My observations of the crypto space from the past few years in relation to the various integrations made within Cryptocurrencies exposes the fact that crypto isn't simply here to stay but able to dominate various areas of the digital life and steadily unveiling more possibilities.
Initially, cryptocurrency was paired against fiat where investors pride for owning but we seem to have moved past just that into aspects like gaming where cryptocurrency is integrated into video games and players can buy digital gems, ammunition or rewards while playing. And crypto has reshaped the reasons and the way players interact with games.
In the world of Crypto gaming, I consider some successful projects like Decentraland, The Sandbox, Axie Infinity, Illuvium and one I recently came across called BloodLoop Shard, having made what I can call an impressive launch of the in-game token BLS.
If you're a gamer or crypto investor enthusiastic about Play2Earn crypto, I'd be glad to read what interests you about crypto gaming projects and some of the highest earning crypto games in your watchlist.

- The ones that I see that are relatively good to play in the crypto space are the Gala games, illuvium, Pixel, and Sandbox. Those are still relatively high in trading volume and marketcap at the moment, based on what I have seen and researched so far.
And the graphics I like the most out of those are the illuvium, although the per token is expensive. If you want to hold on to those, I think it's better to hold the Gala and Sand tokens, in my opinion.

It's a shame that I don't have enough time to experience and earn income from GameFi. I've tried playing a few games but I can't be patient enough to improve my skills, I'm not a serious gamer ^^
I believe in the GameFi trend, but instead of directly participating in Play-to-Earn, I think I will invest in the tokens of leading GameFi platforms such as RON, IMX, PIXEL... to profit from their price increase!

Axie? https://activeplayer.io/axie-infinity/
Pay to get some jpg to work daily for pennies as they lie to you you play to earn model is gone!
It has turned into a ponzi schemes where the fist guys get the best deals, then they try to sell to newbies that come to those items/characters, etc at an inflated price while boobs are left with nobody to dump on!

I think there is no game that promises all lies, only at the beginning it's interesting to play as long as it's not too late to follow it, the rest is just fomo and deceiving beginners who imagine playing games to earn money

This is basically how MLM schemes work, the first ones get cheap characters, land, things whatever, and since they're the first they can sell to newcomers that stuff that they can already produce, the second wave is desperate to also make money so they will pay anything thinking it's not too late, then you have 1 million players trying to sell stuff to just one hundred, crashing the prices and making it worse than actual work.

As I read that Decentraland is considered by someone a successful project, it breaks my heart a bit. A game, where the activities are scarce, online is almost at zero, and buying land for these same activities is not worth it for the players (not investors), because it's so roughly put together - is a shame. The idea behind it and the Metaverse itself is not that bad, however, there are so many thing to improve upon..

Wow, the marketplace there is indeed a ghost town, (if I got the domain right):
https://decentraland.org/marketplace/#recently-sold-wearable
Like 10 wearables sold a day and one two pieces of land per day?
And they look even worse than what Zuckerberg showed for meta and made laughing stock out of it!
I'm really curious, what is right now the most populated metaverse wanna be game?

Decentraland may have been a very popular project in the Metaverse trend during the bullrun 2021 with the strong price increase of the MANA token, but I never knew that gamers in Decentraland's game could generate attractive profits. I have also watched a few videos about Decentraland's Metaverse, and they are of quite poor quality and difficult to experience in an easy and seamless way.
Currently, there is no game that is truly attractive to players in terms of both content and earning potential because we are not yet in a bullrun. I think we should wait for the appearance of more games with better quality in the coming months.

I haven't played any of games you mentioned but I have played couple on Hive blockchain, namely dCity and dCrops.
I played dCity since it's inception, sold it's inventory year or so ago for 2x profit, and have recently got back into again, although I am not actively playing it anymore. The other was dCrops, played it sometime, and sold the inventory soon after for some profit because I wanted liquid Hive.

- Right now, as far as I know, Iluvium and Sandbox are still crypto games that are quite popular among gamers, if I'm not mistaken, although I'm not sure. And this kind of game is really popular among gamers.
Whether it's the play to earn under Gala or Decentraland, these are the games that I read, hear, and even watch on YouTube, although sometimes I feel like I'm tempted to try but I don't start.
-
The problem with those games is that they required money to start earn money, wich has changed a bit.
Currently games at Ton ecossystem are making the moment, the fact you able to earn some brand new coins, expecting the listing at exchanges at some point, is what is driven the market, the dream of get rich hasnt gone at all.
Now imagine you being able to achieve that status playing games, investing only your time, sounds surreal for sure, but might happen.
The problem of games still around the huge boosts they do give to Money invested, isnt about skills... i would guess thats one of the issues, the money corrupts all the ecosystem, but without it projects just die... soo isnt easy to choose the best way to follow.

Once out of pure curiosity went through twenty minutes of gameplay walkthrough of iluvium, you basically run around in a cheap setting to find stuff, you have an arena that is basically 2005 TBS games and if you actually want to build or earn something, you need to either grind that shit for hundred of ours or pay money for it, ironically.
It's just like one of those games that come free but in order to get something useful you either have to really work like a full day working schedule for it or out of frustration to finally have what others do open your wallet and "contribute"

IMO it's fine when games allows you to get premium stuff by grinding for it, and those who want it easily can do so by paying money.

It's like a battle pass of sorts ;D Nothing wrong with that, in my opinion, too.

Or rather, it's majority of games these days (especially for mobile games). People could lose control and spend ridiculous amount of money on such games. But at least iluvium seems to put more effort and budget compared with many play to earn games i've seen.

So from play to earn right down to pay to win?
Quite the radical change for a game we have here.

Yeah, put some effort, I agree that is way better than the tap games and the 2000 era like battle games but still to be something revolutionary it's a damn long way to go, plus I will never agree with the idea that in a game which claims to have a healthy economy that rewards players you have the same and even more exaggerated inequality like in the real world where large capital can make your work worth pennies.

Unless grind requires unreasonably long time it's not p2w.
