Title: RIP Kabosu: The dog that inspired DOGE and Shiba Inu

I'm browsing to my Facebook just a few minutes ago, and this is what I will see.

Popular dog Kabosu, the face of dogecoin and several other meme tokens, died early Friday, his owner wrote in a blog post. He was over 17 years old.
“We will be holding a farewell party for Kabo-chan on Sunday, May 26th . It will be held at Flower Kaori in Kotsu no Mori, Narita City, from 1pm to 4pm,” the blog reads.
I'm not holding any DOGE or any meme coin, but I felt sad for this news just because I'm a dog lover. Hats off to the main faces of the first and most popular meme coin which is DOGE. Without Kabosu, dog-related meme coins will not exist at all.

Last year it was Cheems and now this Kabosu.
I'm a pet lover too, especially in dogs which it's sad to know when they passed away.

Do you think this will have an impact on the DOGEcoin price?  I'm not a memecoins lover, but I think those with a Dogecoin might try to watch the market price.

This dog brought many surprises in the world of cryptocurrency and many people like him. Hopefully there are no other logos attached to Dogecoin and Kabosu remains the icon of Dogecoin and other meme coins.

As long as DOGE remains on top, Kabosu will be remembered for sure.

As for the DOGE's price, it has been at least 4 days since Kabosu's passing, but it didn't have any effect towards the price of DOGE. With this, I might buy some DOGE when the bear market comes just to show support for the coin and joining the community as well. I don't want to invest in meme coins in general, but DOGE is an exception on it. :)

I'm holding Dogecoin although it is not a big number.
Sure, it is sad to know Kabosu has gone to heaven. We will always remember Kabosu because of its role in meme coins. Yep, it is the inspiration of meme coins, specifically for Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. However, I think we will have another Kabosu, a new iconic dog for meme coins.

Do you think this will have an impact on the DOGEcoin price?  I'm not a memecoins lover, but I think those with a Dogecoin might try to watch the market price.
I didn't see a significant impact on the price of Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. It also didn't influence the price movement of the whole meme coins. I think without Kabosu, meme coins will continue its existence. People may be mature enough to know about the meme coins, so they don't panic when Kabosu has gone.

Clearly, the DOGE price does not depend on the existence of Kabosu because DOGE was just a memecoin with a fun purpose when it was introduced. Even Kabosu's passing has helped DOGE to be mentioned more in the past time, reaching more potential investors and helping DOGE price to increase more strongly in the bullrun if Kabosu's fans want to own DOGE as a beautiful memory of Kabosu.

I still have expectations that DOGE can create ATH in this bullrun and continue to help Kabosu's cute image to be mentioned in each cycle and exist forever with the crypto market!

Exactly. I don't even understand which way would that affect the price, if any. Some could take it as a bad sign and start selling, some could start buying to honour the memory of the cute dog, or just simply due to increased publicity.
And as they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity.

I think it's just FUD that is being used by certain groups of people to make the price of Dogecoin collapse, so that in this way they have the opportunity to buy Dogecoin at a cheap price by taking advantage of panicking Dogecoin holders. Dogecoin was created without an important project, in fact Kabosu is only a logo and does not have a very important meaning for Dogecoin price movements.

I thought this will bring more effect to Doge and Shiiba Inu but i see nothing , believing that this will attract another set of supporters after
what had happened to Kabosu .

RIP Doge Dog , run free in Paradise .

Yeah, Dogecoin has moved beyond the narrative dependency like many new memecoins in the market, Dogecoin has a large community, widespread acceptance and is supported by Elon Musk. Kabosu's passing cannot cause Dogecoin to collapse, simply because Dogecoin's existence does not depend on Kabosu's health. I believe we know Kabosu because we love Dogecoin, not the other way around, I myself knew DOGE in the crypto market before learning about the origin of this famous meme.

DOGE price has broken above the Weekly EMA34 (Sonic R), I believe DOGE has escaped the bottom and is just re-accumulating to continue to recover and lead the memecoin trend as soon as BTC price increases and creates a new ATH.

Kabosu is important for Doge and all meme coins, but it is not the only factor to determine the Dogecoin and all meme coin future. So, when Kabosu has gone, Dogecoin and all meme coins will never stop. As long as Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and other meme coins are supported by the community, we can assume there will be no significant impacts. I even think that the dead of Kabosu may be the new chapter of a new era of meme coins.

I still have expectations that DOGE can create ATH in this bullrun and continue to help Kabosu's cute image to be mentioned in each cycle and exist forever with the crypto market!
I also expect for the new ATH on Dogecoin. However, I have no idea about the possibility of the peak of Dogecoin. I just expect it may reach $1 in the next altcoin season.

While I regret Kabosu's passing, from an investment standpoint, this event has also helped to bring more attention to DOGE and set the stage for the memecoin trend to explode in the future. DOGE could very well be the crypto version of Kabosu, and Kabosu will continue to exist until the end of the Dogecoin chain or many other memecoins based on the idea of Kabosu.

I also don't invest in DOGE because I like Kabosu, but because I believe DOGE has real value. I still look forward to the possibility of DOGE reaching 1 USD as many investors have been expecting since 2021.

It's like when Gol D. Roger died in the One Piece anime? The beginning of a new era. If you're watching the anime, you know what I'm trying to say. :D

Anyway, like what others think, I don't think that the death of the main dog behind the DOGE logo would affect the project negatively because at the end of the day, the success of a meme coin depends heavily on the community behind it. The larger the community, the lesser the chance for it to fail as well. New chapter of meme coins? We're seeing new meme coins being created on different blockchains on a weekly basis.

I still have expectations that DOGE can create ATH in this bullrun and continue to help Kabosu's cute image to be mentioned in each cycle and exist forever with the crypto market!

It's ATH based on Coingecko is at around $0.73, and it's current price is at around $0.13. Despite it's unlimited supply, I also think that it will surpass that ATH when the bull run comes. DOGE to a dollar? It's possible, but not sustainable obviously, and it will only happens when we enter the bull run season. :D

Agree. The dead of Kabosu may attract more people, they will be more aware of Dogecoin and meme coins as a whole. Sure, Dogecoin is the best meme coin now, it represents the symbol of Kabosu. People who love Kabosu, they may be interested to buy more Dogecoin. However, as a real investor, I prefer to analyze everything from the investor's point of view. I will never buy more Dogecoin if I don't think it has no good potential in the future.

You have done the right way in investment. We must invest in a crypto coin because we know the coin probably increases high in the future. We don't invest in a crypto coin because we only like the coin, the logo, or the team. There should be strong reasons for investment, kindly avoid investing in a careless way.

It's like when Gol D. Roger died in the One Piece anime? The beginning of a new era. If you're watching the anime, you know what I'm trying to say. :D
I know it very well, I'm also one piece lover.  ;D
Well, this can be the beginning of meme coin era. We will see if meme coins will be stronger or to be disappeared. By the way, we lost Elon Musk! He is a big actor in meme world.

It's ATH based on Coingecko is at around $0.73, and it's current price is at around $0.13. Despite it's unlimited supply, I also think that it will surpass that ATH when the bull run comes. Personally, I am not so sure if there will be a new ATH on Dogecoin. But it is possible to reach $1 if there is something to trigger it, specifically in altcoins season. But to reach $10 or $100, it is totally impossible. I don't understand there are people who predicted those unrealistic prices.
