Quote
Former POTUS and current leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took to Silicon Valley in his latest campaign financing efforts.

Trump raised $12 million from a Thursday night fundraiser held at the San Francisco house of David Sacks, a tech entrepreneur and investor. Social Capital CEO Chamath Palihapitiya cohosted the event.

Trump's appearance gears up his embrace of crypto in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election. Prominent crypto leaders such as Gemini founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss also attended the fundraiser, according to Reuters.

Tools for Humanity Chief Business Officer Trevor Traina, who previously served as a Trump ambassador to Austria, told Reuters that Trump "said he would be the crypto president" at the fundraiser. Jacob Helberg, adviser to Palantir Technologies, told the publication Trump "made clear that the Biden-Gensler crusade against crypto will grind to a halt within one hour of a second Trump administration."

Slowly before the hush money trial for Trump and then abruptly after his felony conviction for 34 counts, DJT is getting left and right support not only as shown in polls but also with the avalanche of millions he is getting coming not from small and ordinary donors and also from leaders of different industries - including the cryptocurrency industry, of course. . Right now, I think it would be safe to say that Trump is getting the nod of the cryptocurrency industry in USA as Biden seems to be asleep on this aspect and the current president is seen as not friendly to crypto with his many actions especially with the latest veto he made with the resolution coming from the House and the Senate repealing SEC...which angered many cryptocurrency supporters.  (https://qz.com/joe-biden-cryptocurrency-bill-resolution-veto-election-1851517720) Are you looking forward to a golden era of cryptocurrency under Donald J. Trump as the crypto president that will stop the Biden-Gensler onslaught on our industry?

Golden era? Not even close!
Trump will say and will do anything for votes, the moment he will (if) be president he will forget everything, as anyhow there is no continuity, he can't be president again so he will not face voters again and he won't care about anything anymore.
He has been president for 4 years, what did he do with all his promises? Drain the swamp, yeah right!

When I think that for months we will have to listen to how Trump is the biggest friend of cryptocurrencies in the world, I am not happy about it at all, because even if he succeeds in becoming president, many people might be disappointed when they realize that things will not change too much when it comes to cryptocurrencies.

Mentioning the evil duo Biden - Gensler without mentioning the evil duo Trump - Mnuchin is a bit hypocritical - because what positively happened while they were in power, did they maybe approve spot ETFs? I have already posted some interesting documents from their era that have appeared online, they are far from the saints they want to present themselves as.
