Brian Morgenstern of Riot Platforms shared his insights on the 2024 election’s impact on bitcoin and the crypto industry, praising former U.S. President Donald Trump’s pro-bitcoin stance and criticizing President Joe Biden’s regulatory measures. Trump promised to protect bitcoin from regulatory threats, oppose a central bank digital currency (CBDC), and support the cryptocurrency industry, aligning with global pro-bitcoin leaders.

In contrast, Morgenstern described the Biden administration as “extraordinarily hostile to bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.” He referenced Biden’s recent veto of a resolution to overturn the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)’s Staff Accounting Bulletin 121 (SAB 121), which imposes stringent cryptocurrency regulations.

Well, I think the whole cryptocurrency industry most especially the people who are in USA already know and acknowledge the big difference between the two leading presidential candidates - the current one and the former.

During the term of DJT from 2020-2024, there had been no Gary Gensler that has the mission to make the whole cryptocurrency industry suffer instead of working out with it to weed out scams and frauds in the name of protecting the consumers and the investors...now SEC is stifling innovations and not working for an acceptable regulatory framework the industry can abide by.

I am sure Trump will not be able to accomplish everything he promised but the point is that even if he will get half of those things, they can be worth rejoicing with. The most important thing is to have a POTUS that is not an enemy of the industry and is willing to listen to the concerns of the industry's players while making sure there is a level playing field for all to enjoy.

That is absolutely correct. As we can see, Biden's admin has been cracking down on:

- mixers
- non-kyc exchanges
- ethereum
- mines
- wallets
- anything that is not being ran by a central US company

It's really hard to support Biden right now, but you'll have to do so anyway, while holding your nose, since White House policies under Trump will essentially be "an auction for the highest bidder".

And it's worth to mention his controvesial 2025 project where some of the point reduce people's right. That should make people question whether Trump really acknowledges right to Self-Sovereignty (which stated on the news).

Even ignoring project 2025 (which a normal person should not be doing), the fact that Trump's past policy towards crypto has been dodgy at best should make all these crypto companies question whether they should really be funneling their money to Trump.

Yes, it sucks to have two bad choices for president, but you always have to choose the one that does not lie, manipulate, or cheat about policy. Otherwise, you might get caught in the crossfire too.

I already said that Trump is a good marketing man. He knows how to sell himself and how to feel the pulse of the people because he is a businessman. His PR team has done a study, and they targeted the Cryptocurrency community because it is global and they have a huge community in the US.

Since Trump has a strong selling point, Biden should think of a better way to sell himself and find a good cause that is far better than Cryptocurrency, I don't like Trump but if this is for the betterment of Cryptocurrency in that region I will support and encourage the Crypto community in the US to vote for him.

I am seeing that the cryptocurrency community is silently responding to the marketing reach of the Trump team and they know the many bad things that the Biden administration did to the industry and that it has no plan whatsoever that can benefit the industry long-term...when you are the sitting president and you are not friendly today to cryptocurrency I guess it would be easy to conclude that if you get your 2nd term you would be doing the same. As for Trump, in his first term, he had not done something harmful to crypto industry and though at that time he failed to grasp the potential of it to help the USA economy now he is on its side. Soon we can see many well-known crypto figures to be endorsing Trump because they wanted to get rid of the Biden-Kamala administration which is a big joke to the country.
