Follow up xelis looks to be a bust. AS you can see zero interest here and the coin was up to 34 usd it is now only about 6 usd

By Xelis, do you mean https://xelis.io/ (https://xelis.io/)? Trend of privacy or DAG-based (opposed to blockchain-based) coin are long over, so it's hard to imagine this coin can make GPU mining popular again. And assuming https://whattomine.com/coins/419-xel-xelishashv2/gpus (https://whattomine.com/coins/419-xel-xelishashv2/gpus) show accurate data, the ROI will take forever even with cheap electricity price.

So crashed 85%? That was one fast bubble that popped.

I think that GPU mining is done for, the moment ETH switched to PoS a lot saw this as an easier way for the launching team to control more the coins they develop, by having total control over the supply issuance, the staking, so on, and the only minable coins that come by are ones with a ton of pre-mined coins that will be dump immediately.

yeah kind of agree I have been selling all my gpus on ebay. Still have a lot of rtx 3090's to sell.

I sold 28 rtx a4000 cards
I sold 11 rtx a4500 cards
I sold  8 rtx a5000 cards

I have over 16 rtx 3090's to sell

Well, so you’re giving up on GPU mining? Would you like to use your mining system for other purposes such as AI training and mining other POW tokens - ETC & ETHW? I think they could provide alternative income sources for ETH miners now that Ethereum has switched to POS.

Additionally, I’m also curious about why you chose to mine Xelis. The XEL token isn’t really well-known in the crypto community, and the price has been steadily declining.

We are here after a year; I assume Xelis mining is already dead. Were you able to make some profits from Xelis mining?
I was about to DM you to ask something about mining, but allow me to ask here.

Do you know something that can be mined through GPUs today and is profitable at this moment? Or maybe some new type of mining gear except for ASICs. I have watched Son of a Tech for a while, and I guess there was hype for different types of mining, like Network mining, HDD mining and many more. Do you know anything new?
