Didn't these "recent studies" take into account that a significant portion of those who buy Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are investing for quick profit? Is it a good investment method instead of traditional investment methods and that a small percentage buys Bitcoin because of financial freedom, privacy and decentralization?
A recent study has found that cryptocurrency ownership is associated with belief in conspiracy theories and “dark” personality traits such as narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and sadism... See more for yourself here (https://news.bitcoin.com/crypto-owners-more-likely-to-have-dark-traits-study-shows/).I'll say that the study was conducted for the view to see the negatives of crypto owners, and not to highlight their positive side. Everyone has the potential to have dark traits and most of the times, the environment where the individual finds him/herself can either make it more pronounce or keep that side of them recessive.

It also state they collect the data from May 26 2022 to June 30 2022, when cryptocurrency market was on decline.

In any case, they are biased and therefore worthless.

Surveys are not a benchmark for any conclusions because most people answer surveys randomly as long as they appear to be participating, especially if we see that this survey is aimed at crypto ownership, as we know crypto owners want to always remain anonymous and not be published.
