I saw admin added nice pizza symbol in AltcoinsTalks logo for Bitcoin Pizza day celebration, but I was thinking if people are interested in starting competition in making DIY pizzas, similar like members are doing in Bitcointalk forum?
This can bring more forum activity and we could do similar competitions for other events, not only for making pizzas.

that would be nice , actually. It will also give some users the opportunity to win some awesome prizes, Bringing such idea is nice though. But let's hear what the others will say like the president and the admin.

I was surprised by the lack of activity about the pizza day. This is the first thread am seeing today commemorating the Bitcoin pizza day.
Yeah competitions would be nice and the reward doesn't have to be huge.
The beauty and fun in participating is enough. Admin did something like this during Xmas and I really enjoyed the competition expected more but never saw any again.
Well anybody can commence the competition though. It would be fun seeing a competition that requires skill or knowledge and not just chance.
Money doesn't have to be the only reward a badge or even karma would do.

Starting a contest with respect to bitcoin pizza day is not a bad idea. I also applaud the admin for being a bitcoiner even if his forum is about altcoins. I observed that during halving, admin also did display the bitcoin logo such as he did here.
If you check BTT, most of not all of the contests there were not started by admin. It is project owners and individuals who start it and eventually gets the support of the admin. It is because campaigns have reduced here and such projects are not much here, that's why such contests are lacking and solely depends on admin to happen.

I think that will be a good idea, I also thought that it would be good to organize a contest on altcointalk as well because all the project & forums related to cryptocurrencies hold with this bitcoin pizza day as a special and this can be done through our contest on altcointalk. But for that we need to have sponsor I think the campaign manager can help though to arrange a contest like this.

Maybe this could happen next year in AltcoinsTalks if we make some plans earlier.
I think everyone is now busy making pizzas in bitcointalk because rewards are very good for best pizza designs.
But for that we need to have sponsor I think the campaign manager can help though to arrange a contest like this.
First year we started doing this in bitcointalk there was no big sponsors and it was all done in discord.
I don't know if there are any big days like this for other altcoins, but this would be a fun way to increase activity.

This would require, above all, good sponsors. The contest on Bitcointalk is more interesting because, in addition to valuable prizes, many users have an excellent opportunity for merit hunting.
That's why we have some very interesting creations, which, apart from ketchup, have nothing in common with pizza. But there should be some merit at least for the effort.

Instead of merits members here could earn karma in AltcoinsTalks forum 8) and admin can spread some love with sharinf alt tokens and unlocking some functionalities in forum.
I am sure people would be interested to join here and some sponsors would appear sooner or later.
Maybe we should have Pancake competition instead :D

It's a great idea, we should really start those competitions here as well, but I think its kind of late right now, we should prepare for it before the date, and admin should announce it before the pizza day, we should also start other competitions as well, like pie baking, Halloween which was not celebrated on BTT this year. I was waiting for a competition thread as I was looking for a pumpkin but later I realized that it did not celebrated this time.
It would be a great activity, but I doubt if many members would participate in it, we should make a team first, to gather some funds, so that they could be rewarded without any biased decisions, I think the admin should raise funds, members will definitely give funds, they won't have to be much, as if money will be the reward, then more member will participate.

Al list you made a post about Bitcoin Pizza day. Many many thanks to you brother. Altcoinatalk is big Forum now a days. Huge people already engaged here and regularly some users are involving in this Forum. I though here will be organised a contest or a event for Bitcoin Pizza day. But not seeing that kinds of event.
I think in future Bitcoin Pizza day celebration will be happen in Altcoinstalks. We saw Bitcointalks celebrate Bitcoin Pizza day. I believe next year Bitcoin Pizza day celebration will happen in Altccoinstalks also.

I wonder if other altcoins have their own holidays. If there are, it feels pretty weird that I don't see them anywhere, given that this is an altcoins forum.
However, I'm sure that Bitcoin Pizza day is probably the most famous and well-known holiday in all of cryptocurrency, so it would also be a bit weird if the admin had not put a banner about it here.

I never heard about any similar events, but maybe they celebrate Vitalik Butherin birthday as ethereum day ;)
Monero users should probably celebrate Data Privacy Day aka Data Protection Day.
Voting for best pizzas just started on bitcointalk forum and it will be available until 24 June, so you can go there and vote for your favorite pizzas now:

There's been a lot of fun pizza celebrations, so we should celebrate like them on this Altcoin Talk forum. But it will be very happy as all users will be busy celebrating this celebration.
