (you just have to wait and be persistent).

It's a lot more easier to win gambling than online giveaways, especially on social medias like X (formally kniwn as twitter), just like you stated, there are thousands of people participating in the giveaways and your chances of winning a price are quite slim, but gambling gives you a higher chance to win, even if there are also millions of people participating in gambling, you still have a higher chance of winning because you're not in competition with nobody.

I'd participated in dozens of contests/giveaways/lotteries etc online but had never won anything yet. May be luck isn't favouring me. But I hope good day will come one day and I win everything.
-
Well, there are a lot of KOLs that are going to dump on you if you have chosen the wrong one to follow. I know that there are a lot of celebrities that are making projects and announcing them and just dumping on the people who believe in the project.
A lot of under the table talks and then just dumps when the buying happens. It's common now. So when I see contests, I just make sure I don't put money or minimal fee, like a lottery ticket or something.
If it's a type of investing it would be hard to justify for myself.

It's not about luck being on your side mate, it's just you wasting your precious time on irrelevances, without even realizing it.
Some of these giveaways are just mere hypes, there are really no price to be won, they're fake shits, just to attract followers and traffics on their social media handles, and then they fake winners and forge payments to deceive people and make them troop into their pages and social media handles and then make money off others' desperation and nativity.

I haven't received any gifts so far spinning games, gambling here and i am totally useless. Twitter is full of giveaways seems fake to me because i have participated in many airdrops that i have collected from twitter but i have never received any giveaways. I have bought lots of lotteries but never got any prizes. It's really a game of luck but I've had a lot of success in crypto life. I got a big profit from dogecoin which was the surprise of my life. Because when i bought dogecoin everyone treated it as shitcoin. Dogecoin pump was beyond my imagination which i never imagined.

I have never received online prizes from all existing social media, the prizes they offer are mostly fake, they only encourage their followers to grow and appear active,
but I don't know if anyone really gets the prizes offered. I think I'm the type of person who is unlucky in the lottery

Scammers mostly used online social media giveaway offers to steal their target's personal information and use it to swindle their money. Some even go as far as impersonating well known celebrities and cloning their social media accounts just to make the whole thing real and believable, and quite funny enough, people actually fall for those cheap scams and lose their valuable information and even fund to scammers all in the name of trying to win online giveaways.

You are correct mate. Scammers can be very trickish and can offer mouth watering give away that would be too tempting to avoid. For that of impersonation, I can say for sure that is what they do. They are always ahead to see how they can swindle money out of someone through any means available.
There have been a case on the other platform where a scammer impersonated a particular bounty manager to scam members of the managers community but it was a smart one for a member to detect and contact the manager and discovered the other was a clone, an impersonator and that was how that Scammer was exposed and reported and the handle blocked.
Most times, people fall for scam as a result of their greed nothing much. Greed is a major factor that leads to falling for scam. When an individual wants it all alone and would fail to consult other parties to verify just for the mentality that they would join them to take it all. With that mentality, btheu would want to be the first to claim it and that is how they get scammed.

I've won a few bucks from gambling here and there, but honestly the most memorable thing I've ever won was before the internet was a big thing. I had to be caller 10 to a radio station to win Eminem tickets and was lucky enough to win them. While it wasn't huge monetarily, it was cool to get on the radio.
-
I have only won from online gamblings but if giveaways I have no luck I wanted to experience the thrill of winning one I have tried joining but failed to win. may the power of luck be bestowed on me and let me win next time I decide to join a giveaway.
-
I won many gives away and airdrops , but nowadays at twitter scammers and hackers are active they will send you nft and free tokens when you try to claim it they hack your wallet . so i now focus on exchange and legit KOLs events to win the reward . So guys pay attention and don't share your wallet address before checking the details.

There are so many opportunities now. But I tried participating in tournaments and promotions from Fairspin, you could win tokens from them and then staking them under a big APY. I still make a little money from that. I'm not sure about airdrop though, as it's usually rare to win anything with it

That's for sure, I myself am not sure sometimes that you should expect a good airdrop from some projects, sometimes it's better to try to invest in older and more promising projects already

Some people have actually won tangible things online through giveaways and other forms of competitions organized online while there are others that are scam and just created for the purpose of farming traffic and even with the reviews or testimonials that people give on them platforms that they won something, you can never really trust these people because those reviews can be fake or given by people who work hand in hand with these scammers.

I don't think I have won anything online. Most of those online competitions are scams and would eventually cause one to enter some sensitive bank details which could be catastrophic. Unless you mean crypto competitions, yes I have won a few. Not much. I recently won a new Telegram bot price

I have win many things online, especially on telegram group asking of questions and I provided the answer, which was given to me long term ago. In other words, one can win something online like football betting after have stake you're bet, at the end the matches decided on your bet won. I think that is also online Wining.
