Title: Did my wallet get dusked?
Post by: hair on May 07, 2024, 06:30:23 AM
Hi guys
I want to ask, I just Withdrawn BTC to CEX wallet in first time

This is my transaction hash https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/transactions/btc/62d1703f2b9f191a317a36324a23438b419ed233360f32cd02f38a9db17a25a8

so I just sent this wallet https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/addresses/btc/bc1qzx4d9436he7ygdahg69jh98jp444fqj3tdfq24 only $1 (0.00001582 btc)

Suddenly there were 2 wallet transactions
bc1qzx4d9436he7ygdahg69jh98jp444fqj3tdfq24 (first wallet)  I sent my btc to this wallet.

bc1qq5420femlc6cdxz3cawewjxypx98hw4k7pc66d (I don't recognize this wallet) but accepted https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/addresses/btc/bc1qq5420femlc6cdxz3cawewjxypx98hw4k7pc66d $11.12 (0.00017590)

Did my wallet get dusked?
how to solve it?

Previously, I wanted to send a small amount I got a notification like this -26: dust code - 400

in the cold wallet the transaction was successful 0.00001582 btc but in blockchain explorer
I have sent 0.00021710 BTC ($13.73)? I don't know is?

How can it be so different? Between Bitcoin Explorer and successful transactions on Safepal?
Is this because it was hacked?

Thank you for your help

From which cold wallet did you withdraw the funds? You used the term safepal. Well, the dust error must be shown because the amount you were trying to withdraw is considered a dust amount according to the wallet's policy you have used. That's why you were shown that code. And speaking of 1 input and 2 output, that's a little unique for me as well, like if you withdraw funds from a cexs then it's common as they send funds in batches.

AFAIK these cold wallets aren't supposed to send funds in batches.

The normal way to solve these kind of dust problems is to just end the dust somewhere else and burn it without spending any of your other inputs. I mean it's dust, right? You won't need it for anything.
