If I understand this correctly, the government is trying to prepare a regulation to make sure the number of failures will be as low as possible. Doesn't seems like they will blame crypto this time. The major reason seems to be the inability to repay loans for real estate, which sounds a bit similar to the problem that happens in other countries albeit with different reasons. Will they bail out some big players in the future, or will they let them die because of the free market principle (CMIIW)?

You can expect the federal government of USA to bail big banks in case there will be no ready buyers for them. Now, what happened is that many depositors are transferring their business to big banks as they feel uneasy with smaller banks in case the government will not do anything on their behalf in order to survive well. Last year was a nightmare for the Biden administration as it feared a repeat of 2008 that resulted into big financial bloodbath that spread into other countries as well. However, the same problems and weaknesses are still prevalent in the banking sector and one day the dam will be broken and an avalanche that can't be stopped will materialize unless something concrete are programmed to cure the wound. And this can happen if the American people will give Biden another chance come November.

I got a flash news that the US dollar is declining but I can't recall the news blog again and since I am not using the dollar to buy things, there is no much information on that and if the use dollar depreciate then cost of living will also reduce because the US dollar control prices of goods and services in many countries. And mostly in Africa countries...

Biden is out.
The Fed refuses to cut rates
and we stagger along.
This is in all the markets.

No real crashing no real mooning.

Trump can’t figure out a good set of insults against Harris he is slowing sliding in the pools.

I simply think people are waiting to see the mess that comes out of the USA elections.

we will have clarity in the fall.

hoping it is up and not down.

oh I stacked btc more today.

oh I stacked btc more today.
The best thing you did. Bitcoin fell to very cheap values today and accumulating some of it below $60k is the best decision anyone can make.

It's a bad news to see that banks at US have risk of failure. I'm not sure which of the banks will fail like Silvergate, but surely the ones having accounts at those banks might lose their life savings at those banks.

That's why I believe saving your retirement money as Bitcoin is better than going with the traditional route of banking.

This world revolves around opportunities, and not to look like am the villain here...but don't you think if this was to happen there would be so much panic that the beneficiaries would be assets like Bitcoin and other altcoins ::) I know it sounds bad but I think such need to happen for people to start investing in crypto whichever way they can, be it DCA and anything.

Their existence does not make much difference in the economy or crypto networks, if they cant stand well, then they should go in and converts all their assets to bitcoin, because whether they are existing or not, bitcoin remains unstoppable and so is its adoption, the people are not happy about the way of how banks are being regulated to handles their finances, so it will be a good news hearing they are closing.

That is, if those are wise investors, they can simply withdraw their money and then put in it crypto as a hedge because banks are at a failure right now. And with their assets now in crypto, maybe they don't have to worry about recession or inflation as we all know that crypto prices are going up as we are in the bull run so it's a win win situation for this investors. However, for those who are still unsure, maybe they will get out their money but invest on something like stocks or gold or oil. However, we all know that crypto is the best asset right now so it doesn't make sense to invest on those commodities. They might diversity though, but if I have a lot of money, majority of my assets will be in crypto.
