Title: Have you been profiting from memecoins?
Post by: Verica crypto on May 26, 2024, 12:32:23 AM
So this isn't just a new topic but nowadays I see that on twitter, and discord, people have been profiting from memecoins, especially on solana and some other chains.

BONK, WIF, and MYRO are prime examples of highly traded memecoins that have generated profits for investors. What's interesting is the pattern, when a new memecoin launches or builds hype, it tends to trend across X, telegram and often gets listed on major exchanges.

I recently observed this with the $FUD memecoin on the SUI network. It surged over 70% upon listing on Bitget and MEXC. Their community was actively promoting it, so I took advantage of a dip and bought some $FUD. I don't typically hold memecoins long-term, so I set a price target and monitor its performance.

I think the main game starts once you understand the strategy and plan. If you really want to make some profit with meme coins, find them on Coingecko and research. Now I'm not advising you all to do the same as me but I'm just sharing what I do when investing in meme coins.

Still not an assured thing if you do ask me, because on the moment that those coins reaches out Coingecko or CMC then those MC's are already high or lets say it did touch up 10-50x already on the price and thats why these reference sites would really be listing out those coins due to hype and also it do able to reach up that criteria for a project to be listed.
When we do speak about meme coins then everything could really be that possible specially if its a community driven kind of thing on which we know that hype
could drive even a shit coin into the moon on which those good utility coins cant be able to do so. The only issue with these memes that on the  time that hype was gone
then expect that it would kiss into the floor. There are ones who do sustain but most of them dies and wither away.

For the past few months, I have not been impressed with the price fluctuations of any new memecoin in the market. I am only interested in a few top memecoins such as DOGE, SHIB, FLOKI, PEPE, BONK. Memecoins are no longer the big story in the crypto market. Investors have seen both the potential and the risks of memecoins, and they are participating with a more fun attitude instead of going all-in and looking for a chance to change their lives overnight.

I also made a few dozen $ in profits from memecoins in late 2021, but I do not recommend that anyone should put too much hope in memecoins. Traders have a more appropriate attitude: they treat memecoins like any other token to trade with Take profit and Stop-loss, they trade based on what they see, not what they expect.

Yep, I have but that's because Ive kept a diverse portfolio. SHIB has helped with the profit in the past, but I had the relief that if things go sideways I always have my other assets to offset my losses. I don't think investing solely in meme coins is the way to go.

The most recent one that I have profited from is in $DEGEN. I was able to make money when I bought it. It's really fun but risky to invest in meme coins because of their volatility and background. It's not always going to be a profit but it's worth it IF you manage to do it.

Well, if you manage to get an early advantage with a meme coin, perhaps you can profit again. What I'm seeing is like APU and MUBI
