Title: Prom Zealy Campaign to Get a DAO Validator Role
Post by: Dyakoff on June 11, 2024, 11:42:51 AM
After my earlier post about the Prom Delegate testnet campaign, I would kindly ask to follow up with a second active campaign currently running on Prom Network.
It is called a Validator Campaign and it takes place on Zealy, which is a well known location to crypto enthusiasts.

Like I mentioned earlier,  Prom Network operates as a DAO with 3 major roles: Members, Delegates and Validators.
Validator role will allow you to approve on strategic decision related to governance, shaping the direction of how Prom Network will develop.
There will be way fewer Validators than Delegates and the Validator role is priceless.

This is why the Validator Campaign on Zealy is highly competitive.
It has been running for over 2 months already and the leaders have already amassed over 120 000 pioints.
However we do not know how many people will receive this role.
Even for a newcomer it is quite easy to make it into top 1000, and even top 100 is quite achievable given enough effort and consistency.

The task mostly revolve around posting on Twitter and other social media such as Reddit, Medium and Binance Square.
Most of the tasks ca be easily done from scratch in under 2 hours.

Validators will be entitled to 2% of Network income.
I would expect the revenue from Validator role to be approximately 10 times higher than revenue from Delegate role.
But of course it is merely my personal speculation.
The best part - as the Network grows and has more transactions, the Validators will earn proportionally more money!

Recently, the Zealy campaign of Prom has branched into a Sprint with a number of tasks that have a prize pool of $10k.
But this will be a topic for another post of mine.

As time passes, the competition for top positions in the Prom Validator campaign intensifies daily.
However, it's still possible to join the contest. Although the exact number of validators to be chosen is unknown, many speculate that either the top 100 or top 1000 participants will be selected. As of June 16, 2024, reaching the top 100 requires just 23000 points, which is quite achievable. Certain tasks offer 400 to 600 points each, and these can be repeated daily.

Let's explore some of these tasks. There are many to choose from, so I'll focus on my favorites. I particularly enjoy Tier 4, the most rewarding tier. The challenges here are varied and exciting, and many are quite straightforward. Tiers 2 and 3 also offer substantial points, while Tier 1 provides an easy way to earn quick points.

The standout challenge in Tier 4, and possibly the best overall, is the "Lights, Camera, Action" task. Participants must create a short video relevant to the Prom Network, choosing their topic, presentation style, and video editor. The video must be posted on Twitter (X), not YouTube. Completing this task earns 600 points, which is generous. A week of making videos could catapult you into the top 100, though maintaining your position will require ongoing effort.

Another popular task is the "Harshest Critic," which involves writing Prom reviews on Medium. While your articles don’t need to be Pulitzer-worthy, they still earn 400 points each and provide a sense of accomplishment as your readership grows.

Creating an infographic for the "Tech Analysis" challenge also offers 400 points. I often find that designing a good infographic takes more time than writing a review, but this varies based on individual skills and preferences.

The "Meme Zone" is perhaps the most enjoyable assignment. Making memes and viewing those created by other participants is a lot of fun, and you earn 150 points for a Tier 2 task.

The most rewarding Tier 2 task is "Xpert," which requires posting a Twitter (X) thread. This is a relatively easy challenge, as you can write about any topic related to Prom, provided your thread has at least three posts.

It's important to stay original and avoid copying others' work. Creativity is enjoyable, and moderators meticulously review each entry to ensure originality.

Finally, remember that all Twitter-related tasks must mention specific tags required by the project.
