Title: Should I Hold My FUD?
Post by: BitHunter on May 14, 2024, 07:44:04 PM
Hey guys, I need your opinion on this token I was keeping an eye on since last year. In December, I participated in FUD airdrop and although my hopes weren't particularly high at that point, I racked up some FUDs...

Fast forward to a few days ago, there were news of listing on CEXs and it got me thinking if I should hold what I got and add more, or hit the sell button?

Since the fud token was airdropped to you in your wallet, I wouldn't advise you to buy more or hit the sell button because none of us can tell what the future of the fud token will be during this bull run.

I like the fact that you're not placing much of your hopes on the said coin because its price value is around 0.000000 3213 currently(very low). I wonder how long it will take for a zero to be removed from its price. that depends on their marketing strategy to attract investors to invest with them.

Nah, just sell it and take your free money.
Can I ask how much in USD are the FUD tokens that you are holding right now OP?

Not familiar with the project and looked at Coingecko and there are many coins that has "FUD" ticker symbol in it. Can you please share the link of the FUD token that you're holding? Nevertheless, if you saw that it got listed on an exchange (especially a CEX), just sell it immediately, and buy better tokens. You got it for free, right? You have nothing to lose because you invested nothing (except for your time maybe).

Just take profit. Sell some FUD after the exchange listing and wait to see what happens. There is high tendency that's it's gonna drop after a pump for the listing. You can buy more during when it dip. What exchange is that?

In case of few terms I sold my coins immediately after getting its from AirDrop and also rewards and payment.  And the coin you mentioned in your post is the first I've heard of it, and if it's memecoin, it would be foolish to invest or hold it. And if you are holding then I would say hold very small amount, because if there is a lottery in future. So my suggestion is to yo just immediate sell these kind of tokems coins and have enjoy the profits.

       -    If you received it from airdrops, maybe it's better to sell it immediately and not hold it for a long time because usually what happens to coins that just started with airdrops also loses value in the end. So, the better way for you to do it is that as long as you have a chance to sell it, no matter how fine, sell it.

And after you sell, you can buy potential cryptos that can give you a nice profit in the near future, a better strategy than holding on to FUD where there is no certainty that the price will increase as expected.

Enjoy free money and sell all tokens now. Since you didn't share the exact information of the token, I can't comment directly. But personally i don't want to hold tokens from airdrops because it might be a gift for you. But you can research, if you want to hold then you can 50% even if the future performance of the token is good. But there are better tokens in the market so sell it and buy the best tokens. Since it's free money so you don't have to worry about losses.

If the fud token airdropped to you is a reasonable amount in USD from $10 + you can sell it,   but if it is less, you can risky it by hodling it. Who knows whether the small amount will generate profits for you in the long run since everyone is anticipating the bull run. You can be lucky that the fud token removes a zero or two zeroes from its price during the bull run

Yes, I also can't comment much on this, because I didn't get clear information about the coin that Op was referring to. However, when we get free money and a decent amount, we can sell it and enjoy the results.

However, if we think it's not much, we can hold it in the hope that the price will rise again, after all, we got it for free too. With the risk that the money we can enjoy if we sell it now will be lost if we hold it.
