For now,  I choose exchange with proof of reserves. Although, I use Bitget the most because apart from their huge proof of reserve, they have more features and I can more coins to trade there. So, the best way to be safe using and exchange is knowing they are proof of reserve.

As for me no exchange I'd save because of the way government is hunting them. Binance hunt down in my country and persecuted, some of it staff were arrested because of the manipulation of the National Currency with dollar and for that we left Binance because they removed the p2p button in the country so we use another exchanges that have the p2p button and recently the government is planning to clampdown some the major exchanges again so we are not certain in the country which of the is the best. And most of this issues are caused by the exchanges by not obeying the National Laws. Though Binance was good and since Binance is no more there, most of us are using OKX, bitget, Kucoin and etc. And they are doing well in the trading process.

Of course, many people choose Binance at the moment... the existence of Binance and its position which still dominates the cryptocurrency exchange market is a strong reason why many people trust Binance with their assets. Maybe there are still people who argue between centralized and decentralized exchanges, but up to now we all know that centralized exchanges are still king, and decentralized Bitcoin is still the king of cryptocurrencies.

Even though there is no CZ anymore, I still believe in Binance's business journey so that its BNB coin has received enough attention to occupy the Top 10 on the cryptocurrency list at CMC.

I have no experience of using Phemex and Coinstore exchange. I only use Binance exchange from your list. If asked which exchange is my favorite out of the 3 exchanges you mentioned then I would say Binance and the exchanges I use for trading outside of that is Kucoin. But I think that Binance exchange is enough for me so far.

Yes, I am also using Binance as my main CEX, although I do use a few other CEXs such as GateIO, KuCoin, XT, Coinsbit, Latoken... Binance's services are really good: Spot, P2P, user Support... and I have no complaints in the 5 years I've been using it. My only regret is not accumulating a lot of BNB and using a lot of BNB to pay for transaction fees during the crypto winter 2018-2019. It would have been better if I had held them and made more profit from the increase in BNB's price.

I believe that CZ has a plan for Binance to continue to develop without his direct leadership in the future. After settling the lawsuit, the number of users and trading volume on Binance has recovered well and reaffirmed Binance's role in the crypto market. Binance's monthly proof of reserves and Safu are reasons for users to continue to trust and choose Binance when entering the crypto market.

I was using Binance mainly, but after our government restricted their services, I have made kucoin my next choice, but I still miss binance for the ease. I use Kucoin but still will not recommend to anyone, especially a newbie, that it is safe enough for them to store their crypto investment there or any other exchange in general.

There is no exchange that is super safe and can be trusted completely.

For now I use some local exchange market and for global exchange Binance, Kucoin and Gate io are my exchange market for trading and arbitrage transaction. I don't too loyal with one exchange only and looking for the opportunity when listing new coins which one market seems profitable for trading. Indeed Binance is most trusted exchange and some trader not popular with Gate io but during have much profit when arbitrage or trade new coins listing its not much problem for me trade at not really popular exchange market.
Not get problem with deposit and withdrawing fund then get bigger volume transaction keep interested or using some not popular exchange market for trading.

There may be problems in some countries regarding the use of Binance. Luckily my country is not too strict on Binance and for now I still use Binance to trade. This exchange has a fairly high trading volume so it is very suitable for trading.

      -   For me, the exchanges that can be said to be okay to use are Mexc, Bybit, Okx, Bitget, Gate.io, and Binance. Although this binance is currently facing an issue in our country, it is only temporary for now, and in the future everything will be fine.

But the rest that I mentioned are the ones that are often used right now for me to do trading activity to get profit most of the time every week.
This one is also a source of income.

During the ICO boom days, I usually got into many exchanges all because when a coin is listed in a particular exchange there is no choice but to work in there. And so I encountered many famous and not-so-famous exchanges most of them were CEXs, Today, I am more into Binance but since it got a big problem with my government I shifted to Bybit and Kucoin since I am a big fan of the convenience of the P2P option. Crypto exchanges have evolved through the years after many of them experienced trials and errors and what we are seeing these days are solid CEXs like Binance, Kucoin, OKX, Bybit, MEXC and so much more. Tested by fire and hailstorm, crypto exchanges must do everything in their disposal to remain safe, secure and solid as hackers are always watching them every minute to look for possible weaknesses. Now, the most important thing is never put your coins on deposit on these exchanges and only use them if you are trading something...this is the top number one rule when dealing with CEXs. With the government exerting their regulatory and taxation  power, I am sure that the landscape of this industry is going to be changing and I am hoping that we the small crypto players are to be benefitted with the changes.

I just heard about Phemex and Coinstore, but Binance is best for trading, but not for storing your main assets.
However, it is not advisable to store all your assets in CEX because it will also be at risk when some hacks occur.

Binance is indeed the most popular right now and already has SAFU as a safeguard for user assets, but it won't fully secure it.

So far, I'm using Binance and also local exchange that is registered in government. And those are the exchanges I'm most comfortable using. because you may be used to the appearance and various features in it. Previously, I also cursed several other exchanges such as:"
- OKEX (OKX)
- Kucoin
- Bitmart
and several other exchanges. but it really doesn't last long. In the sense that once I'm done selling some coins, that's it, I'll transfer them to my Binance. and then or directly to the local exchange in my country. so that when one day I need cash, I can easily make a withdrawal.

All exchanges are good one if they meet up to your standard because what everyone is looking in exchange is different, they are all subjective but I have some advice for you, never keep your coin on any exchange. An exchange is not supposed to be a place to store  coin but to get exchange them and once you are done, you move it to external wallet.

What discussion we should be having is type of wallet and recommended ones for keeping our coins safe without any breech or any form of hack in the future.

My choice is Binance: I think a lot of the majority of cryptos have a Binance account to trade there because it's one of the top exchanges now.

Have created a Phemex account but never traded there on this exchange anyway did not complete KYC.

Coinstore. New to it now, probably an exchange with low volume levels.

I have used many centralized and decentralized exchanges, and I believe that Binance is the best in terms of reliability, liquidity, and daily exchange volume, but of course there are many other good exchanges that are not much less than Binance.

It is better to have several accounts on several exchanges and not put all your money in one place. Currently, I work on more than one exchange, such as OKX, Kucoin, and CoinEx. I also have accounts on some other small exchanges that I use sometimes when necessary.

I have been using binance for quite a long time and it has been dominating as one of the leading exchanges. I believe most of the traders first choice is binance because of its easy user interface. I have also been using kucoin and it is also good.

When choosing the safest exchange, of course, the exchange with the most users and trading volume, which is Binance. I am not familiar with the other exchanges mentioned above, and I do not see them on the top list of best exchanges. It is uncommon for an exchange to scam us since it is difficult to create this platform, and they should prioritize the protection of their consumers' assets or risk losing them.

Binance and Kucoin are considerably the safest exchange in my opinion, there are hundred other which I am not using at all cause I stopped trading activities a long back.

Whoever choosing their exchange should be aware of the fees structure, withdrawal fee and trading pairs.

Is this thread created towards shilling two unknown exchanges?

To be fair, staying put at Binance has helped me avoid so many troubles in my time. I understand that people could consider going into other exchanges for many many reasons, but I do not see that as a good deal for me. I personally believe that the best we have right now is just getting to the safest one and staying there. There is of course no guarantee that Binance is %100 safe, but by the looks of it, its the safest. It had all the troubles that other exchanges had, like getting tens of millions of dollars stolen, but they managed to keep it going, whereas other exchanges just bankrupted and closed. This is why Binance is the one I will keep using forever as long as they stay.

Actually not your key is not your coin, but Binance is more secure exchange market for saving our assets and that exchange have been long term operation without get any problem yet although have changed with their CEO. But for long term trading or holding assets hold in own wallet is better than exchange wallet because to avoid with bad speculation in the future how second top standings exchange like FTX got scam.
I know Binance is most trusted exchange but can't guarantee yet until how long that exchange make our assets keep secure, many top exchange before have been collapse and not good ideas holding assets for long term in exchange.

That's right, so far Binance has been the safest place to store the cryptocurrency assets that we have. Binance was even hit by a hacker attack some time ago but they were still able to secure all of their users' assets and continue to provide the best service. I also heard that Binance was not It is immediately known to many users that they apply insurance for all assets on the exchange.

Never heard of Phemex before, even Coinstore is also new to me. I mostly use Binance, but now my shift is moving toward other centralized exchanges as well. I sometimes use DEXs for some purposes like when the token is only available on DEXs. Besides I liked the exchanges I use at the moment besides the Kucoin. As when SEC opened there investigation against KuCoin a great fud was created.

And withdrawals were also too slow after the news, I was worried that people might lose their funds. TBH I did not have any funds at that time, but one of my local community members shared a story that he had funds for it. And withdrawal was too slow that he was damn worry. Obviously I chose Binance for a comparison of several centralized exchanges. A higher reputation is of course my main consideration as to why Binance is a better choice. I think being trusted by millions of people in the world has made them aware of their position which is important enough to secure money from many people. The staff from Binance are of course monitored more closely because the circulation of money on the exchange is quite high, this makes it seem like they are being continuously watched by the world police.

Since 2019 I have been using Binance and until now, my account is still fine and there has never been anything suspicious. There has never been a case that threatened the existence of my assets, so at least I can trust Binance until now.

I agree with you, we should not use new exchanges with big funds, the ones I mentioned like Binance, ByBit, and OKX (did not mention before) are good, old, and reputed exchanges. We can trust these exchanges but never blindly use these exchanges. Especially if a person is not very active and not seeing the latest news then he might become a victim of some kind of fud. For example, Houbi is a good exchange, until some hackers hacked the website and inserted phishing links in it.

People are the ones who notice it, I mean the team is not aware of the issue, people are the first who notice it. Therefore even if we are using old, reputed exchanges, we still have to be careful with our funds, and its essential for us to keep an eye on the news section.

Binance is as good as it gets annothing else will ever be as good as them. Remember, this is the same company that was fined 4.3 billion dollars, every single order on the books, ever member, every user, everything was checked, and they did not find anything aside from money laundering. While that is also not a nice thing to help, and they paid their fine for it, it still shows that the funds are all safe with them and nothing is wrong with them. They are doing something incredible at the moment by having all the SEC's eyes on them every moment, for every line of code, and every little detail, and nothing that should scare us has been found.

The best and safest exchange for me is Binance Exchange or Cuckooin Exchange which is the safest to use.  Because this is where the most secure transactions are completed, especially when using P2P, the most secure transactions are completed.  That's why I use these two exchanges for the most transactions.

It's been a long time since I used overseas exchanges like Binance, for two years or so I've stuck with one of the best local exchanges in my country. That being said, I won't act like they will protect my funds forever, so I never store any money there. Most exchanges have similar security features in my country, so the features that set them apart are related to cheaper withdrawal fees, easy-to-use apps, fast notification/e-mail, etc. On top of that, I use DEX nowadays if I want to trade altcoins that are not available on the exchange that I used.

Cuckooin Exchange which is the safest to use.
What exchange is this? Maybe you meant to say Kucoin?

Have created a Phemex account but never traded there on this exchange anyway did not complete KYC.

Coinstore. New to it now, probably an exchange with low volume levels.
I am really agree with you. Binance is most safest exchange right now. And it also largest crypto exchanger in the world. Most popular and good currency listed here. Which currency fulfil Binance Charitra and listed on Binance that currency will be good i think. Because Binance ruls are not too easy. Who fulfil it that will be good i think.

Binance huge trusted Big big investor investing Billion dollar’s in Binance without any confusion. So i will suggest for Binance.

Talking about safe then its not really that something that could be 100% but its true that when it comes to credibility and popularity then Binance would really be having it on which most
projects do really target out on making themselves on getting listed on which it basically means or shows that how trustable and known this platform is.
In overall or in general about exchangers is that its not 100% safe specially on storing up your funds, we do know that they are on the hotseat on which regulation
issues or other potential problems could exist on which it might be ending up on having that kind of problem because of locked up funds or getting hack
and other potential issues. So we do know the drill which its common sense.

Its not bad on putting up some funds considering that we are making some trading on which it would really be understandable that we would really be sticking into the most reputable or known exchange which is Binance. It would really be just that common sense that we would really be sticking into that rather than on using some unknown or not really that popular exchange.
Risks is there but at least we've stick with the best or current choice.

Simply put, if beginners are interested in looking at the list of top exchanges, Binance is number 1. So, if we still doubt Binance, what about other exchanges, right? In essence, it is true, there is no exchange that is 100% safe and there is no guarantee of 100$ that the exchange will continue to last forever. Various surprising things may still occur, but, nevertheless, it is indeed part of the risks. So, just choose, which risk to choose and to what extent we take that risk. Rather than choosing a small exchange with only a small market cap, it's better to go to Binance, right? Even if you can't access Binance, there are still other top exchanges you can try and comply with regulations in your country.

Yes i am acctually want to tell that. There has no any 100% safe exchange in cryptocurrency market. But Binance is trusted and safe from others i think. And i told it. Overall i am agree with you. I think most whales are using Binance for Trust issue.
I would single out the Binance exchange as a good option for as long as possible when it comes to holding assets for a certain period of time, that is, not only trading. What kind of new services are waiting for them, can be seen and updated on their social networks through the site itself. The community is really active.

It seems that there are many Binance fans on the AltcoinsTalks forum, I am one of them ^^ Binance is always the first CEX that I recommend when someone wants to join the crypto market. Many other CEXs are also very good and also have proof of reserves, but they cannot provide the same good interface, utilities, features and services as Binance.

Of course, I also encourage everyone to use many other CEXs to diversify their risks and avoid losing all of their assets when a CEX has legal or hacker problems. In addition to Binance, investors can refer to and use Coinbase, GateIO, Bybit, Bitget...

There is no safe exchange at all. Even though I have been using a couple of exchanges for a couple of years, the worst exchange was Coinbase. Apart from that, I am using Binance, Kucoin, by bit and bitget as well. I usually use Binance to sell my coins for local cash. But, I started using Bybit more lately due to participating in airdrops.

Bybit offering great promotions now a days to their new customers and I am one of them who got some benefit from Bybit. Anyway, I always recommend not to use Centralized exchanges to store your crypto. There are no safe exchange.

I have not had the opportunity to use Coinbase because Coinbase does not serve users in Russia and Vietnam. I think it is more reputable and secure than Binance because it always tries to comply with the US regulations. Coinbase has not had any legal issues like Binance Global & US.

Each user will be satisfied with a CEX. Bybit has been around for a long time but only really became popular since the bullrun 2021. My friends are using Bybit, they prefer to trade futures on Bybit than Binance, but I am not interested in future so I have not tried to create my own account on Bybit. To be honest, managing multiple accounts on multiple CEXs is really quite complicated and time consuming.

As you said, users should understand that CEXs are places to trade, not places to store too many assets. Personal wallets are the right place for self-custody of crypto.

Coinbase is a public company. They cannot afford to have any legal issues like those suffered by Binance, FTX, and KuCoin. Otherwise everybody's shares would collapse, people would lose money, it would erase gains and portfolios on the stock market, and there could be grounds for a class-action lawsuit too.

Other CEXs, should not have a problem with this kind of thing. Although you should not use too many exchanges so that you don't have to give your ID to all of them.

I don't want to talk about their reputations. All I know is, there are no safe CEX. I was talking about their service. I got the worst service from Coinbase. It's been almost two or three years since I do not use them because they have suspended my account. But they have sent me a email to withdraw my funds before they close my account and I was able to withdraw them.

Not only me but a lot of my locals had the same issue. The worst service is, their support takes ages to respond. I was never been able to contact live chat. I guess they don't have any live chat. They take months to response emails. Imagine your money stuck somehow and they never responded. How would you feel?

There is a full list that can be found on the popular crypto site, I am a user of Phemex, Binance and Coinstore exchanges, no errors so far. Which is your choice?

From experience, we should know that binance is the world largest and number one leading cryptocurrency centralized exchange, they have been known for that, however, we should also never forget about the implications of using a centralized exchange, because there is no privacy in using them as well as how they can be easily attacked and if in case anything happens to them, we also lost all our investment assets with them.

Not your keys Not your coins- This has always been the primary rule and just like on what i had mentioned above. This is something that you should be putting up into your mind.
Make use on the amount which are really just that intended for making up trading and never ever putting up all t he funds you do have. Speaking about reputation and popularity
then Binance is the current known and popular but doesnt mean that it would really be that 100% safe. Always consider out some potential problems that might
occur within these platforms and this is why expect the unexpected as always.

After new regulation and Coinbase not allow to use in my country I leave with that exchange although firstly exchange I used in cryptocurrency trading.
Binance is good exchange for trading or investing assets but using Bybit always has new promotion every new coins listing trough trading competition or joining many kinds of airdrop.

All exchange security depend on exchange its self, but some exchange will protect our account when accessing by the other make abnormal activities and require resubmit for KYC.

Binance is one of the big exchanges and they are also trusted by many users. This is one of my favorite exchanges I use. But is it completely safe? of course not.

In my opinion, there is no place that is truly safe, it's just that we can see and compare which one has a lower risk, that's all. We can choose based on our experience and also looking at other people's experiences, that's very important in my opinion.

Holding the title as the number one exchange in the cryptocurrency space, should make Binance more careful in its steps. The reputation that has been built since it was built should be their valuable capital in getting new users. Everyone will think that Binance will not act in a way that even involves fraud, because currently those monitoring it are not only world governments and people who are fanatical about Binance or CZ... but all the things it has achieved are also monitoring every decision it makes. taken by the CEO.... Maybe it's true, CZ is not at Binance anymore, but I think that's just in front of the scenes... behind the scenes I'm sure CZ still controls Binance..

The security of an account depends on the user. If users do not use secure options to save their account from scammers/hackers by using 2FA, then it's their fault. They cannot blame the exchanges for that. Exchanges do not always ask for KYC's as it bothers users too much. Instead, they ask them to verify their email again.

But if an exchange gets hacked like how a Japanese exchange was hacked a week ago, then it is the fault of the exchange. A user has nothing to do to project an exchange. It's their developers duty to keep the exchange protected.

To be fair, it is quite obvious that a lot of people make a lot of mistakes on their own personal accounts. If you do have money, then you should be doing a lot better security of your own account. I have never been a rich person in my entire life, and the most I held in my account ever for longer than an hour has been just a few hundred dollars, I always move it out as soon as I get it, and to be fair I am not rich anyway so even when some money goes in, its just a few hundred dollars at a time. All in all, rich people who have thousands and even millions should look to make sure their money is not in exchanges, no matter how safe the exchange looks.

So that can also be a consideration for us to determine which exchange we can trust. Their reputation is very good and they built it not in a very short time, so they will definitely think about doing anything, because they are risking what they have built over many years.

As users, we must also first look at their reputation, because nowadays it is easy to see reviews from other users whether the exchange can be trusted or not.

The user experience varies from person to person and location to location as well. For example, US people can use Coinbase without having any problems. But at the same time, I had the worst experience using Coinbase. Most of the people recommend Coinbase because of the reputation they have built in the last couple of years.

Yet, exchanges like Coinbase can scam some users as well. If you search on the internet about coinbase scams, you will find a lot of reports where people's accounts were banned, and their balance was frozen by coinbase and they never get replies from coinbase.

I understand the needs for high demands in the use of centralized exchanges for crypto activities like trading and currencies p2p exchanges, but we must not forget to remember their risk and other requirements involved in making use of one, i always advise that people should make use of the search engine in knowing more about some of these exchanges, we also have e to read on their policies and understand their basic requirements before signing up for them.

Yes now a days centralized exchanger being popular for p2p exchanger. People can easily buy and sell his currency without any other's help even within short time.

Moreover Coinbase is more popular now a days. In USA Coinbase is very popular. And Coinbase is also very safe to exchange and hold currency.

So we also have to remain careful, because that doesn't mean they are completely safe. They also definitely have terms and conditions that apply and we also have to understand that. It comes back to ourselves because we definitely know what we can and cannot do to stay safe.

This is the reason I said that there is no safe exchange when it comes to centralized exchange. I don't think it is possible to keep your money in any DEX. But even if they design a system like you can deposit your money in a dex account, then they are not safe as well. I was talking about Coinbase because I have seen a couple of scam accusations against them. One of them was posted on Bitcointalk as well. When coinbase bans a user account and freezes their balance, coinbase does not reply to those users anymore. If you make any transactions with a casino, coinbase has the right to ban your account. I bet most people don't know about this rules and people still make a deposit to their casino account from coinbase.

Different choices would really be having that different possible experiences on which it could differ on each person. When choosing up on an exchange then you should
consider always its reputation plus it would be always best on reading up their terms and conditions on which reading up  their banned countries or even having those banned VPN service
on which this causes up a huge trouble or issues once get caught. Also, consider about choosing local exchange but eventually people will be sticking into those
top tier ones. It could be trusted but not 100%.

I don't think there is a safer exchange than the one we have research about and know well of their standard performance and that which is probably a decentralized one, but if we want to completely get safe from fear of missing out or risk on loosing our asset to some of these exchanges, we should better run a bitcoin full node and be safe about it, we have nothing to loss at the cause.

Well, sometimes they also force themselves to keep registering and using the service even though the service is "banned in a country", so this is what causes problems, after that they say that they have lost money because their account has been restricted or even permanently banned.

As service users, we also have to be smart and not force ourselves. We have to be really smart in choosing, because at stake is money that might be lost.

For long now Binance has been my primary exchange I do use and Bybit probit and mexc, I do used them because I have no problems while trading neither do I have any verification issues towards these exchange. Most times I uses Binance to trade not that regularly but just by doing little scalping holding few token when listed and sell when there seems to be change in percentage of the token price.

And it just shows that we have different experiences and not everyone would have given a exchange a 5 star rating as we have experience unpleasant on one exchanges and or the other hand, good on some wherein others felt differently.

So it depends on the individual, but I guess though that we an all agree that maybe Binance could be on top of the list of exchanges as personally, I don't have bad things to say. Regardless though, it's better specially if you are a newbie to have this kind of experiences so that you yourself knows first hand our everything works.

I also think Binance is leading the CEX marketplace at this moment. Even though Coinbase has some popularity, I don't think they are popular enough like Binance. CZ had to leave the platform to maintain its reputation. If you ask me, I would rate Coinbase 2 out of ten, and Binance will get eight out of ten. I have had some bad experiences with Coinbase.

No exchanges are safe when it comes to storing crypto. Exchanges are not supposed to be for holding cryptocurrencies but to sell and buy cryptos. Most exchanges TOS are similar. So, no matter how much I support Binance. Some users was scammed by Binance as well.

I would rather say that their business will decrease rather than disappear, because in some countries they either do not provide services or they avoid those countries. Because to say that their business will disappear, in my opinion that is something extreme.

In fact, the reason they ban certain users in a country is because it is the country's policy that makes them choose to avoid them. I can understand that because they also definitely want to protect their business.

Each country does have their own set of rules and regulations on which everything which is running under their vicinity would really be needing up to follow on whats that been set out.
So it would really be that understandable that country restrictions would really be that different to each other on those platforms and its true that they arent that tending to avoid
to make profit or revenue considering that opening up borders or service in all countries cant really just that possible and as said this doesnt mean that they are really that decreasing
on revenue or really that weakened.

So it would really be that understandable that country restrictions would really be that different to each other on those platforms and its true that they arent that tending to avoid

on revenue or really that weakened.
Yes, because they are still opening services in many countries and there are only a few countries where they don't provide services. And from each country they still get very large business profits, so it could be said that they still make a lot of profit.

It is also quite difficult for them if they want to open services in countries they avoid, because apart from the regulations of each country, they also have regulations which have criteria that are suitable for them.

There is a full list that can be found on the popular crypto site, I am a user of Phemex, Binance and Coinstore exchanges, no errors so far. Which is your choice?

         -  I just found out about this Phemex and Coinstore exchange. But I've been using Binance for a long time. I just noticed something in the coinstore, and I just looked and found out that it looks like it's a CEX platform, right?

Then what I noticed is that the APY will increase in terms of percentage; that's why I just don't know the coins listed there; that's why there are only 5 coins that can be selected, and there are four in the coinstore that I don't know, but their APY% will increase from 200%, 500%, and 913%. It really makes me think here's the link https://www.coinstore.com/earn/list?ts=1719058084545

In fact, one of the reasons why people will always look for casinos is to avoid transactions and comply with some taxes, in crypto it is about not complying with this, that is why issues like this always arise, but the VPN is so that they can access and play, I do not see anything wrong with it, of course the rules of many countries do not allow it, but come on, is crypto not made specifically to bypass these things? It is always better this way.

It's true, initially the purpose of creating crypto was to be able to handle things like this, but the problem they also faced was people who had the power to do something they thought was right.

We also cannot deny that they (the government or something similar) are always afraid, because they can no longer have full control. On the other hand, we also want things like this, because we can feel financial freedom.

Well unlike many people on the forum, I have a clear vision of what all governments want, for me no one is saved, they all want the same, sometimes circumstances make us be irreverent with a government because as a citizen one discovers their true intentions, and they are not good, they are very dirty I would say, but starting from the problem of not being able to control Crypto, bitcoin and many other things, they look for a way to be able to do their thing, like being able to extort in some way, that is why I have that opinion about governments.

I still quite believe that in government there are still many people with good intentions, but the problem is that people with good intentions will lose to those with bad intentions.

Those who have authority and create rules or policies and do so based on their own interests. And if this is related to crypto, it can be seen that they really don't want what they have controlled so far to just disappear, because there will be many things they won't be able to get again.

I would rather say that their business will decrease rather than disappear, because in some countries they either do not provide services or they avoid those countries. Because to say that their business will disappear, in my opinion that is something extreme.

plus having that potential lock up too with those funds, So better to considero out those risks,

As users, of course we have to consider the risks if we want to use platform services that are not available in our country, especially if it involves our large assets, so it is better for us to avoid these risks. Even though we can open services with VPN, the risk will be much greater too.

As users, we have to be really smart in deciding which one is good for us, so that we don't regret it in the end.

Its important point when using the exchange service available or not accessing without use VPN, currently many exchange get banned or suspend in my country when accessing trough my local IP.
I think big problem for user with mobile phone have install the VPN application will make their phone not secure yet because many kinds of important application in their mobile phone must using local IP.
I think all exchange need regulation from every country how to make their user not require using VPN when opening the exchange market website.

Using a VPN to unblock the exchanges we want to access needs to be reconsidered, especially since the Exchange account used has quite a lot of assets.
It will be more dangerous, especially if the VPN used is a free VPN, Cookies can be intercepted and used by other people.

I better avoid exchanges that are completely blocked by ISPs in my country.
But some Exchanges in the Website version are indeed blocked but can still be accessed through applications such as Binance, Bitget, OKX, etc.

As a user, we must be smarter, because carelessness will make our assets disappear.

Yes, don't let it happen that just by wanting to use a service, we force ourselves even though it is prohibited in our country and there are still many similar services that we can still use, so we don't need to force ourselves.

It is better to prevent than to cure, and it is better to avoid something that has a big risk than to have problems with that risk. We can be alert to something from the start.

Well maybe yes, things are always that way, but personally the interests of some politicians are too many and it is not convenient for them that some people do well, in fact in the country where I am, politicians who are relatively good (very good people) end up being removed in some way, so unfortunately what dominates more are the bad things than the good ones, and it is a Shame , but it is like that , I Could say that when it is our turn to do things better it is without thinking about governing ourselves and being as anonymous as possible, the more privacy we have the Better.

I used binance a lot before until my country bans the usage of it because they're not registered to operate here. I am currently using bybit but my trading activity has dropped a lot compared to the time when I was still with Binance. Aside from that, we've got a lot of local exchanges that I am also using and happy using them.

Between Bybit and the local exchange, you can actually focus on one of them, especially the local exchange if we see that there is already a coin pair that we want... the local exchange is more advantageous, because it is within the territory of each country, so if there is a problem when it comes to our money, local residents will certainly get better protection from the government and also the platform.

If you are forced to use Bybit, that's not a problem, because so far Bybit's reputation is quite good and trustworthy.

I have no problem with both of them, the local one is what I am mostly use at times. But I check bybit sometimes and see some good trades there. I just do not want the hassle of converting into fiat and that is why I am mostly stuck on our local exchange but if it is about the service of both, no issues for me even with their spreads.

Yes, we must protect privacy, the same is true in the crypto world. Sometimes we have to be able to look after what we have, because if we show it off it will invite a lot of bad people who will then become a threat to us.

Indeed, in the world of politicians, those with good intentions will be pushed aside, there is a conflict of interest which in the end means they will also join the circle. Not because they want to, but they are forced to make themselves safe.

Usually it is the user or ourselves who cause us to lose assets or something similar. One's own mistakes can only be realized and corrected by oneself, one way is by expanding knowledge and increasing awareness.

There are many cases like this and when we hear stories of them losing money it comes from themselves. From someone's bad experience, we can learn to be more careful in using anything related to our finances.

In fact, in terms of security the crypto is abused in my country with those of us using it. However the government commission of my country could not do any kind of problem in terms of exchange. But in that case binance, kucoin, gate etc. exchange are best for me and i sure have been using them. Most of the problems in countries where crypto is not accepted are caused by exchanges not complying with national laws. Since the government of my country has not made any announcement about closing the exchange, so i am sure that these exchanges are the best for me.

This of course would be Binance, and I do suggest using that for sure. I know that a lot of people have a lot of troubles using it, but if we keep this going then we are going to end up with something that is much larger. I am sure that its not going to be simple, and we could look at it like its something difficult to handle, but if we do this then we are not going to end up with any more problems ever again. Just realize that we can continue to keep this going, realize that you are going to end up with Binance giving you the best chance to protect it. At least if you really want to keep your money in an exchange, obviously a personal wallet would be better than any exchange out there, but I understand why many do not prefer it.

We all have what we want concerning the exchanges and we must have to go deep with the understanding of what some of these exchange stands for, we cannot just be using an exchange without having a reason why we have chosen such, we also have to be more careful about the use of centralized exchanges because they require for KYC and our data on them are not private.

Other people's bad experiences can also be a reference to learn so that you don't get stuck in the same problem and can be more careful.
But it's very rare for beginners to do this, they will only look at someone's success regardless of how many defeats go on behind that success.

I've also had a lot of losses in the past, stuck in a problem that shouldn't have happened because I didn't learn from the problems that happened to other people.

Beginners will only follow their feelings when they are so optimistic about something that they want to try, even if someone shared a bad experience they will still be trying it because they just love it. Therefore beginners love something and trying it for the first time will be exciting. They won't be excited if they don't love something but are forced by others because others have good experience with it.

Keep one thing in mind, never stop trying a thing that you think is bad for you just because someone else had a bad experience.
But in the future they will start to realize because they experienced it themselves. Usually such people will realize after they have lost a lot of things that they will regret.
We should take lessons from other advice, for example, I read a news about how owners of Word blocked because repetitive posts sites are scamming people but there is no evidence of that but many people are facing such scams. So this bad experience is giving us the lesson that we should also stop.

Majority would really be something like this but there would really be those people who would really be that mindful or making up some research first before they would really be making out
some decisions on dealing into something. Yes, there are really noobs who are really that too careful on dealing up with things but most of them do dives without proper preparation or research

Yes, experience is indeed the best teacher, because we will only get it through our experiences. We will experience feelings that we never get from theories that we read in books or hear from others.

If we are able to dig deeper into what we experience, why we ultimately have to experience something like that, then we will be better in the future. But if we cannot learn from our mistakes, then we will fall back into the same hole every time.

I've never participated in any ICO event. I think they were very common around 2017-2018. But I preferred airdrops instead then.

I started using P2P on Binance also until they stopped working in my region. So, I mostly use Bitget and Bybit now. While I miss Binance somewhat because at the beginning, my new choices both had low P2P volume or bidders initially. But after P2P became more popular, they started to have high P2P volume, and that's when I started to have issues with some Bybit P2P traders.
I had to stop using the exchange when I had an issue like this guy here:(https://i.ibb.co/PzZsMSJ/Screenshot-2024-08-06-17-36-49-323-edit-com-twitter-android.jpg). .
So, now I use Bitget only for my P2P and have had no issues to date. I never believed there was a possible scam when using P2P until I experience a situation when I released find without me getting paid, and the user and support did not bother about it. I see this as my fault, but I was forced to stop using the exchange because it was traumatizing.

Despite the scare, I'm still using P2P on the exchange I currently trust, which has provided good service so far. This experience has slowly built some confidence back, and I hope to regain full confidence soon.

We should take lessons from other advice, for example, I read a news about how owners of Word blocked because repetitive posts sites are scamming people but there is no evidence of that but many people are facing such scams. So this bad experience is giving us the lesson that we should also stop.

It's not true that there is no evidence against Word blocked because repetitive posts. There are dozens of threads on Bitcoin about free wallet scams and there are a lot of complaints on the internet. A couple of people filed law suit against Word blocked because repetitive posts already but I don't know the progress since those members did not shared what is going on.

I remember that a forum member who was a victim of Word blocked because repetitive posts asking if someone else was scammed by Word blocked because repetitive posts or not. He was asking for their details so he can include it in his case. If you check scam accusation board on Bitcointalk, I am sure you will find a couple of them.

There is a full list that can be found on the popular crypto site, I am a user of Phemex, Binance and Coinstore exchanges, no errors so far. Which is your choice?
Of the three exchanges, I only have Binance because I'm not the type of trader who moves around, I won't create accounts on many exchanges because many exchanges currently require KYC, so I'm too lazy to create new accounts on all exchanges

I think that Binance gotten many people users confidence for many years now and may always be the top crypto exchange anyday. On the safety of users funds, I doubt if there has been cases of missing funds from it's large users, however, others exchange has also leave up to expectations of their users too. In my opinion, tie one exchanges are really safe to store or save crypto assets and I personally use Binance, Kucoin and Bybit exchange to safe some of my crypto portfolios.

Binance still be more favorable exchange market on top global right now and in my country Indonesia more than 80% cryptocurrency trader use binance for trading than using local exchange market. Have much volume transaction each coins list on binance based on their regulation any coins have lower volume in daily day will delist.
In my opinion seems not enough store bitcoin or altcoin assets only one exchange, some exchange have offer with early listing than Binance and my trading exchange depend which one exchange will listing new coins early for trading.

There is no such thing as a "safe exchange". Because all exchanges have custody of your coins, so if they go down, you lose everything and your only option is to file a claim against them during bankruptcy proceedings.

Of course, some exchanges have a "SAFU pile" of coins that basically insures them against hacks, but you'd have to be a looney to believe that there's anything keeping them from closing your account.

Binance is the largest exchange and for more than 7 years I have used the Binance exchange, it is always safe. Even though many people say to be careful about storing assets on Binance, so far my assets are safe. I also always follow new coins released on Binance to buy early to get quick profits, but be careful and do your research before buying.

In 2024, I seldom use cryptocurrency exchanges as I got tired of doing some bounties and I could not give time to new ways of airdrop even the Telegram tap method. However, I do use exchanges sparingly and it was usually Binance until they got some trouble with my country's SEC then I transferred to Bybit and Kucoin, two other exchanges I also trust 100%. I don't worry so much on what can happen with exchanges as I am not using them as my wallet, first and foremost. In case I would have good coins and tokens to exchange, I am also looking to try to experience Bitget. Now, my number criteria is that an exchange, just like Binance, must have its P2P market and there would be participants based here in my country.

Binance in my country is no problem, dude. so I still use binance, kucoin and bybit to trade. because I spend a lot of time there every day. because besides participating in bounties I also focus on trading. because that way I can add crypto assets while waiting for the bullish season.

Well, for me, Binance used to be my top choice, simply because of their p2p exchange for my local currency, followes my OKX, Remitano, kucoin, then before I begin to talk about bybit, biget and the rest.

But ever since the Nigerian government forced Binance to ban Nigerian p2p exchange on Binance, okx closed their doors to Nigerians, kucoin started charging Nigerian users extra 7 percent trading fee as value added tax(VAT), Remitano became so unstable and lack p2p liquidity ever since I don't know.
Right now, my number one go to exchange is bybit for p2p trading, then followed by Binance for spot and futures trading, then followed by Bitget for buying and selling random Altcoins and selling of airdrops.

Well, the truth is that the exchanges you use are very reliable , they are old and have great trust and acceptability from most of the World, it is difficult for them not to want to Accept and restrict the use of Binance in some countries, I think that an economic dictatorship is only worse than what can happen and this really affects things in people, anything that affects people's pockets is bad for me, and more so with this, which is the exchanges, it is not ideal, we are already in a World where the economic tools are there.

Binance become top choose as exchange after allowing P2P transaction but almost global exchange have ready with P2P feature to make all user easily for selling their stable coins assets trough P2P around their local community. But have lowr rate when selling stable coins trough P2P transaction and seems worth it deposit to local exchange because USDT rate based on the market.
Binance become most interested exchange in my country Indonesia than using our local exchange have allow to pay taxes transaction, taken around 0.22% for paying taxes transaction and including 0.2% for exchange fees make our local trader prefer with Binance as exchange for trading.

I am also agree with your comments. Because i believe that Binance is one of the largest crypto exchange in cryptocurrency world. I also believe that Binance is very safe for money transaction. Because we know that if we want to p2p in any crypto exchange, i think Binance is the best and safty exchange in cryptocurrency world. If we follow like OKX, Bitget and Kucoin, i think Binance is the most popular than other exchange.

It is a fact, things are like that with Binance , it is one of the exchanges that have the highest volume, and that is something that favors it a lot, however there are things that I do not like about Binance and the main one is that Binance is very pro-government and is very soft in its policies with them, they support them and are not afraid to leave people's funds frozen when they do investigations, that is something that I do not like, that is why I will always be Defensive about making or having my money in a cold wallet, however when it comes to trading this exchange is good, but as for making the operation and then withdrawing.

That's why if we want to choose an exchange, it's better to choose a top exchange. Not just Binance, but several top exchanges too. I've been using Binance all this time, it's safe. Even if, for example, one day, like in the past, Binance gets into trouble or gets hacked, top exchanges are like their responsibility, to ensure that all of their users' assets are safe and can be used again.

So what about a small exchange that isn't well known? It could be that after being hacked or some other problem, they immediately ran away. And not to mention, for example, if they close, well, that's enough, it can't be taken care of anymore if suddenly the exchange disappears.

You have to be more careful to keep assets too long on the exchange because there is a greater risk, there have been many cases of this exchange hack resulting in user concerns because they cannot withdraw assets because they are suspended. So just be careful.

Some exchanges are good at offering many features that they have including joining the launchpool is beneficial if you participate.

Yes, you are absolutely right about that. Sometimes we need to look for the safest option. Of course, sometimes Binance has some things that I don't like, that don't suit me, but it still gives confidence and some security. But in terms of having money, what I recommend is that you have it in a wallet where you have the public and private keys. It is better to have your money in custody and not in the hands of an exchange Therefore, every time you make a transaction , that is when you use the exchange.

I don't still give priority to exchange like storing my assets over there in their exchange without the need to use a self custodial wallet. keeping and leaving funds in exchange makes its too vulnerable for penetration especially if you don't set some security feature, yet I don't encourage people leaving their fund in exchange as they can ran away at any given time and moment while your funds are automatically Locked over there. Most of the exchange shot down without any announcements to its users.

I agree.
Some funds should be allocated to the exchange, but the main body of your funds, so to speak, should be protected and it's better to be done by yourself, if possible, with the methods that you mentioned.

The safest exchanges are those where we can be completely sure that they will not steal from us. I remember that back in 2017-2018, which was when the bitcoin boom began, it was something that was on an exchange called bitfinex, the movements there were impressive, in fact those who did the shrots all did them from there, now the safest exchange to date and the one that everyone trusts is Binance, of course because of its legitimacy and authenticity, but it does certain things that I don't like about Binance, like kneeling before governments, that's what I don't like.
