Donald Trump said he hopes all remaining bitcoins are manufactured in the United States. Quite crazy, is this an attempt to completely consolidate the votes of all crypto enthusiasts? He also said he loves and understands cryptocurrency, adding that bitcoin miners help stabilize energy supply for the grid. Trump stated he will advocate for miners from the White House.

He must understand cryptocurrency as he had run some crypto-based campaigns for his upcoming election selection. And due to these crypto-based campaigns, he has collected a lot of money like in millions. I already read this news somewhere maybe on this forum. My instance on this statement by Trump is it's just a political move to impress crypto enthusiasts and this is not something new.
I am not a US citizen, but if there is any reading it could confirm that whenever in the past Trump made promises did he stick to them or not? If he fulfilled them always then he will also stick to this promise as well otherwise he is just taking advantage of the hype. I hope future will be more wonderful for crypto industry as we need more adoption.

Believe politicians at your own risk because they always have a motive for every action or utterance that they make.
Donald Trump is not different, and he alone will know his motives, but since he is a politician, I remain of the opinion that it is to gather vote.

Again, it's election time, so what you do expect from him? He wanted to get all the votes, from any race, color or religion from the US. And with the popularity of Bitcoin right now, he needs to be also getting the nod from crypto enthusiast with this kind of statements.
He has been in the White house though, and didn't do that much in terms of being friendly to Bitcoin. So for me, this will not change a bit, if he win, I don't see that US enjoying more privilege as crypto enthusiast as this time.

I think the big point we should look is this: Between Donald Trump and Joe Biden who we think can better be serving positively the cryptocurrency industry. Promises will not be fulfilled 100% for sure but what is important with Donald Trump is he is so willing to listen to any industry including cryptocurrency. While the Biden administration has had proven to be an enemy of the industry since Day One the dementia guy took office. The SEC is waging a big war against the industry and it will not stop doing so until a new White House occupant will be inaguarat4ed in January 20, 2025. And I think this is the main reason why there are now big and well-known industry leaders slowly gravitating towards Trump.

Not crazy at all, considering that reportedly 40% of adult Americans are now invested in cryptocurrencies. Will they all vote for Trump? Of course not, but if large enough portion of the undecided crypto-enthusiast gets convinced to vote for him - that could turn out to be a deciding factor.

We have had a lot of dicussions recently about Trump, Biden and BTC, however, the sane thing to do is to ignore whatever politicians say when they are campaigning for an election, it is a trap. BTC isn't politics and it really does not need politicians, though their policies affects its price movements.
Trump has had a lot of conflicting stands on BTC and crypto, and i believe he does not even fully understand the industry, so don't take him seriously.

Bitcoin doesn't need Trump while Trump needs Bitcoin to increase his popularity. Kind of unethical for me, but THEY'RE POLITICIANS so what's new? :D
I'm not a US citizen, but I really don't want the way Trump is campaigning himself. He's using Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to his advantage because he knows that Biden never supported the cryptocurrency, but did the opposite of it. At the end of the day, Bitcoin doesn't need either Trump, Biden or whoever politicians they are because it will still exist although seeing a president of a country supporting Bitcoin is a plus like what we are seeing with President Bukele.
Trump is a businessman, and I don't think that he really will support cryptocurrency once he wins. If he sees that crypto will affect him negatively, he will just tell negative things to it. I mean he did it when he was the president of the US a few years ago.

I'm not familiar with how US politics work, but does a new president mean a new SEC chairman/whatever the leader position is? I thought who the president is doesn't matter since the selection doesn't depend on them. Which key leader are you referring to here? Are they really that influential on the crypto industry? I'm not sure what Trump gets behind the scenes but there's a high chance he's going to throw his promise away just like any other politician. Hard to figure out who to choose unless they're being transparent on what kind support they will do for crypto in the future. CMIIW.

At this time, Trump should realized that we are not after any move or attempts he is going to further make and tell us about unrealistic features just to accomplish his political ambition, we are quite alright aware of his support for bitcoin and not until he truly emerge a winner and won the presidential race, then adopt for bitcoin and make everyone realized the reason why they have to make use of a decentralized digital currency like bitcoin.
-

Yeah, but don't expect any president in a first world country to support BTC like Bukele is doing, that isn't going to happen if we are realistic. What politicians say in their campaign is most times different from what they do when elected, none of the candidates is pro BTC, so it is better to ignore whatever they are saying now.
-
I hope that Trump truly means what he says and that there are no hidden intentions that we do not know or that his statements are merely election propaganda. Trump’s statements can have both negative and positive sides.
If he wants to support the industry, this is very good, but if he wants to monopolize the mining of the remaining Bitcoin coins so that mining becomes entirely American, then this is very bad for the industry and decentralization. It could lead to the US government taking control of mining pools and transactions.
Personally, I want to be optimistic and for Trump to be supportive of the industry and not have hidden goals that harm the industry and decentralization.
-
At the end of the day, Bitcoin doesn't need either Trump, Biden or whoever politicians they are because it will still exist although seeing a president of a country supporting Bitcoin is a plus like what we are seeing with President Bukele.
If governments decide to narrow the windows on Bitcoin, the price will inevitably be negatively affected and decentralization will be harmed. In the end, those who own Bitcoin are human and inevitably fear prosecution.
Yeah, but don't expect any president in a first world country to support BTC like Bukele is doing, that isn't going to happen if we are realistic.
Not any country, but the United States, which loves very centralization, which helps them impose sanctions and strengthen their foreign policies, so this will be impossible.

Not only the United States, every country likes centralization, they love to print their money as they like and control their central and commercial banks, etc, centralization ia a normal thing for the government. However, i know there are countries that are friendly to BTC, both in their policies and all, but the U.S is the total opposite of that. First world countries would hardly support BTC, they'll not see a need to.

I support your opinion why now when there is an election, he should've voiced his support when he is not yet running for election; it is up to the people of America and Cryptocurrency holders to scrutinize if he is being honest with his stance, politicians are quick to change their stance when elected to the office, this always happens in our country, and it's no different even in the highly democratic country like the US.

Politics is very ticky thing in the world of politics We never know the real plan behind all that, as we know that trump has started a campaign where every crypto user can donate using cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. Now if we focus this point, it has two sides: negative and positive, Positive, as it puts faith in those people who do not believe in it as we may see more adoption in the coming days.
At the same time, negative aspect is that, as i already said, the world of politics is very tricky. Those things that get into it have to face troubles for its coming time, and not any of the crypto lovers want to face any trouble in the coming days as many of them are holding big values. In the coming time, many will strongly oppose to the crypto industry, as we know that there are a lot of crypto haters as well. For the time being, Trump is taking advantage of crypto users and the crypto industry. I hope everything goes well in the coming time.

You are right, he is taking advantage of the trend which is at its peak right now. Crypto is the most trending topic of 2024 due to its halving event and elections I think in November, and he is really a smart guy, who is taking advantage of this trend in his own favor. He also did the same back in time.
When he manipulated the Facebook ads into his own favor to motivate people with different mindsets, means he run a campaign, it was like a game, the game was of shooting, people liking it, the ads of Trump supporting guns usage for teenage (I suppose) and the one don't like the game, are shown the ads Trump not supporting the guns program. This whole story was shared by my professor. Overall, finger are crossed and let's see what will happen. If Trump wins, we might see a big pump in the market as well. So for us as not a US citizen, but to see the pump in the market, we wish he will win what about you.

Why do you think we might have a pump in price if Donald Trump wins the election, are you saying some people are waiting to see Trump back in power before they start buying BTC, that is nonsense. There is no correlation between the elections and BTC or crypto, forget about what people say or what politicians do to score cheap points.

Donald Trump is a politician and he’ll do anything to get the votes needed for him to get into that seat again. If you want to be on the path of this politicians and want to believe in everything they say, you’ll just be disappointed when you found out that they just used that to blackmail you into believing in them and their own agenda. Trump is a not a bitcoin lover, he’s doing it for the votes. He was the same person that said bad things about bitcoin long ago. Now that he wants something, he’s now advocating to be a bitcoin enthusiast. We have seen a lot like them, so don’t fall for their trap and propaganda.

I have these to say;
- I know Trump as someone who takes opportunities serious. So, he knows about bitcoin.
- I know Trump as someone who can use anything at his disposal to outsmart his opponent.
- I know Trump as someone who is on a serious American agenda.
- Then, I also know Trump as someone who will strife to keep to his words.
It's all a win-win situation, hence he has made the utterance, let's wait and see him fulfil it.
-
- Then, I also know Trump as someone who will strife to keep to his words.
How come you know him as such, what has he previously promised and fulfilled, for you to say he is a man who keeps to his words. I am not from the U.S, but what many U.S citizens say about him is anything but honest and truthful, so i am curious how you have come about this.

For the current time, trump is putting lovely hopes in crypto lovers as he is supporting bitcoin and cryptocurrency but the real game will start after he will come into power or he will be elected as president then we can see his real colors for the crypto space, Dear as you already said that he is just taking benefit of the hype of the crypto field and it on hype these days and bull season will begin soon. In short all depends on him how he plays his role in the crypto space after he will come into power. If he keeps supporting as it is as he is supporting now we may see good pumps in the market but in case he is just doing to get elected and not plays his best role as now market can even crash. now what do you think about it?
As we know that politics is very tricky as I already mentioned in my last post, So big people use the trends to gain sympathy from their supporters for what is on peak and under the peak trend. Well, dear many are still against cryptocurrency in America and they want to ban it and put it down because they think it can harm their economy badly as in case the use of crypto gets more adoptable than that of physical currency.

Perhaps that his is own opinion and speculation of Donald Trump when he was the US President. I'm also not a US citizen, but I can't conclude that I have my opinion on him that is different from what he says. So to each his own here, maybe we can debate about all it, but it's obvious that we in the election and as such, candidate will make us promises but after they got elected, they will forget about it and make a U-turn. Trump's camp is very intelligent to used crypto as their selling point because it has been one of the hottest topic and asset in the world and currently the sitting President and his political party have a very hard stance on it. So Trump will have to counter that and become a contrarian so that he can get votes from the US crypto enthusiast.

I don't think the market depends on him, I mean he is not even doing positive work now so the market could go up you are saying the market would be up if he works like he is working now. Currently, he is just talking good about crypto and using it to raise funds for himself but what he can do after being elected is, he can impose lesser taxes, and lesser regulations and make things less centralized although it will affect the crime rate but may proper alternative solution would make people appreciate him more.

I agree with you, I just have a good picture to represent what most of the political leaders try before the election while it seems so obvious at the moment that they are lying.

I know the crypto market does not solely depend on one thing but there is the fact that you will also agree that the market can fluctuate depending on the surrounding news and these news helps the market to bleed down or go up so that I am saying after/once he gets elected as president so he can announces such policies that can be against the crypto market then you also know these can of FUD bleeds the marker fastly.
Well besides this, you may also know today there was a bullet fire attack on the X-president of America Trump and bullet passed by touching his one ear but he is safe but as we are crypto lovers so there was a piece of news I came to know that one person in crypto launched a memecoin today with such relevent name related to this news and on the other hand one person invested $3k in this memecoin and he made $70k out of this haha i mean a very good amount he earned as profit.

And Bitcoin 2024 conference has started, and there are reports that Kamala Harris was even invited but she declared as they are against crypto in the first place and it might hurt her campaign.
As for Trump he will be speaking at the last day of the conference, so expect something big to happen this Saturday as we might see some pump on the prices because of the effect Trump has in Bitcoin and their stance on crypto in general.

What would that silly puppet even do in Bitcoin conference? ::)
Trump also don't know anything about Bitcoin but they are probably teaching him to repeat something and look smart.
I really don't understand why people are so excited about all this puppets coming and creating one big circus show out of this conference.
I guess people didn't learn anything in last few years, but let's take another does of hopium from trump.

Well buddy do you know why Biden nominated Kamala at his place? as I just came to know from a piece of news that Biden has left his part being part of the coming election and nominated Kamala at his place. To be very honest, dear what I think is that Trump is also using Bitcoin community at the current time so that he can get elected easily. He knows the power of big money and their involvement, Many people have also raised a lot of funds for his Bitcoin campaign.
I believe that anything that gets the eye of politics has to face trouble as at the start, these politicians say something and on the day of conclusion, we see an outcome totally opposite to what these politicians use to promise to their nations. Well, buddy what do you think of it? Must share your part of opinion. Many Thanks! :)

I don't know people that will buy BTC because Donald Trump is speaking in a BTC conference, i don't even't want to get into why the organizers of this conference thought it was a good idea for Trump to come speak in a BTC conference.
What is he going to talk about, what does he know about BTC; i don't think he knows anything about BTC, and he is only going there to campaign, so i am worried that campaigning with BTC is becoming a thing.

Before Trump became the president of America, he made some notable statements and these statements he didn't abandon when he became the president. I will have to list some of such statements, you have to determine how he dealt with them;
- Building walls around America. How did he handle the immigration
- His statement of Jerusalem headquarters and how he did it.
- His thoughts about right to possess arms and how he approached it.
These is a pinch of what I meant above.
-

Well, for starters, here are what they want to hear from Trump, Trump Speaks Saturday at the Bitcoin Conference. Here's What Attendees Like 'The Crypto Patriot' Hope He Says. (https://www.coindesk.com/business/2024/07/26/trump-speaks-saturday-at-the-bitcoin-conference-heres-what-attendees-like-the-crypto-patriot-hope-he-says/)
Perhaps majority who are into crypto are obviously expecting Trump to say something big for crypto or Bitcoin in general and it might result to the price going on a big spike this weekend and throughout the end of the month.
So yeah, take it as it is and hope that they are right.
-
Do you guys believe he will deliver on his words of creating a strategic reserve in Bitcoin, or is just a usual pre-election talk to try to get some extra votes from the people invested in crypto (and the number of such in the US is huge)?
His sudden love for Bitcoin is not in line with his past attitude. And we all know that legitimising Bitcoin as a reserve currency is damaging to the position of a Dollar.
-

The U.S is not going to do that, we all know what their government's stance on BTC is, they want to regulate it, attack its privacy and fungility and force people to use only centralized crypto services. I am not falling for Trump's sudden love for BTC, i don't believe it, i see it as nothing but effective campaigning, and BTC should not be used by politicians for that.

The chances of his win are high because Biden has left the battle and left the presidential seat chase in the upcoming elections. This means there is no one fighting Trump right now, all things indicate that he will definitely win. But I don't really care at the moment that who wins, but if he is going to do what he promised (which I don't think other than that he will do good in crypto) then it's a good thing and I do care.
Otherwise, I don't care what he does and what he doesn't, if he fails to complete his promise then crypto will definitely dump so hard and it might be the first news to start the bearish cycle after this bullish cycle.
These are just ways of earning money, these meme coin lovers made such tokens and sell them for a good price, TBH till now I didn't know how these meme coins are making people money, I am not talking about Doge, Shib, or Pepe but like these ones.
