I was wondering what people prefer to use for gambling deposit.
In digital era, using debit or credit cards for deposit seems to be most convenient way to gambling online. Cash most probably is most popular in offline casinos. As to crypto, do people convert fiat to crypto to gamble online, or they would use cards or bank transfer for deposit?
I personally gamble mostly with crypto. Compared with past, I make crypto bets more often, then I would have used fiat to gamble. With fiat I think I have gambled once a quarter a several months, and I have gambled via mobile and made deposit with card. Currently, I probable make a bet or two once a week, and can spend $5-10 weekly on gambling just for fun. With cash I have gambled least times. Probably it was somewhere abroad with "last national currency left before going home".

I use both fiat and crypto but most of the time it's fiat as it is more easier but I also tried crypto once before and I think that was I think with freebitco.in but it's all the same because I still lost my money for being unlucky on every bet I had. But since I am back to crypto again I think crypto is good option for a deposit especially if there is a support for memecoins like Doge or the like as it has way cheaper transactions.

Depends on what available and what platform you are dealing on with.
Fiat casinos = debit/credit
Crypto = Crypto/debit
It would really be just that according into your own preference since not all would really be that liking
about dealing up with fiat casinos now specially on crypto gambling sites existence on which you could really be able to
play anonymously but somehow it wont really be give out assurance that you wont really be complying some KYC later on, as
these platforms are gradually becoming that regulated or centralized.

I prefer using crypto to gamble online because I don't want my bank account to be linked to gambling. I use more of USDT because it is mostly used in all online casinos. I have used bitcoin twice to gamble but due to high transaction fee that occurred back then I stopped using bitcoin. I earn in crypto and I use 2% of my earnings for my gambling budget. I only use fiat in my country and I love online crypto asinos.

I uses both to gamble, in fact there was time making deposit using bank card (Master card) was delaying due to OTP or and mail authorization because so much worse due to network issues I then discovered that same site also allows bank transfer and I started using bank transfer to make deposit. I was conscious of the amount used to gamble so I won't be so much tempted to make random transfer from my account before I turned to start using cryptocurrency to gamble, mostly what I does is to deposit the amount I wished that I could used to gamble for the day/week whenever the amount is exhausted I wouldn't continue till less I refilled my wallet. However, crypto currency deposit is the safest way to make deposit to gamble without the third party interfering with your transactions.

You gamble with crypto because you have knowledge about it and have made it your preference.
There are other people who don't know about crypto or know enough about it that it can also be used to gamble in crypto casinos and platforms; they still use their cards/cash for gambling, and that is still okay so long as they are gambling responsibly.
-
Last week I used Master Card to deposit but casinos that still use debit are just few but more of cryptocurrency casinos. And most the ones we have altcoinstalks and bitcointalk are using Cryptocurrency. In cryptocurrency you pay transaction fee and in debit card or fiat transaction you don't pay transaction fee. So if the two options crypto and card is available then you choose the one that is preferable for you.

I gamble with both fiat and crypto and the amount I want to use to play - if I want to just gamble with little amount and I don't want to spend too much time gambling I usually gamble with my fiat and I deposit using my debit card or just do a bank transfer to my account (the casino I use allows that).
While if I want to gamble with large amountnill go through crypto and I usually get some bonuese when I make deposits through crypto.

I'm just saying one thing , Personally for me the most important thing is to stay as far away from the sights of governments, banks, third parties as possible, and the Best way is with crypto , be it in btc , or any other form of crypto, because I think that in the future a government can make us pay very high taxes for using a credit or Debit card in a site like these , I Always think that way because it is the safest, that is why I say that it is best to deposit in crypto when it comes to crypto sites, there is no other way, of course I respect the decision of others, but I recommend Crypto.
-
It's either digital fiat or crypto because I don't like connecting any of my accounts to any online platforms, be it gambling, exchanges, or whatever. The way they handle account security might have improved over the years but I'm never taking that risk even if the chance of exploit is 1%.

most of us here are using crypto so most likely you will read response from us to be depositing crypto. i have not even hear or read a case where someone with no idea in crypto suddenly just login in a crypto casino and then buys BTC through the casino itself using their card. but i heard fiat gamblers going to crypto exchange, buying BTC and withdraw their BTC to a Bitcoin casino.
most of the time i just use stablecoin to bet on casinos but because i am earning some tokens thru the casino dividends, i also use those tokens to bet.

For me, Crypto for sure. This is much safer and more private. especially in my country, gambling is restricted, so how can I make deposits more easily to the platform. So Crypto is the best way to do it. And there are many options for making deposits via crypto, which are usually quite cheap. Not only Bitcoin, now there are many gambling platforms that accept several alternative coins with lower fees, so that is an option for deposits or withdrawals. Just check which one is more effective, faster, has lower fees, and of course safer.
Depends on what available and what platform you are dealing on with.
Oh yes, this is also a consideration, if there is no crypto option, what else can you do, direct fiat deposit. However, I personally just avoid this deposit option. If for example there was a crypto option it would be much better. However, if there isn't one, it looks like you have to look for another alternative.

I used to gamble by fiat but never went back to fiat since crypto gambling because it gives me the convenience of safe gambling. I can do gambling without KYC but gambling by fiat there must to submit personal information. Especially to make a deposit I need to submit some personal information including my phone number. I like to gamble anonymously. Also with crypto I get the opportunity to deposit and withdraw easily which I prefer to gamble using crypto.

Honestly, I use crypto over fiat because I am to lazy to get wallet out of the bag. With crypto, I just copy/paste deposit address to metamask widget. All I have to do is to make less than 10 clicks. If banks would have browser widgets, I would probably use fiat as well. Even gambling on mobile, where I have to tap and switch between apps, and also copy/paste, is less convenient than built-in wallet widget.
It is wrong to think that use crypto only because I have knowledge about it, or we are on crypto forum. My crypto could be on hold, and fiat would be my choice. But no, crypto, and BNB in general (in fact any fast and cheap blockchain would do) is my choice today.

I find it convenient to fund with my card. My card is saved to my betting account, so all I have to do when I want to deposit is enter the amount and click. It is very easy for me. This eliminates the need for me to open my banking app before funding. My betting app allows me to get funded. So far, I have had no problems, and the dependability is excellent.

But isnt such convenient option also make you more vulnerable to depositing more than you want or can afford? Some extra steps that you would make if you were to open banking app, would make you feel twice before depositing. Your bound card is like one click deposit. Right now you maybe can control yourself. But can you predict how you will act in specific situation? Long story short, do you fully trust yourself? :)

This is also one downside of choosing the most convenient or fastest way to deposit is that it will push our limits to get more funds for the gambling thing. I know this is not just a one time deposit because given the fact that it is way more easier then we would expect more in the long run of gambling I mean it's a double edge sword for me.

Fiat dominates me when I gamble, because I haven't found gambling that uses crypto
The reason I am more comfortable using fiat is because the losses will be greater if I am pumping in my mind

Actually I don't like gambling with the cash or the fiat currency I like those sources where I don't need any documentation or any documentation related medium and also there is the big reason as a crypto Ethustiant people I always like to use crypto in everywhere if it is possible to use crypto in all sectors I can use the crypto I will do that. And I think most people will like it because here you don't have to use any extra data, just have a decentralized wallet and some funds in it.
Anyway, if I talk about the funding of gambling, then I will say that it is harmless to use 2-5% of a person's monthly income to fund gambling.

I said in another community that I gamble both in fiat and crypto.
Fiat if we will go out with friends and families and then try to enjoy the night in a traditional base casinos. And I think that's how it is for some as well as a I see some group of people playing with just small amount of money sitting on table or slot machine and having the time of their life with friends.
But then again, we are in crypto so I also do play online with Bitcoin and then other altcoins. Much better if you will try to used other crypto for deposits and withdrawals and not just Bitcoin because of the problems with transaction fees.

It could be said that the easier it is for us to make a deposit, the greater the risk that we will do something that we should not do. This will happen when we lose self-control, especially when we experience defeat.
Indeed, in this case it depends on us too, because there are also people who force themselves when they want to gamble. They are willing to go far just to deposit some money so they can gamble.

I use only cryptocurrency deposits on good reliable casinos that dont have strict kyc verification like Sportsbet.io
When using any fiat currencies you have to perform verification and I dont want to do that and send my documents to another website.

Crypto
Gambling in my country is prohibited, even local exchanges in my country if they find out that deposits from direct gambling platforms will usually be detected and will be questioned. Instead of complicated things, just look for something simple and safe, crypto. That's all.
Now there are many platforms that accept crypto, with reasonable fees, so it's more crypto. If you don't have crypto to deposit, then look for another platform, that's what I do.
